JJack BloomThis was a wonderful honeymoon holiday in the Algarve. Thanks to the wonderful hospitality of the W Algarve staff. They were all so friendly and sharing recommendations on where to visit across the Algarve. The breakfast was delicious too. The hotel gave us a few surprises upon arrival (decorating bed with rose petals, congratulatory messages / writings on the walls and a portugese red wine front Duoro valley. What a great way to start the holiday. Furthermore, the W Algarve were extremely helpful on making lunch/dinner bookings in restaurants across Algarve. It felt like a private Concierge and we were very grateful for it. Hip and Portuguese design. Certainly would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Algarve. MUST have a rental car, there isn't much around within walking distance.

The room we stayed in could do with modernisation - especially the decor and lighting in the bathroom - and the mattress was uncomfortable
The pool area is superb, the breakfast was very good and we will definitely return again - mainly because of the location and the excellent staff!

Location very close to Albufeira and in any case many restaurants and clubs just outside the structure. Beach within walking distance

GGuest UserDefo not a 5 star hotel-very dated and all mouldy seal round bath. All inclusive food not great. We had to leave a credit card copy at check in and told we wouldn’t be charged- but we were charged £100 after getting home so had to ring trip.com to sort it

GGuest UserWas an okay stay. we had ants In our room! However staff sorted this for us into a new room but it just put us off. We enjoyed the €5 cocktails everyday, and the staff were friendly at the bar. Location wise it’s great. Close to strip and €3 into the old town. We were self catering so we can’t comment on the food.

JJenA Cozy Getaway with a Few Quirks
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Block C in a wonderful location near the beach. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our time there, as the bedroom was spacious and beautifully designed. However, there were a few quirks that left us slightly puzzled.
Locating the signage for the establishment proved to be a small challenge, but it added a sense of adventure to our experience.
Unfortunately, the air conditioning in our room left something to be desired. It struggled to keep the temperature comfortably cool, and we often found ourselves feeling a bit hot. It would be great if this aspect could be improved to ensure a more comfortable stay.
Nevertheless, spending evenings on the balcony was a delightfully cozy and relaxed experience. The ambiance was inviting and lent itself to unwinding after a day of exploration. The surrounding garden and environment added to the overall charm, and we truly appreciated the pleasant surroundings.
I highly recommend visiting this place for a minimum stay of 2 to 3 days. Anything less would make the trip feel rushed, as there is so much to explore and enjoy. Despite the minor quirks, our overall experience was enjoyable and memorable. I'm grateful for the opportunity to have stayed here and would gladly return for another visit.
