Even the elevator ride was a real nuisance, and there were laundry containers permanently parked in the dark, narrow hallway! "I was a bit disappointed in several respects: First I was charged for our first night of three, when we were unable to make it there due to train issues. I had warned the hotel a couple of weeks before our stay that this could happen and I wrote emails twice on our travel day to give reports/notice. Second, we found the room to be very basic (more like a college dorm room). Third, the breakfast was also very basic (the worst of 6 hotels that we stayed in during our trip)."

"We stayed 5 nights in this hotel. The room was renovated, clean, and had a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was quite good for 8 euros. The hotel is very well located for visiting the city, in a fairly quiet neighborhood. The welcome was perfect and the staff were attentive. It's a shame the elevator is noisy when it locks, and that the room lacks storage space. The staff are very friendly, which is very good for a 2-star hotel."

"This is not a conventional hotel as it has no reception or staff on site so you enter via a code. The rooms are nicely done, comfortable beds, decent size, quiet. The set-up though makes you feel a bit abandoned. There is no daily clean, we ran out of toilet paper and soap so you have to message the owners. They were responsive though. So bear this in mind. It’s a 10 minute walk from the town centre with on street pay parking. No other facilities."
