Guest User[”I've found a hidden gem of a guesthouse on Yangshuo West Street! The overall environment is comfortable and quiet, the room is clean and tidy, making for an exceptionally relaxing stay. The guesthouse has a bunch of fluffy cats and a gentle, adorable dog. Petting cats and walking the dog cures all travel fatigue. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Yangshuo, highly recommend!”,”The most delightful stop on my trip to Yangshuo was right by West Street, a peaceful haven amidst the bustle. The moment I walked in, I felt completely at ease. The room decor was cozy and clean, and the bedding was soft, making it incredibly relaxing to lie down after a busy day.\n The biggest surprise at the guesthouse was the array of small animals in the courtyard. There were groups of adorable cats, each with its own charm, who would actively come over to rub against you and ask for pets. There was also a well-behaved, affectionate dog. Sitting in the courtyard, petting the cats and playing with the dog, while looking out at the mountains and water, instantly calmed all my worries.\n The owner was thoughtful and attentive, even sharing tips on which West Street eateries to avoid. The hygiene was excellent, with absolutely no pet odors. This healing little courtyard is perfect for a getaway. I've already recommended it to friends, and I'll definitely stay here again when I return to Yangshuo!”,”I found a heavenly guesthouse on Yangshuo West Street! ✨\nThe environment is so comfy I didn't want to leave, the courtyard is pure healing!\nLoads of soft, cuddly cats to pet, plus a super well-behaved dog for company.\nComing back from West Street to pet the furbabies just boosts my travel happiness to max!\nRoom is clean and tidy, owner is warm and caring, location is perfect.\nA must-stay for animal lovers, you can't go wrong here!”,”Five-star rating! Guest UserThis guesthouse, or 'minsu' as they call it, actually surpasses many mid-to-low tier chain hotels. They offer free breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening desserts, and while the selection isn't huge, it's pretty decent. The laundry room is incredibly well-equipped; there are two of them on-site with plenty of washing machines and dryers, which is super convenient for long trips. The only minor inconvenience was the lack of a brush in the laundry sink. They've also thought of many thoughtful little details, like bags for clothes, disposable and regular slippers, conditioner in the bathroom, earplugs, unlimited bottled water, and even a tip in the room advising guests that they can hang clothes near the air vent. The hotel also sends daily WeChat reminders about meal times and asks if I want my room cleaned (though this is standard for chain hotels, I've stayed in guesthouses that don't clean your room during extended stays). All in all, it's better than many big-name hotels; I even asked the front desk if it was a chain hotel! The only slight downside might be that they don't offer a shuttle service in Yangshuo city, but taxis are very convenient and quite affordable. There's also a place to see lotus flowers nearby, but the water level was high these past two days, so I couldn't enjoy that.

Guest UserHidden deep within the Ten-Mile Gallery, this hotel completely isolates itself from the hustle and bustle of the outside world. The sense of escapism, in my opinion, is almost comparable to the Lux* Chongzuo, making for a truly satisfying vacation. As a well-established luxury brand originating from Indonesia, it's impressive how it has rooted itself amidst the natural beauty of Yangshuo while still deeply preserving its Indonesian heritage. For instance, the breakfast features an Indonesian-style set menu, all freshly prepared à la carte. The guest room walls are adorned with traditional Balinese Ubud Batik wax paintings. During turndown service at night, candles are lit to warm aromatic essential oils, replicating the local Balinese pre-sleep ritual. The pool is paved with unique Indonesian stone, appearing grey when dry but revealing a beautiful blue-green hue when submerged in water.
The hotel's service and quality are exceptional: the butler's WhatsApp replies were prompt, and despite the high greenery coverage, I wasn't bitten by a single mosquito during my two-day stay, indicating excellent pest control. The 450 sqm single-bedroom standalone villa is spacious, and the private pool is ample in both size and depth. Amenities include Cha Ling toiletries, a brand under LV, and the rooms are equipped with Bose speakers and Laifen hair dryers, ensuring top-notch hardware. It's rare for a hotel to maintain its original quality and standards after many years of operation, unlike many domestic hotels that gradually cut costs and downgrade after just a year or two. If you're looking for an immersive escape into nature in Yangshuo, I truly believe this place is worth a special trip. At the very least, if I get another chance to visit Yangshuo, this will still be my go-to resort for a second stay.

Guest User♥️ One of the best hotels in the Yangshuo area!
During this trip, we stayed at four different hotels in Yangshuo and the surrounding area, so we definitely have something to compare it with. And I can honestly say that this was one of the best hotels of our entire trip!
The hotel is not located in the town itself, but in the incredibly beautiful countryside surrounding Yangshuo, right among the famous karst mountains. In my opinion, this is exactly where you should stay if you are coming to this region for its spectacular nature and iconic scenery.
The views are absolutely breathtaking! The karst mountains surround you almost 360 degrees. You open the curtains in the morning and the scenery in front of you is simply unforgettable. Having stayed in four different places in this area, we can genuinely compare, and these were some of the most beautiful views we experienced during our entire trip.
The hotel itself is completely new, and you can feel it in every detail. The rooms are huge, modern and extremely spacious. Everything is new, spotless and of excellent quality. I especially want to mention the wonderful bed linen, beautiful high-quality towels and the overall quality of everything in the room. It is a genuinely comfortable and pleasant place to stay.
A very special thank you to the staff. The service was exceptional. Everyone treated us with incredible warmth, attention and genuine care. They would even message us on WeChat in the morning to ask if we were awake and invite us to come for breakfast. ♥️ Small gestures like this make you feel truly welcome and cared for.
Another highlight is the swimming pool with an incredible panoramic view of the karst mountains. It is probably one of the best places for photos. Swimming while surrounded by this extraordinary landscape is a very special experience.
Upstairs there is also a beautiful café with panoramic views and lovely photo spots. The hotel grounds themselves have many beautifully designed areas for taking pictures. If you love photography and want to take some truly spectacular photos during your trip, you will absolutely love this place.
The location is also very convenient for exploring the surrounding countryside. You can rent a scooter directly from the hotel and easily visit many of the beautiful natural attractions nearby. Riding through the countryside surrounded by the karst mountains becomes an experience in itself.
But above all, what made our stay truly special was the people who work here. We are sincerely grateful to the entire team for their hospitality, kindness, help and the genuinely warm way they treated us throughout our stay.
We will definitely come back. ♥️
We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Yangshuo, especially if you are coming to experience its famous natural scenery. If you want to wake up surrounded by karst mountains, enjoy almost 360-degree panoramic views, stay in a brand-new hotel with huge beautiful rooms, excellent bedding, wonderful service and a swimming pool with an unforgettable view, this is a fantastic choice.
Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so special and for taking such wonderful care of us. We are leaving with very warm memories and would happily return! ♥️♥️♥️

zhuyamartinYangshuo Sugarhouse has always been a hotel I've wanted to visit, and a serendipitous opportunity finally brought me here, marking my first trip to Yangshuo. True to its pictures, it's exactly as you've seen it. Admittedly, it's no longer a new hotel, and I had some reservations beforehand, as similar-priced hotels in the same category might offer larger, more luxurious options. However, for design enthusiasts, Sugarhouse is special; it's a destination in itself.
My first impression was that the hotel is reasonably well-maintained, and the service is always pleasant and attentive. I always assumed these were standard expectations in such hotels, not worth mentioning. Yet, it wasn't until I truly experienced the various facets of Yangshuo that I realized Sugarhouse is an oasis in this bustling, chaotic, and often less-than-pleasant destination. Yangshuo is beautiful, but its natural charm isn't always enough to offset some disappointing tourist experiences. You might exert a lot of effort trying to soak in the legendary landscapes, only to be left unsatisfied, perhaps due to early mornings or overwhelming crowds. But at Sugarhouse, you can intimately connect with Yangshuo's mountains and rivers, as they are right outside your room, beyond the iconic pool view. During the day, you can fully immerse yourself in nature undisturbed, and as dusk falls, the lights of Impression Liu Sanjie illuminate them, making you a part of the landscape. Finding such tranquility in this destination is incredibly precious, a realization I only had after switching to other hotels.
The service here carries a hint of genuine, endearing awkwardness, and you can sense that achieving this level of service isn't easy. The bartender at 1969 Bar recommended a special concoction when I was indecisive, allowing me to savor the last season's season of loquat gin, which was unforgettable. Lucy at the front desk was incredibly helpful in resolving my issues, and when I pointed out some minor flaws in the room, they were already being addressed – truly tiny details that not everyone would notice, demonstrating their genuine care for guests. I met a gentleman at breakfast who enthusiastically and meticulously introduced me to oil tea and proactively helped me carry it to my upstairs seat when my hands were full. On my departure day, I even saw him standing at the lobby entrance at 36 degrees Celsius, assisting guests. Later, I learned he was the hotel's general manager. The people here are sincere and responsible, and what initially felt like minor imperfections transformed into a stark difference after comparison. I can give the experience here full marks.
Some friends might find it too boring, with too many cars on the highway outside the rooms. But if you've experienced the endless swarm of electric scooters, the ubiquitous paid parking lots, and the so-called villas that cost 3,000 yuan with no view whatsoever, you'll realize that not only is the pricing here quite fair, but it's also almost the only viable accommodation option in Yangshuo. Of course, this is just for reference if you don't plan on venturing out, but Sugarhouse still offers many interesting services that make it a highly recommendable choice.

YangJing318The room was spacious and the location was super convenient. It's really close to Ten-Mile Gallery and Guilin Romance Park. Plus, it's right by West Street but surprisingly quiet. You can easily rent an electric scooter to explore all of Yangshuo! Oh, and the plums at the hotel were delicious 😋. The front desk staff, both the guys and the girls, were incredibly helpful and friendly, giving great recommendations for sightseeing routes. Yangshuo's scenery is just breathtaking!

This hotel may seem unassuming, but it surprisingly features a small pool and a viewing platform with great views of the surroundings. The platform even has a cute setup perfect for taking photos. The breakfast buffet was quite generous, and the first-floor restaurant offered a complimentary late-night dessert buffet. We stayed in a family room with a 1.5m single bed and a 1.8m double bed, and it was decorated very warmly. You can rent electric scooters for 30 or 40 yuan per day, just return them before 11 PM. The staff, from the front desk to the cleaning ladies, were all very enthusiastic, patient, and thoughtful.
