"Had a thoroughly lovely time at Lobster Bay. The staff couldn't have tried harder to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The views are truly stunning, especially from the pool side villa. Food was really nice. Highly recommend if you want to be near Kuta, but away from the hussle and bustle."

"The environment is beautiful, located on a cliff, about an hour's drive from the airport. We stayed in a deluxe double room, the most basic type, but it was still quite spacious. Our room was in a small courtyard with four rooms; two were sea-view rooms, which were more expensive, another was a standard room, and there was also a very large common lounge area, probably close to 100 square meters, available for all guests. All rooms shared a swimming pool. The service was also good. Every Saturday night, there's a BBQ for about 600,000 VND, and they gave us complimentary freshly squeezed juice. The hotel has a mini-zoo with sea turtles, deer, peacocks, etc. The only downside is the last 5 kilometers of the road to the hotel is a mountain road and a bit difficult to drive. The nearest beach is a 15-minute walk, or you can ask the hotel to take you there by car. Overall, I recommend it. Just one tip: it's best to arrange your return trip with the same driver who brought you to the hotel, as it's hard to find a taxi here unless you use the hotel's car, which is a bit pricier. It's great for photos, thanks to previous guests for their shared experiences – 'one plants the trees, another enjoys the shade'."

"My room had a great view of the ocean and we are just steps away. The place is peaceful as you hear only the roaring of the ocean when tide is high. During low tide you can walk as far as you can see shallow water and pick up some sea urchins or even a star fish that got stranded. Am told it is low season hence not many visitors. Which is great for us as we like peaceful and tranquility. We had a great stay at Myamo Beach Lodge with great humble attentive staff. They attend to all your needs and keep your room clean when you go out. Food serve is basic and substantial but they taste good and served on time. They went the extra mile to help get us a birthday cake as we would like to celebrate the birthday of a small child we got to know. Considering the quite remote location and that Sumbawa is an island that is not fully developed tourist destination as compared to the other islands nearby them like Lombok and Bali they are very hospitable in their local manner. Hence when you visit you need to lower your expectation. The local people are honest, humble and very respectful of guests."

"The place was nicely maintained despite very basic provisions. Staff had tried their best to serve and were welcoming. Breakfast was good with quite some choices. There were two issues that were not so convenient. First the place was quite remote like in the middle of nowhere, and there's no food supply after 10pm unless you drive for 20 minutes to a convenience store. Second the road leading to the resort is very rugged and poorly maintained, and you could only drive at a speed of 10km/h or you risk a flat tyre. The price was also flying high during MotoGP which was not too good a bargain comparing to hotels that were more accessible."

"The resort is stunning. We received a warm welcome with a complimentary upgrade. The pool is amazing, and the rooms are very spacious, around 40sqm, and well-equipped. Cleaning is thorough and done daily, with towel changes every day and linen changes every three days. The breakfast offers a good variety, although it caters more to local tastes."

"Cute little hotel. There was some renovation going on nearby during our stay, which was a bit inconvenient but not overly bothersome. The buffet breakfast was quite good! The staff were friendly and responsive! The rooms were decent, and the linens were clean! There are markets and a bazaar nearby, everything is close by. They used to have a partnership with Mandalika Beach Club that offered a 50% discount at the club's restaurant and free entry. That's gone now, but you can still get into the beach club for free by just registering on site."
