Hotel hardware is great. Nice south facing room over lovely blossoms trees garden. Super bed. Superior location! Very nice staff but under lots of pressure at check in and check out. Sad no visible management when needed. But hey it was a great stay and very nice people. My new hotel to stay at when in Shanghai

I stayed in this hotel in different years. So, I have a good comparison base. I was particularly happy with the very kind help by Guo the receptionist. He accompanied me to the room to show it and immediately proceeded with check in without any fuss. He kindly responded positively to all my queries and made me very welcome. I had a very good New Year's thanks to the Great location of the hotel and the help provided by the staff. I would certainly return to stay there again.

Very pleased with our stay. A room with two twin beds and another bedroom double bed huge space for family of 4 to move around. The pricing is very good. Short walk from MRT station. Friendly and helpful staff. Initially skeptical about booking coz it is a very old hotel but they have refurbished. From beddings to towels n tv n amenities, all very good. No regrets !

Good service. Nice people. Good location. Only Chinese breakfast. Wifi didn't work in my room, only weak signal in the lobby. I read some comments about noise from roadworks in the days before my visit, but I had no problems with that in de East Wing.

Non-stop noise in my east wing room from 7am til check out on a Sunday. First, it was a loud asphalt flatteninh machine at 7am Sunday doing repair work. Then loud staff banging and opening a malfunctionjng door repeatedly. Then loud cleaning staff next door and above. If they give you a room near the elevator and overlooking the front entrance of the East wing, go straight back to reception and ask to change rooms

I love love love this place. Just 400+- rmb but you can get quite a big room with bathtub. The breakfast was amazing. Staffs were very helpful especially Viola Fu and Jesse ＜3
