"Was referred here by Navy Lodge because they were booked. Clean, simple rooms for 50 euro. There is street parking or a dirt lot about a block away. I'll give this place 3.5 stars because walls are thin and it can get noisy, especially street noise in the morning. "

"I understand that it was February, but the hotel was really not welcoming. The weather was nice, but there was not really any table and chairs outside apart a few in front the main area. The swimming pool was closed, what it's normal for February, but with a fence around it. It really looks terrible! At some point, it was sunny and I wanted to work outside, there was not table and chair near our bedroom where the wifi signal was good, so we had to choice that going where we can find some table and chairs outside the bar and the reception area, where the wifi signal was very inconsistant. I can see on my laptop that there was another wifi signal for the events, that one appeared to be strong and good. I asked to the reception if there was a way for them to give me the code as the general wifi was not keeping cutting and I can't sit near our bedroom where there was not table and chair outside, the person at the reception replied frankly: NO, it's not possible. I was not happy and he told me he was going to ask his manager. I came back 10 mins later, nothing, it was clear that he didn't ask... I expressed very clearly how I was disappointed not necessary about the weak wifi signal, but more about the fact that the staff at the reception was clearly ignoring us, they even didn't pretend. I was told that someone from management will get back to us, we left the following day and nobody came back to us. Extremely disappointed. Also, if you've got children, it's not a family hotel, there is a small slide and a couple of swings at the very end of the hotel, with nowhere to sit for the parents. There is not really an access from the bedrooms to the swimming pool other than through the main reception area, not great when you are wet. Anyway, it didn't apply to us as the swimming pools were closed, but in Summer time, it wouldn't have been great!"

The view from the balcony was beautiful and the room layout accommodated all our needs to make a memorable experience. Cannot say enough about the attentive and friendly service. Thank you for the memories. Will be back again."

"Disappointed Stay – Won’t Be Returning The hotel and facilities were very good – clean, comfortable rooms and generally well-maintained surroundings. However, the experience was let down severely by the food and service. We were on a half-board basis, and to say the food was dreadful would be an understatement. It was bland, often cold, and incredibly underwhelming. Shockingly, there was even a microwave provided – presumably for guests to reheat their meals, which says it all. Equally disappointing was the attitude of the staff. Many seemed sullen, unapproachable, and uninterested in engaging with guests, which only added to the negative experience. Sadly, this visit fell far short of expectations, and I won’t be returning."

"For the most part this was a great stay. Our room was immediately upgraded by the friendly front desk staff when we found that we'd been given two single beds rather than our requested double bed (fortunately we weren't there in the high season so this switch was easily possible). The room itself was still quite basic but with a comfortable bed and excellent shower. The buffet dinner and breakfast was varied and quite tasty--but, to repeat another earlier comment, a bit salty for us. We particularly enjoyed renting bikes and riding along the beautiful ocean-side bike path. The reason for the 4-star review is partially because of surprise over extra charges (the safe in the room isn't free, alcoholic drinks cost extra with dinner) but primarily because of the spa. The spa pool itself is fine, nothing particularly special, but OK. We booked a couples 'healthy back' massage, and while the young woman who gave the massage was kind, it was a huge disappointment that, for that price and for a 'couples' massage, she was alone! That meant that one of us had to just lie there with some warm gel and pad on our back while the other had a massage. Given that the hour-long 'massage' began with a 10-15 minute session in separate jacuzzi tubs, the actual massage time was about 15-20 minutes each. Not worth it."

"We had a swim up room which was excellent. We had all the facilities we needed the rooms are fully equipped and the hotel is really clean. The way the room was positioned near the main pool was perfect as well. All the staff were really helpful and brilliant and the reception stay were super helpful. This may be the most relaxing holiday we have ever had and we can't wait to return. The hotel is in a great position for accessing the beach, there are no shops or restaurants in easy walking distance other than a beach bar. A taxi to rota is worth a trip it is a lively area with plenty of restaurants and bars."

"Liked · NIce hotel in a quiet location on the edge of the town of Rota. Its a short drive into town or there is a bus every half an hour from just outside. The beach is a short 5 minute walk through a pine forest. We had a small apartment with living space, bedroom, terrace & a small kitchen. Everything was spotlessly clean but the kitchen is pretty basic, not really designed for full meal cooking, with only a microwave & 2 rings. The hotel has a American style Tex Mex restaurant which was not to our taste, they also serve breakfast which we didnt have. There are other restaurants within a short walk. Hotel is pet friendly with dog bed & water bowl provided. There is plenty of free street parking and the hotel also has secure gated parking area for €9 a night. Disliked · Checking in. Even though we were the only people checking in, it took half an hour of form filling by us & keyboard bashing by the male receptionist. I had paid in full through the *********** app but even so, the receptionist insisted on having my card number, expiry date & CVV number to "check with his records", something that I was entirely unhappy about."
