"The room itself was pretty and had a beautiful view of the Manila skyline, but unfortunately the overall experience was disappointing due to cleanliness and maintenance issues. When we arrived, there were someone else’s dirty socks left in the closet, and there were no towels in the room, so we had to use bath robes to dry off the first night. The windows overlooked the city, but they were so dirty it was difficult to enjoy the view. We ordered dinner to the room on the second night, and the dishes were left outside for two days without being picked up. There also did not seem to be any housekeeping service during our stay. Noise was another major issue. There was a pickleball court outside the room that stayed extremely loud until after 2:00 a.m., and there also appeared to be some type of construction or work happening nearby or on the roof that added even more noise. The restaurant was also disappointing because many of the drinks listed on the menu were unavailable, along with about half of the food options. The positive part of the stay was the staff. The woman at the front desk and the security guards were all friendly, helpful, and professional throughout our visit. Overall, the hotel has potential because of the nice rooms and location, but the cleanliness, lack of housekeeping, noise, and restaurant issues made the stay far less enjoyable than expected."

"It was our second time at Bakasyunan Resort at Tanay. The first one was in 2019 as a couple and we promised we will return with our kid one day, so we did this April 2026. What we like aside from the view is the peaceful vibe of the place and it has a lot of activities that a kid can enjoy. The swimming pool is big that my son didnt want to stop swimming. Its a perfect getaway from the noisy and busy city. The staff is very accomadating too, food is good and its very affordable. We hope we can go back again some day."

"The staff at the desk were rude. We cleaned the room and one staff member ignored us. The staff at the pool. My nephews are even taking social media accounts, knowing that my nephews are minors."
