"The room is not too bad for the price, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. However, the bathroom had a strong sewage smell, and it seemed like the exhaust wasn’t working properly. There’s also no window for ventilation in the bathroom, and I noticed cobwebs in both the room and the bathroom. The location is decent, with restaurants nearby, which is convenient."

"Hotel location is pretty good, very close to BTS station, eat and buy are everywhere. Hotel amenities are quite old, each floor have each color theme, 6F is purple pink and 5F is green as far as I know. Anyway, style perference is depends, not everyone buy it. The bed is comfortable. Its strange that the glass door of shower room was removed intentionally, water will splash outside easily in such way. Finally, the pool is too small."

Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok

9.5/10
Amazing

The room was okay, but the amenities felt a bit old. The lobby, however, was absolutely beautiful, and the breakfast was incredibly rich and delicious. The location is very convenient, with lots of shopping malls nearby. My only dissatisfaction was that I left a tip for the housekeeping staff to fold towel animals, but when I returned, the tip was gone, and no towel animals were folded for us. I was extremely, extremely disappointed! For those planning to visit the Erawan Shrine, I highly recommend staying here. Though, there are some newly built hotels nearby that offer better prices. Still, I'd suggest coming here for afternoon tea; the lobby on the first floor is just too stunning, and I took so many photos. It would be even better if the room amenities could be upgraded, for example, changing the hairdryer to a Dyson and the toilet to a washlet, which would greatly enhance the experience.

This hotel is right in the city center, just below Central World, and very close to the Erawan Shrine. There's also a Big C supermarket across the street. The air conditioning in the room was a bit noisy. When you check in, you can go to the rooftop for a drink, and the view from the rooftop is absolutely stunning. There's even an elevator directly from the hotel that takes you to the seventh floor of the mall, which is incredibly convenient.

This hotel offers great value for money 🏨, and the service is excellent. The front desk and staff are very welcoming and patiently answer any questions. The rooms are cleaned daily and kept tidy, and amenities are replenished promptly. It's very close to the BTS station, making public transportation convenient. We took the BTS twice, but mostly relied on Grab for taxis. It's a bit far from older attractions like the Grand Palace. We didn't book breakfast this time, but the hotel front desk has complimentary green apples 🍏 available all day, and you can also get bottled water from the front desk before heading out. Overall, we're satisfied. Marriott is right next door.

The Banyan Tree Bangkok truly lives up to its reputation as a luxurious hotel. From the moment we stepped in, the staff's service was impeccable and attentive to every detail. We were greeted with fragrant wristbands and delicious roasted pumpkin, and our room was incredibly comfortable and beautiful. It offers great value for money, and if they have special offers again, I will definitely choose to stay here on my next trip to Bangkok. It's a fantastic choice.

Traveling with family for Chinese New Year, the location is excellent, right near Terminal 21. There's a small night market across the street with good food; one fried rice stall has amazing 'wok hei' ( smoky, charred flavor). The hotel breakfast is also great with a wide variety, and the rooms are quite spacious. Overall, it's pretty good value for money. Just to the left of the hotel entrance is the famous Cabbages & Condoms restaurant, which gets really busy at night.

This was my first time staying at a riverside hotel. After 5 nights in the city center, we moved here for two nights. The website mentioned a shuttle boat service from the pier near the subway station to the hotel. However, there were no signs at the pier indicating where to catch the hotel's shuttle. There was just a big guy sitting there, so I took a chance and asked him. He told us to just wait there, and a boat would come every half hour. After waiting for nearly 40 minutes, a hotel staff member approached us to say there was no boat and drove us to the hotel instead. Apparently, there's a two-hour lunch break in the middle of the day when no boats operate. This information should have been clearly stated on the website. Having to wait in such hot weather, just the experience of getting to the hotel was already quite frustrating. Fortunately, after checking in and getting to our room, the impression was quite good. The room was spacious, clean, and tidy, with river and pool views, which immediately lifted my spirits. We had breakfast at the hotel both mornings, and it was alright. On checkout day, there was a boat available, shuttling us back to the subway station pier. At least we got to cruise along the Chao Phraya River, concluding our trip to Thailand.

Addressed to Jon Warmington, the General Manager I recently stayed at Grand Mercure Bangkok Atrium room 842 from 27 May to 1 June and would like to share some feedback regarding my experience. First and foremost, I would like to emphasize that I genuinely enjoyed my stay. The hotel, facilities, and the majority of the team members provided excellent service, and overall I had a pleasant experience. In fact, I am not the type of guest who frequently raises complaints. During my travels, I spend very little time in my hotel room. Most of my day is spent outside the property, and my interaction with the hotel is generally limited to breakfast and sleeping. As such, it takes a significant issue for me to feel compelled to formally raise a concern. The first issue relates to breakfast. During my stay, I invited a Muslim friend to join me for breakfast. He entered the restaurant with me but did not consume any food because he was unable to find suitable options that met his dietary requirements. While I acknowledge that I did not raise this directly with the restaurant team at the time, I was surprised when Reception later informed me that they had verified that my friend had taken breakfast. From my perspective, entering the restaurant should not automatically be considered as consuming breakfast when no food was actually taken. Nevertheless, I have decided to let this matter rest and move on. The second issue is far more serious and is the primary reason for this email. On my final night at the hotel, I was expecting a visitor. However, Reception did not contact me to verify whether I was expecting anyone before allowing my visitor access to the guest floors. Instead, my visitor was simply directed to my room and arrived at my door unannounced. Having worked within the Accor group for approximately 15 years as a Duty Manager in Singapore, I am very familiar with hotel operational procedures, guest privacy standards, and security protocols. It has always been my understanding that when a visitor arrives for an in-house guest, Reception should first contact the guest to obtain authorization before granting access to the room floors. While my visitor was indeed expected on this occasion, Reception had no way of knowing that without contacting me first. Had the visitor not been known to me, this could have resulted in a serious security and privacy issue. In my professional opinion, allowing a visitor direct access to a guest room without prior verification is unacceptable and falls short of the standards expected from an Accor property. What further disappointed me was the handling of the matter after I raised my concern. I wish to be clear that I am not seeking compensation of any kind. My concern is not financial. Rather, I expect an appropriate resolution and acknowledgement of the seriousness of the issue. Simply being told ”sorry” was not sufficient given the nature of the security lapse. The alternatives presented to me by the Night Manager were also, in my view, unreasonable. One option was for me to move to another room on my final night. Considering that I was due to check out the following morning, I found this solution impractical and disruptive. Being asked to pack my belongings and relocate because of an issue that was not caused by me did not seem to be an appropriate resolution. I was also informed that a Reception Manager would speak with me. However, I was unable to wait indefinitely for the manager's arrival. As a guest who was raising a legitimate concern, I do not believe I should have been expected to delay my evening plans or remain available for an uncertain period of time. Furthermore, I was scheduled to leave the hotel at 7:00 AM the next morning in order to arrive at the airport early for my flight. For these reasons, I felt that the issue was not properly addressed during my stay, which is why I am bringing it directly to your attention. I am raising this matter not only as a guest but also

## Environment: Booked a room with a balcony and was assigned to the 29th floor. The views were expansive, and there was a drying rack for clothes. ## Facilities: The room featured a king-size bed and a smart TV with access to YouTube and Netflix. There was also a mini-kitchen equipped with cookware, dish soap, and plates. ## Amenities: There are two 7-Elevens nearby, but the hotel is quite a distance from the BTS station. ## Bathroom: The water pressure was strong, with consistent hot and cold water temperatures. ## Only Downsides: Every day after 9 AM, whether it was hotel renovations or something else, the 30th floor above me would start construction, which was incredibly noisy. This happened for all three nights of my stay. Additionally, the swimming pool was under maintenance and closed.
