Location is good. There are BRAT station and bus stop near this hotel.

It's definitely not the best hotel, but it's not bad for the price point. If you're on a tight budget and need a place for a couple days, this could be it.

Great inexpensive place. If you need to sleep for the night it is perfect. If you are looking to lounge by a pool with your kids, keep looking because this is not for you. They have nice televisions in the room, and access to the shower and bathroom n the hall. Coffee by reception area.

Stay was cool, I'd stay again.

Union was the right price in the very right location, and wonderful people running the place as well. Toilet & washroom were in the hallway, but that was OK with me, as I've traveled extensively outside the West, and done that regularly. BART access is nearly doorstep, which was a top priority - loved it! Location is right at the "Burrito Triangle", with lots of other food available, too, so dining is easy. Their complimentary coffee is strong & fresh, but since DIY was permitted, I brought my civet coffee & fill-yourself K-cups. Good place to stay!

Certainly is bare bones, but one of my favorite places to stay when going out at night in the city. Since I live in San Jose, I don’t want to uber back and forth and staying here for $60 is perfect. It is super clean and the owners are very kind.

[Good points] - Cheap - The toilets are shared, but they are clean and well-cleaned - 1 minute walk from 16th St. Mission Station - Located near the city center, so it's easy to get around - You can get to San Francisco International Airport without changing trains - You can get one cup of coffee a day (in front of the front desk) - The front desk staff are relatively kind [Bad points] - The surrounding area is unsafe (there are a lot of homeless people) - There are flies flying in the hallway - The soundproofing in the room is poor, and outside noises can be heard until late at night - There is no heating in the room, which should be there - The tissues installed are smelly - There is no place to put soap in the shower room - There is no place to hang a towel on the sink in the room [Points to be careful of] 1. To be honest, the surrounding area is very unsafe, and there are many people who seem to be homeless hanging around in front of the station, and something like a flea market is held. It is dangerous to walk alone. In addition, the city of San Francisco, including the area around the hotel, has a strong smell of urine and feces on the grounds, and the streets are extremely unsanitary and unpleasant. I would not recommend this hotel if you are visiting San Francisco for sightseeing. ② The front desk is on the second floor of the building, but the guide states it is on the first floor. This is one floor less than the actual floor, so be careful not to make a mistake. ③ I couldn't quite figure out how to use the shower on the second floor (one floor above the front desk). I recommend the shower on the third floor (the top floor), which you can figure out how to use at a glance. ④ There is no door plate, so if they don't come to clean (change towels), you can ask the front desk staff for a new one by telling them your room number.

It's not bad, but the street downstairs feels a bit messy, but the service is humane. Because this is my last few days in the United States, I don't have US dollars in cash, so the hotel waived my deposit. This is very good.

It was my first time traveling alone, and I wanted to cry to stay in a place like this. It's cold... Japan is amazing.

A mediocre hotel for the price

There is nothing to fault in terms of price, but the population on the street downstairs is relatively complex, so single women should pay attention to safety if they stay here. Try to avoid traveling alone.

The cheapest one I can find is a small room with a small bed, I go to the toilet and take a shower, and go to the public area. Those with low requirements can live well, but those with high requirements can’t stand it. The surrounding environment is almost bad, and the transportation is convenient.
