Our recent stay at Jungle Wildlife Camp was beautiful! The restaurant manager Shiteram made sure our stay was perfect! He was so kind and considerate helping us move rooms as in our original the facilities were not working, he always greeted us when we saw him and helped us spot wildlife in the river.
From the hotel we were able to spot rhinos, crocodiles, elephants bathing, and many birds. We had breakfast at the restaurant every morning and it was lovely.

The beautiful view on the river across from the UNESCO park was the only good thing about this place. Even though the room has a heater and AC, it would not work, and we froze under the 4 degree temperatures at nighttime. The food taste was not only poor, but also unhygienic, leading to diarehha for all of us. Finally the toilet did not work, requiring us to jerry rig the shower to use to flush and clean the toilet.

The location is very convenient. The hotel can book tickets and projects for the national park. The service is warm and thoughtful.
Highly recommended to stay in here if you go to chitwan. I had a lovely stay in here for 2 nights. The hotel located in river side, i can see a lot of bird from hotel restaurant, hotel staffs are very nice as well. They also provide a safari tour with a reasonable price.

This hotel is a great place to enjoy all that the Chitwan region has to offer. We stayed in two of the tent style units on top of the restaurant and they were very comfortable with air con, comfortable beds and all you would want from a bathroom. The staff here go out of their way to ensure everything is great for you and there is a lovely culture of looking after the guests across all staff. The food in the restaurant was quite amazing and it’s well worth eating meals other than just breakfast there. It’s an amazing location to base yourself for the adventures that await in Chitwan, plus you only need to look outside your room at this hotel to see crocodiles, rhinos and elephants all in the river. And the sunsets are quite spectacular.

This is a great badic hotel right at the river in Sauraka. The rooms are basic but clean with all important fans and airconditioning (very important in the middle of the day). The staff both at the restaurant (Siktaram) and at the reception (Sabina) is super friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the breakfast and the food served at the restaurant isn’t that great (try Cafe de Safari on the high street!), but I would be very happy to stay here again at my next visit to Chitwan NP.

Checked into this hotel (spent 4 nights here) after spending 4 days at a more humble and further out of town hotel. No sooner had I checked in and strolled to the river bank (all of 20 metres away) I found my first rhino feeding without a care in the world some 100 metres away. It really did surprise me how placid this large beast was. I really enjoyed my time here and would regard the hotel as rustic, yet comfortable with the customer service being a standout. Some staff excelled, especially to the man who worked tirelessly at the restaurant from sunrise to well after sunset. The location is second to none. I had a room on the top floor which had extensive views over the river and well into the National Park. You will find some mixed reviews of this hotel however please keep in mind this is Nepal, a developing country with people just wanting to help you and give you every chance to experience their culture and most wonderful country. I would certainly recommend this hotel as a large room with ensuite and breakfast is very reasonable and certainly value for money.

We enjoyed our stay here, all staff were very good especially the man in the restaurant and our guides on safari. We booked safari activities through the hotel and it was all good. Was very nice to be able to watch rhino from the riverside and from our seats outside our room. We also saw deer and crocodile from here. Room was basic but clean and we had warm water, good value for the price for sure. Air con and heater worked. Internet was good. Location was good, short walk to town for restaurants and shops as well as can walk along the river. The only thing to let it down was the restaurant. Breakfast was fine for quick meal before venturing out, however if you eat lunch or dinner from the menu try to only choose Asian type dishes. Spring roll, momo, sweet and sour etc was all good. Except when we had western food like burger and pasta it wasn't good. Was handy to have food there if you needed to get a meal before safari etc., we walked to town a couple of times for meals and found some nice restaurants there. Thankyou for a nice stay and hope to one day come back.

Great location on the river, we saw wild Rhinos in front of the hotel every day. Quiet, clean and very friendly staff. Close to town and shops and restaurant. Reception staff could organise safaris, bustickets or anything else. Breakfast was plentyfull.

The hotel is situated in a very nice place. The view across the river is beautiful. The rooms were fine, nothing special. Not the cleanest but it has everything you need. However, we would not recommend to book a tour at the hotel. The prices we were offered were exceptionally high as compared to local travel agencies in Sauhara (eg. The costs for a private whole day jeep safari and 2 hour canoe ride with full day jungle walk was €420 for 2 people in the hotel, compared to €290 at a local travel agency). While confronting the hotel with this difference, we suddenly got the same offer and were given some silly reasons for the initial price. Furthermore, at arrival we asked to book a tourist bus from Chitwan to Kathmandu. They would arrange front seats for us, as we specifically asked for it. Despite their confirmation we ended up on the back of the bus and never got a reply back from the hotel. Conclusion: hotel was fine (very friendly waiter), however tours not recommended

We spent 5 nights at the Jungle Wildlife Camp but could easily have stayed for 5 weeks. We came to Chitwan to see the One-horned rhino and gharial, and the prime location of the Jungle Wildlife Camp on the bank of the Rapti river meant that we were able to spot both species without even leaving the hotel! The bird life outside the hotel is amazing, and each species was expertly introduced by Sitaram, the hotel's waiter, who has an infectious passion for the local wildlife. If you are going to venture into the park, I can't recommend Nobin, the hotel's tour guide, highly enough. We went on two private jeep safaris with Nobin who has an expert knowledge of the park and its inhabitants and was able to track down all of our target species from tigers to greater hornbills. Nobin was also able to organise an extended canoe trip down the river to allow us to view gharial at their level. We will definitely be back!

this hotel is amazing. I actually saw more animals from my balcony than I saw on the jeep safari. It is perfectly located at the bend of the river overlooking the park. It’s in a very quiet area, no traffic noise at all. Yet you are close to the center of town so you never have to walk far for restaurants or anything else. The main person at the restaurant is named SitaRam and he is an encyclopedia of birds! Every day he was pointing out new birds to me and making sure that I knew where the rhinos were at all times! The beds are very comfortable and as a solo female traveler I felt very safe there. Everyone at the hotel took care of me and made it an amazing experience!
