I had a great experience at this hotel. The overall service was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff who made the stay enjoyable. The room was comfortable, and the amenities were well-maintained. The convenient location was an added bonus. The hotel truly lives up to its 5-star rating, and I was very happy with my stay. I would definitely consider returning in the future.

Great location on the bund near by the subway line 2 and 14, the rooms were not cleaned perfectly, the mirror had fingers prints. Bed were comfortable and bathrooms big but the shower cabine was old
In general good but could be way better. Staff could speak very basic English.
Jade 36 restaurant service was not good as we expect and also the food no choices. Only the new year set menu and some dishes that mostly I don’s usually eat. I used to eat in Italy and to my opinion We paid a lot. Breakfast was heaven very good

This hotel delivers an exceptional experience. The room features a well-thought-out layout and a very high-quality interior finish, making it feel newer than expected. The location is absolutely top-notch and needs no further explanation. As expected, the staff were excellent—attentive, professional, and always ready to assist. A fantastic stay overall, and I wouldn’t hesitate to return!

Had an amazing experience at Shangri-La Pudong, my father is an elder and we have two young children. Excellent service from the moment we entered the property. Thank you to all staff that helped us! Great view of the bund and the lounge was lovely. Not overcrowded and a lot of chooses. Thank you for manager Jimmy Chen for your hospitality and also Mr Wilson from concierge. Location is nice and central. Service is nice. Cleaning lady has attention to detail. But some guests need to take care of their kids and not have them scream and run around the lounge disturbing other people.
