Bosiden Executive Apartment (Vanke and Songxuan Branch, Shenzhen North Station)

Excellent overall. It's very clean, and the location is great, being close to Shenzhen North Station with convenient transportation. There was construction next door, but surprisingly, it wasn't noisy at night. Highly recommended.

I'd stayed here once before and found the location to be excellent – right next to the subway, making it super convenient to get around. Given how clean the room was and the excellent value for money on my last visit, I decided to rebook. However, upon arrival, I discovered that the specific room I had stayed in previously was already occupied. The front desk informed me that I would have to wait until after check-out for a potential room change. The problem is, I was only staying for a few hours that afternoon – was I really supposed to wait for someone else to check out? I initially tried to discuss it with the front desk, hoping they could offer a flexible solution, but they actually told me to go and negotiate with the current occupant... I was utterly dumbfounded. I understand that a guest settled comfortably isn't going to just switch rooms, but as front desk staff, you can't just brush me off with a 'sorry, nothing we can do' without even attempting to help or mediate? I repeatedly explained that I found the previous room type much more comfortable and asked if they could accommodate me somewhat, given I was paying the same rate. Their dismissive 'take it or leave it' attitude truly annoyed me. I'm not one to make a fuss, but put yourself in my shoes: I proactively asked if they could look into the situation, only to be told again to 'go communicate with the guest myself.' What's the point of having a front desk then? The whole process was so utterly frustrating, and frankly, it completely soured my overall experience.
