This is the first hotel which I stayed at for the trip. The hotel location is a bit far for the traveller only when they are leaving the hotel to walk to the metro station, but otherwise it is very convenient. There is a LanZhou noodles shop nearby for the muslim traveller, a family-themed mall on the other side of the road with a 24/7 Gym for the serious gym rat (pay a day pass fee, the gym is HK-based as far as I recall). On the way to the nearest metro station, there is also a web cafe and a night market with a supermarket nearby too. The specified metro station is also quite close to most of the tourist attractions in Shanghai.
The hotel staff is pleasant and the room is clean. Air-conditioning has good strength and no odors. The sheets are clean and the mattress + pillows + blanket comfy. The curtains can be configured to block out the sunlight so you can sleep-in! For non-local travellers, they may have difficulty using the QR-code scanning functionality to contact the concierge. However, all basic amenities/toiletries are already neatly provided so this is not a problem at all.
Their food served is healthy and good (I like their healthy porridge in particular). They also provide a gym (equipment for basic fitness) and good laundry services in case you need to get some clothes prepared for other days. If the table and couch in the hotel room itself is occupied by your other travellers, there is a lounge at the ground floor if you want to read or have some quiet time.
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel and will definitely come back here when I am visiting Shanghai again. (:

The room quality was excellent. The neighborhood and nearby attractions were quite good, and with Darongcheng mall right outside the door, there were plenty of excellent options for entertainment and dining. I'd definitely recommend it and would love to stay again.

The hotel service was fantastic. The ladies at the front desk were especially warm and welcoming. I had a very comfortable stay; the soundproofing was excellent, and the room smelled pleasant the moment I walked in.

This was my first stay at an Atour Hotel, and I had an excellent experience. The room was comfortable, spotless, and well-equipped. The staff were absolutely fantastic! My boyfriend and I had a very comfortable stay. I'll definitely consider Atour again for my next trip to Shanghai.

I stayed for several consecutive days and was able to upgrade my room with a voucher. Both the front desk staff and the housekeeping service were excellent. I had a very comfortable stay! They even have robots, and complimentary late-night snacks and fruit are provided. Atour has become my preferred choice for business trips!
