"Some of the conceirge and front desk workers were useless. One of the conceirge didn’t give me a change and kept told me that he gave me the change. I PROOVE and told him that he need to give it to me. Then he was using translator and be like “what do you want to say to me” wow And front desk boy wasn’t polite at all. Is it so hard to say good bye when check out process is done? He told me to wait and then went away that I had to ask if check out process is all done. And trainee tagged girl saw me that I need a help but she contacted my eye and didn’t even care at all. What a great service However gentleman in a black suits were so kind. They really helped me. Ammenities were poor. No razor no comb Besides that quite alright location and quite a fancy hotel Housekeeping team was so polite and friendly as well. Security guard as well! Irony that front desk and conceirge’s service is poor compare to them. Accomodation is alright But in customer service you guys really need to improve"

"Honestly, just book it. Best stay ever! 🙌✨ I’m on such a high from our stay at Vela Dhi Glow Pratunam that I just had to shout it from the rooftops. If you’re heading to Bangkok, seriously, look no further. This place is an absolute gem. First of all, the reception staff? Total rockstars. From the moment we checked in, they treated us like royalty but with the warmest, most genuine vibes. They are SO good at actually listening to guest requests and making things happen without any fuss. Right from the start, they hit us with their amazing amenities—specifically, their unlimited fresh welcome drink. Trust me, after walking around in the Bangkok heat, walking into that lobby and having access to that delicious, ice-cold drink is easily one of the best perks ever. It instantly refreshed us every single time. The real game-changing moment, though, was on our last day. We wanted to do one massive, final shopping run before leaving, and the staff didn't even blink when we asked them to hold onto all of our heavy luggage. Because of them, my wife and I got to tear through the malls completely hands-free without dragging bags around. It made the whole day so much fun instead of a logistics nightmare. The hotel itself is just stunning and everything feels super fresh and modern. Also, a random but massive plus: their ironing service is incredible. My clothes were looking pretty sad and wrinkled from the suitcase, but they got everything looking crisp and perfect so fast. It’s rare to find a hotel where the staff genuinely seems to care about your trip, but these guys nailed it. Huge thank you to the team—you guys made our trip fantastic."

"I chose to stay here mainly to visit the King Power Mahanakhon building. The hotel is right next to the MRT station, and directly across from King Power Mahanakhon itself. The ticket prices have gone up; it's now 1100 THB for a non-sunset ticket and 1200 THB for a sunset ticket, which is sold after 4:30 PM. Previously, non-sunset tickets were 888 THB and sunset tickets were 1088 THB. If you want to experience Bangkok's city views and nightlife, I highly recommend staying here. There's also a small alley nearby with convenient dining options, and Patpong Night Market (which is essentially the heart of Silom) is just a few hundred meters away. The room was decent. The rooms facing the road have balconies and double-glazed windows, so there's absolutely no noise. Definitely recommended!"

Amazing
GGenzhuoxiaoliqulvxingThe room was okay, but the amenities felt a bit old. The lobby, however, was absolutely beautiful, and the breakfast was incredibly rich and delicious. The location is very convenient, with lots of shopping malls nearby. My only dissatisfaction was that I left a tip for the housekeeping staff to fold towel animals, but when I returned, the tip was gone, and no towel animals were folded for us. I was extremely, extremely disappointed! For those planning to visit the Erawan Shrine, I highly recommend staying here. Though, there are some newly built hotels nearby that offer better prices. Still, I'd suggest coming here for afternoon tea; the lobby on the first floor is just too stunning, and I took so many photos. It would be even better if the room amenities could be upgraded, for example, changing the hairdryer to a Dyson and the toilet to a washlet, which would greatly enhance the experience.

LleekuoThe location is absolutely fantastic, right above Central World shopping mall. To get there, take the BTS to Chit Lom station, walk along the skywalk directly into the mall, then take the mall escalator up to the 7th-floor food court. From there, find the supermarket on the same floor, and then locate the supermarket's exit to the parking lot. Outside this exit, you'll see an elevator specifically for transferring to the hotel. Take this elevator up to the 23rd floor, and you'll arrive at the hotel lobby! During your stay, you'll receive a welcome drink voucher for the Red Sky bar on the top floor, and each room also gets a daily 500 Thai Baht dining credit that can be used at several of the hotel's restaurants. The room itself is spacious, comfortable, and has excellent soundproofing. It was also cleaned spotlessly every day. I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next trip to Bangkok!

DDitiaodexiaoxieeThe room was clean and tidy. While it might not have the luxurious feel of hotels back home, my four-day stay here was incredibly comfortable. I really have to thank and praise the hotel staff. The moment I entered the lobby, I left my suitcase next to the sofa to pop over to the 7-Eleven across the street. When I came back, my luggage was gone. The entire hotel staff helped me search for it, especially the Chinese-speaking female attendant, who was incredibly dedicated and responsible. I'm very grateful for the hotel's assistance. The lobby manager was also excellent, giving me a bottle of water every time I left. The hotel's location downstairs is also very convenient, with massage places on both the left and right sides, and they're much better than those in the commercial district. From now on, this will be my home in Bangkok! The staff even folded an elephant out of towels for me, which was absolutely adorable. A very satisfying stay and a very satisfying experience.

WWoaizhaolaoshiFacilities: The room is clearly well-maintained with an old-money charm, exactly the vacation vibe I was looking for. Cleanliness: The bathroom and floor were spotless, not a single hair found. The bedding was also incredibly clean. A big thank you to the housekeeping staff for their efforts. Environment: It's about a 10-minute walk to the subway station, which I found perfectly fine. Since I booked the club lounge, my main focus was to enjoy the hotel, gym, and pool. Service: I arrived quite late, but the staff courteously brought my luggage to the room. During check-in, I was offered a welcome tea and towel, which instantly melted away my travel fatigue. I truly felt at home!

GGuest UserThe hotel service is excellent, with a complimentary shuttle boat to the Sathorn pier. If you want to go to ICONSIAM, it's only 12 baht, with round trips every hour, which is very convenient. There's a Ferris wheel night market nearby that's great for strolling around. The hotel provides tuk-tuks to take you to the night market anytime, allowing you to enjoy it as much as you like. The hotel's location is superb, making it easy to get anywhere. They offer airport pick-up and drop-off services; booking these in advance yourself is much cheaper than booking a taxi online. The hotel staff are very welcoming, and I had a very comfortable stay. If it's your birthday, the hotel even provides a small complimentary birthday cake. Exploring the night market and taking a cruise on the Chao Phraya River at night was a wonderful travel experience.

GGuest UserOn my first day, the Wi-Fi kept disconnecting every three minutes, which was incredibly frustrating for a business trip. I couldn't even prepare documents for clients. I repeatedly contacted the platform and the hotel front desk, and their solution was always to restart, restart, restart. Eventually, I had no choice but to inform the hotel and platform that I needed to cancel my remaining six nights. I was then told the hotel had no cancellation policy. But the hotel advertises Wi-Fi on the platform, and this is the kind of Wi-Fi they offer! Later, a telecom employee came and replaced the router, and only then did the internet work normally. Another issue was on the 27th, when they were repairing water pipes. There was construction noise early in the morning, and then the water was shut off during the day. On the positive side: the hotel is relatively clean and hygienic, the lobby is large, and there are many international guests, including people from India, Southeast Asia, and European backpackers. For 485 RMB a night, I can only say that with this standard, I feel I could find much better options next time.

GGuest UserAddressed to Jon Warmington, the General Manager I recently stayed at Grand Mercure Bangkok Atrium room 842 from 27 May to 1 June and would like to share some feedback regarding my experience. First and foremost, I would like to emphasize that I genuinely enjoyed my stay. The hotel, facilities, and the majority of the team members provided excellent service, and overall I had a pleasant experience. In fact, I am not the type of guest who frequently raises complaints. During my travels, I spend very little time in my hotel room. Most of my day is spent outside the property, and my interaction with the hotel is generally limited to breakfast and sleeping. As such, it takes a significant issue for me to feel compelled to formally raise a concern. The first issue relates to breakfast. During my stay, I invited a Muslim friend to join me for breakfast. He entered the restaurant with me but did not consume any food because he was unable to find suitable options that met his dietary requirements. While I acknowledge that I did not raise this directly with the restaurant team at the time, I was surprised when Reception later informed me that they had verified that my friend had taken breakfast. From my perspective, entering the restaurant should not automatically be considered as consuming breakfast when no food was actually taken. Nevertheless, I have decided to let this matter rest and move on. The second issue is far more serious and is the primary reason for this email. On my final night at the hotel, I was expecting a visitor. However, Reception did not contact me to verify whether I was expecting anyone before allowing my visitor access to the guest floors. Instead, my visitor was simply directed to my room and arrived at my door unannounced. Having worked within the Accor group for approximately 15 years as a Duty Manager in Singapore, I am very familiar with hotel operational procedures, guest privacy standards, and security protocols. It has always been my understanding that when a visitor arrives for an in-house guest, Reception should first contact the guest to obtain authorization before granting access to the room floors. While my visitor was indeed expected on this occasion, Reception had no way of knowing that without contacting me first. Had the visitor not been known to me, this could have resulted in a serious security and privacy issue. In my professional opinion, allowing a visitor direct access to a guest room without prior verification is unacceptable and falls short of the standards expected from an Accor property. What further disappointed me was the handling of the matter after I raised my concern. I wish to be clear that I am not seeking compensation of any kind. My concern is not financial. Rather, I expect an appropriate resolution and acknowledgement of the seriousness of the issue. Simply being told ”sorry” was not sufficient given the nature of the security lapse. The alternatives presented to me by the Night Manager were also, in my view, unreasonable. One option was for me to move to another room on my final night. Considering that I was due to check out the following morning, I found this solution impractical and disruptive. Being asked to pack my belongings and relocate because of an issue that was not caused by me did not seem to be an appropriate resolution. I was also informed that a Reception Manager would speak with me. However, I was unable to wait indefinitely for the manager's arrival. As a guest who was raising a legitimate concern, I do not believe I should have been expected to delay my evening plans or remain available for an uncertain period of time. Furthermore, I was scheduled to leave the hotel at 7:00 AM the next morning in order to arrive at the airport early for my flight. For these reasons, I felt that the issue was not properly addressed during my stay, which is why I am bringing it directly to your attention. I am raising this matter not only as a guest but also
