Dorma Coliseum
"Great location. Clean and comfortable with very good breakfast."
Hotel Finca Alcamino
"The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable."
Dorma Sardinero
"It has been a wonderful experience. Both the location of the hotel and the service offered are unbeatable."
Chateau la Roca
"The hotel has a massive free car park with the entrance to the hotel around the back of the building. We were welcomed by a very friendly lady who advised where to grab something to eat. The room was huge, warm and comfortable. There was a t.v. free WiFi and a hairdryer. The bed was big and comfortable. We had a great peaceful nights sleep. The shower was hot and powerful. On departure we handed the key back to another friendly lady on reception. All in all, a wonderful experience. "
Faranda Alisas, Ascend Hotel Collection
"Excellent"

"Everything was great. But the service was the best part. Super friendly and helpful."
ibis Styles Santander
"Modern hotel next to the Valdecilla la Marga train station, a little far from the centre. Friendly staff. The room had a slight smell of sewage because the shower is very close to the bed."
Abba Santander
"Everything was perfect. Cleanliness, comfort, central location, and very friendly staff."
Hotel Chiqui

Hotel Arha Santander
"I can't remember a worse hotel in my life. I don't understand how IMSERSO (the Spanish government's social services agency) continues to offer this hotel. Breakfast and dinner were meager and poor. Dinner was served at a fixed time. If you're not careful, you'll go hungry. Ceiling tiles in the bathroom were falling off, the wardrobe was broken and covered in paint stains, the bed was rock hard, impossible to sleep on. Door bottoms were gaping from the dampness of the mop. There were no electrical outlets. I had to unplug the TV to charge my phone. The toilet was loose and wobbly. There was a dangerous outlet a foot away from the toilet, plugging in a heater that didn't work and whose underside hadn't been cleaned in years. In short, the worst hotel of my life. I've read similar reviews and complaints to mine, and IMSERSO seems oblivious, and to top it all off, it boasts three stars. UNBELIEVABLE!!! 😡🤬😤"
Calas de Liencres
"The hotel is a very comfortable hotel, a very comfortable room and a spacious bathroom, comfortable beds, friendly staff ... to repeat."
Posada la Morena
"Small hotel with a beautiful view over the coast. At night we could hear the crashing waves. The beds were very comfortable. The room a little worn in places but it is characterful. Lovely beds, warm welcome very pet friendly. Lots of walks. €10 each: Breakfast of an omelette, hot drinks, juice and toast. We requested gluten free bread which was provided. €7 each. Tasted delicious: Secure car park in front of hotel. 20 minutes drive to Santander ferry. This will be our go to stop when catching the ferry. Thank you"
Hotel Santemar
"Excellent “four star” hotel, Reception Staff helpful, professional and friendly, accommodation excellent. I do feel to pay an additional car parking charge of 15 euros in their underground garage area is frankly an unnecessary extra for hotel guests… parking in the surrounding streets is difficult. Food was just ordinary if a little overpriced, my Veal Entrecôte was mostly good but in parts tough and chewy, chips nothing outstanding, my advice would be to eat out at the many excellent restaurants in the adjoining street. Overall a good four star accommodation but restaurant is lacking due to average food and pricing just on the verge of being to high for what you get."
Hotel Bahía
"Super!"
Eurostars Hotel Real
"The hotel where the royal family used to vacation with friends may be a great choice if you are looking for a royal feeling."
Gran Hotel Sardinero
Alda Don Carlos
"All in all it was a decent hotel/apartment. Location was fantastic, 2 minutes from the beach and restaurants and bus stop. Super market around the corner. The room itself was not bad. Fairly spacious, ample cupboard and storage space, good kitchen amenities. However, the beds were uncomfortable, the pillows were not at all comfortable and there was no air con. This made staying in the room from around 2pm to 7pm unbearable. The bathroom was tiny and the shower cabin was very very narrow which left you no choice but to bump your arms and elbows in the cabin doors each time you shampooed your hair. Reception was friendly but not too helpful. Daily cleaning was good. Towels were soft. Breakfast was good for the price and the main waiter was Eagle to please. If it had aircon I would add a star. It needs a bit of TLC and some form of cooling as temperatures hit over 30 while we were there."
Vincci Puertochico
"Everything is fine, thank you!!"
Las Carolinas Garden
"Great location and very easy to find. Has secure parking (8 euros extra). The hotel is very relaxed, clean and tidy, with charm and character. The receptionist (Lavinia) speaks excellent English and also helped me with my Spanish. We really felt nothing was too much trouble. We had a few drinks in the gardens before heading to dinner in a local restaurant. There are several restaurants in easy walking distance. The room itself was simple, but clean, fresh and tidy. It had a fridge with bottled water. A great nights sleep, and a lovely shower. Lovely soft towels and two pillows each. Breakfast was traditional Spanish, but with fresh baked bread, the seeded brioche being my favourite. We will definitely stay again."
Apartamentos Las Brisas
"The apartment is very old and poorly maintained. The furniture is chipped, the bathroom glass is broken, the shower screen is hanging loose and could fall, the sink doesn't drain properly, the bed frame is completely bent, and when we tried to open the living room bed, it fell to the floor. Finally, it was quite dirty in the less accessible areas, as was all the kitchenware. We called the manager, who was very polite, but she didn't resolve any of the problems during our stay."
Hotel Palacio del Mar
"I stayed in Hotel Palacio del Mar for a couple of nights on a work trip to Santander. Over the service was good, the rooms were huge for what we paid and the location near the beach and the university was convenient. The breakfast was decent, but nothing special. The rooms did feel a bit dilapidated and one of my sheets was not very clean, so some renovations and improved cleaning would be welcome, but overall the experience was good."
Hotel Los Angeles
"It is noisy at night and morning due to a train path."
NH Ciudad de Santander
"The hotel is well located in the city and is pleasant. The staff is friendly, helpful and attentive. The buffet breakfast has a lot of variety."
Apartamentos Bahía de Boó
"A apartment was available to the main road, and the lack of thermal and acoustic isolation of the building was noted."
Soho Boutique Palacio de Pombo
"One night in Santander so we wanted something the taxi could easily find from the airport and where we could walk, with luggage, to the railway station. Perfect. Hotel seems to be newly renovated. Our room was lovely with a street view. Staff were excellent and holding our luggage wasn't a problem at all. Great position in old Santander, with a lovely tapas bar just over the road, and a market with food stalls and a restaurant just a couple of steps further away. Did the job beautifully."
