The hotel staff are friendly and responsive. They taught me how to use the self check-in and check-out machine (even though I prefer checking in and out in person). Check out time is 11am, but it was easy to negotiate for a later check out time. You can do that in person, through the phone messages, or from the bedside clock in the room. The staff also gave me a $20 voucher to use at the lobby lounge.
The room was upgraded to a king bed with view, newly renovated. The bed was particularly comfortable, and I had a superb rest.
The noise insulation for each room was ok, but you can hear the doors opening and closing. The swimming pool and gym are well maintained. Theres sitting areas on the 2nd floor, for hanging out and making calls. The lobby lounge opens at 12pm, so you can order food there. Their grilled squid is fantastic!

2nd time booking this hotel as my gf loved the experience previously in Nov but I made a mistake of booking a room that I thought had bathtub due to the room pictures showing the bathtub and only noticed it when I entered the room on the day of the visit. Went down to request for a room change with bathtub and was willing to pay the extra differences if a change can be made but was told that there was none which was abit upsetting but I guess is understandable since it is still a mistake on my own part.
Other than the above, the room was clean and the hotel was still pretty near mrt station which was pretty convenient. For the price I paid, it is still decent although there might be better alternatives. Probably won't book thjs hotel again though.

We are satisfied with the friendly and helpful front desk staff as we have a smooth and fast process of check in even we are early. To our surprise, the staff has upgraded our room and we have a beautiful riverside view room.
The morning breakfast is great with quality food even though not quantity.
Overall we have a great staycation and we will certainly come back to Grand Copthorne again.

Hotel was fine, renovated rooms but pool was still old and I don’t like the way a member of the staff talk to my girlfriend when she tried to join me at breakfast. Luckily I wasn’t there to heard it because it could have gone wrong to talk like this to a hotel customer.

Very spacious room with both a shower stall and a bathtub. Added bonus that there is filtered drinking water available directly in the room.
Service was generally good as well - had a faulty minibar fridge which was replaced quite quickly by maintenance staff.
Based on the cleanliness, room comfort and location of the hotel to many restaurants and a big mall (Great World City) nearby, would definitely recommend.

Good location, I would surely choose to stay here again during my next trip to Singapore. Will be good if the management can add more sofa / couch at the lobby. For now they only have 4 chairs.

Housekeeper could have room spray prior guest arrival especially the bathroom.
While requesting to call on cab, the person in charge was not customer orientated.
