Linjiang International Cruise Hotel (Shanghai Baoyang Road Port Area)

I booked a room with a view, and enjoyed beautiful sunrises from it. The location is excellent – it's very close to the cruise terminal and right next to Paotaiwan Park. In the evening, we also enjoyed a beautiful light show in the plaza. We had seafood for lunch, which was absolutely fantastic! I'll definitely come back to visit again if I get the chance.

Superb location, very close to the port, and a large shopping mall right next door makes shopping incredibly convenient. Excellent value.

As a transit point for cruise travel, the hotel's front desk staff are proactive, providing guests with information on shuttle procedures and important tips during check-in. The shuttle drivers are helpful with luggage, and despite the cruise terminal being just across the river, the shuttle service offers maximum convenience, saving guests from any travel fatigue. The FamilyMart convenience store and Sea World Shopping Center, both located right next to the hotel, are perfect for stocking up on essentials or simply passing the time. A bonus: your hotel room card even gets you a discount at FamilyMart. While Fortress Park and the hotel's exterior are currently undergoing renovation and upgrades, this doesn't detract from enjoying an evening stroll or the scenic views. Although there's no direct elevator from the hotel parking lot to the lobby, vehicles can pull up right to the main entrance for luggage unloading. It would be beneficial if this detail were highlighted on the hotel's homepage, as guests who haven't done their research might find it an unexpected inconvenience. The room and bathroom were both spacious and impeccably clean, providing a perfect space for rest and recuperation before the next leg of our journey. While breakfast isn't extravagant, the fresh milk, eggs, and fried rice offer more than enough to refuel and start the day. The absolute highlight was our Supreme River View Room. Not only could we watch cruise ships depart and arrive at the port, but we also enjoyed a stunning sunrise right from our room. What more could you possibly ask for?

I booked this hotel near my home for relatives to stay one night. It offered excellent value for money. The rooms were simply furnished but very clean and well-maintained. The surroundings were also pleasant. Plus, it's located right by the Yangtze River and a park, which is great for a walk.

The complimentary shuttle service to the port was excellent, earning full marks. While the hotel's facilities are admittedly a bit dated, its incredibly convenient location and comprehensive surrounding amenities are a major advantage. The service was professional and well-managed.
