MGM's design and service are simply outstanding, exactly our kind of style. Adding staff on WeChat made things incredibly convenient; they were truly at our beck and call. Make sure to register as a member to enjoy discounts on all your in-hotel spending. The kids absolutely loved the children's water park and the beach. A minor drawback is the lack of an indoor pool, meaning water activities are off-limits if there's heavy rain. The adjacent water world was decent, but we probably wouldn't visit it a second time. Overall, it was excellent, and the kids are already asking to come back again!

I was completely won over on my first stay at the MGM Grand Shenzhen Xiaomeisha! The sea-view room I booked this time offered an incredibly stunning panorama. The floor-to-ceiling windows looked directly out onto the azure sea. Waking up to the sparkling water in the morning and falling asleep to the sound of waves at night was pure bliss, truly therapeutic! The hotel facilities also exceeded my expectations. The bedding was incredibly soft and comfortable, the bathroom featured an excellent wet-dry separation design, and all toiletries were from high-end brands. Every detail truly exuded quality. A special shout-out to Jennifer for her incredibly thoughtful service! From patiently addressing my needs during check-in, to her constant attentiveness and prompt, gentle responses – she truly elevated my entire stay experience! I'll definitely be back to stay here on my next visit to Xiaomeisha.

Given the last-minute nature of our trip, most of the five-star beachfront hotels were already fully booked, so we opted for the newly opened MGM. The front desk kindly upgraded us to a suite, which was a thoughtful gesture. The suite was quite spacious, and the large balcony was a definite highlight. A nice detail was the inclusion of travel-sized mouthwash among the toiletries. My main gripe, however, is the dismal surroundings; the area is still heavily under construction. Moreover, the hotel's outdoor area is quite small – if you're not going to the beach, you can literally walk around the entire grounds in about ten minutes. In this aspect, I feel hotels like Marriott or InterContinental offer a much better experience. Dining options within walking distance are practically nonexistent, and even food deliveries require picking them up from a locker downstairs. We ended up having dinner at the hotel's Chinese restaurant with a group-buy package, which was acceptable but nothing special.
