"Jeeva Resort was recommended to me by people I met during my holiday in Lombok. Based on their recommendation, I decided to visit the resort and see it for myself, with the intention of possibly booking a stay there next year. It took quite some effort to get there, as the resort is very isolated and located in a remote part of Lombok. After driving for more than an hour, I was therefore extremely surprised when the security guard at the gate refused to let me enter, stating that only hotel guests were allowed in. I clearly explained that I was a potential future guest and had specifically made the long journey to see the resort before making a booking. Despite this, it took a frustrating 15-minute discussion before I was finally allowed to enter, and only after speaking by phone with someone from reception who in fiest instance also refused. To make matters worse, they initially even wanted to charge me 100k simply to enter the property. This is an absurd way to treat potential customers. By the way, the road from the entrance gate ( ca 300 meter) to the reception is in terrible condition and extremely difficult to drive. After finally arriving at the reception, having a look around and drinking a Coke, I left. Unfortunately, I was not impressed at all. The location and views are certainly attractive, but in my opinion the overall quality and standard of the resort are poor. The public toilet near reception was not clean and smelled unpleasant. There also seemed to be quite a number of staff members simply hanging around without doing anything, which added to the overall impression of poor management. Maybe the lodges are fine, I don’t know of course. My overall experience however was very disappointing. The way potential customers are treated at the entrance is completely unacceptable for a resort operating in the hospitality industry. Lombok is generally known for its friendly and welcoming hospitality, but unfortunately I experienced exactly the opposite here. I certainly would not recommend this resort based on my experience. Management should also seriously reconsider having this particular security guard as the first point of contact for visitors and potential guests. This also implies on the guy at the reception. "Best value for money hotel in Kuta! Smart Double Room's interior is clean, modern and tastefully decorated. Room size though small, is surprisingly well-planned and contains everything you need (large TV, safe, toiletries, coffee/tea, clean flask that you can refill yourself at the lift lobby and a mini-size fridge to store a few bottles of drinks). Hairdryer needs to be requested from the reception if you need it for the duration of your stay. Aircon works perfectly and Wifi is fast and reliable. The location is very pleasant, quiet (I didn't hear prayer calls, noisy bar music or roosters like elsewhere in Kuta) and convenient (a few minimarts and restaurants nearby and 5-minutes' walk to beach). Staff are very friendly, helpful and responded quickly when I requested for help (I'm impressed!). I didn't have breakfast there as I find the buffet selection but not quite my taste but I did have a-la-carte lunches and dinners there (affordable Indonesian and Western dishes) and enjoyed the flavourful and well-presented dishes thoroughly! The only improvement needed is to have some hooks in the shower room."

"Pros: The service was fantastic; the staff working there were super friendly and helpful. The view from the restaurant and the villa was absolutely beautiful! If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is the place to be. The private pool at the villa was also wonderful. We booked a tour package that included a car and a driver. The driver, Mr. Bambang, was amazing! The man at the reception desk, Arif, was also very helpful and kind. Cons: The breakfast wasn't as extensive compared to other accommodations, but the quality was good. We did see a mouse or a rat run through the villa, but then again, you're in the middle of nature, so it can happen (the door was open at the time anyway)! Conclusion: We were very happy with our stay at Lobster Bay Resort and would definitely recommend staying there; it's truly delightful! 👍😁🥰"

"We stayed at the Dejama Glamping Resort for six nights and stayed in a double room with a pool view. It was actually a luxurious tent with every comfort and a wonderful view. The resort is lovingly designed, and the staff were all incredibly kind, friendly, and accommodating. The meals were delicious and beautifully presented. Most of the ingredients are grown in the resort's own garden or provided by the resort's own animals (milk, eggs). All in all, it was a very relaxing break from the stresses of everyday life."
