Good location amenities is bad

Clean room, friendly staff, bed was a little hard. A+

The room was nice and tidy, but the surrounding streets were noisy at night, and we paid 30 euros of city tax at the front desk when we checked in. When we checked out, the front desk asked us to pay another 30 euros of city tax. We said that when we checked in After paying, the front desk categorically said that they only charge the city tax after checking out, which is equivalent to a city tax of 60 euros (twice the normal city tax!) for two people and two nights in a four-star hotel. I don’t know. Whether they made a mistake or deliberately overcharged, please consider carefully!

The environment is average. The advantage is that it is close to attractions and the subway. The bathroom is very crowded and there is no locking device on the door. Breakfast is also very simple.

The room size is okay, and the service staff are very polite. The hotel is located next to the Imperial Avenue, and the Colosseum is just across the street. It is very comfortable to take a walk at night. The breakfast food is basically Western style, with many varieties and very fresh. There is a Chinese restaurant behind the hotel, the price and taste are good

Hotel is in a great location, room was large for European standards and for the most part felt clean but also had an ant problem. Air condition didn’t work and would randomly turn heat on. Staff was phenomenal, but from a facility perspective this place has its opportunities to deliver a slightly better experience.

The hotel is in a great location. Staff are very friendly. Breakfast is very good great selection for everyone in my opinion. For me and my granddaughter we found the beds hard. AC wasn't the greatest but when we went it was extremely hot so I am sure everyone AC was working overtime. Have stayed here once before and got the same great service that is why I came back. Right behind the hotel is residential and some great local restaurants and bars.

Staying at the FH55 Grand Hotel Palatino in Rome was great experience. The staff was lovely - so helpful. The rooms were clean and much larger than I expected for a city hotel. And I loved the breakfast!

An excellent location for sightseeing; easy walking distance to forum and piazza Venezia, and just down the road from the main train station.

Hotel looked “tired”; Air conditioning wasn’t working; Shower was nothing more than a dribble. Staff were very friendly, and location was good.
