"Front desk at reception was exceptionally accommodating. When I arrived I needed help finding a restaurant where I could get dinner take-out. Lee, the manager, pulled up a restaurant he recommended and helped me order dinner. When I inquired about the availability of breakfast before my early a.m. departure to the airport he left breakfast for me at the reception desk. Thank you Lee for your care and friendly service - you are clearly a special man! Room was clean and recently renovated so it was very pleasant. One recommendation - shower floor was very slippery. Could add something to the floor to give a more secure shower experience."

"We booked a one night stay at Ramada Downtown Spokane 1/1-1/2/26. We checked into #336 and the room seemed fine until we tried to use the hot water to wash and found there wasn’t any at our sink nor in the shower. I immediately called the front desk and explained the problem. Gabriella was apologetic and moved us to another room #313, we packed up our stuff and Moved to the new room. Because of the problem with the first room, I immediately tried the water in the new room. I let it run for about 5 minutes and it remained cool. I turned on the shower and only a small trickle came out. So I went back downstairs to talk to Gabriella. She again moved us to another room, this time on the 2nd floor #211. It was about 9:00 pm and we were tired from driving all day. When I got to the room, both the sink and tub had standing water in them— obviously a drainage problem. This was the third room and we were not interested in seeing any more rooms. We asked Gabriella for a refund as we weren’t going to be able to stay there after 3 attempts to get an adequate room. She said she was not allowed to make refunds and gave me your email. So I’m writing to you for a refund of our room payment and the deposit. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. We had to book another hotel in Spokane for more money, because Ramada didn’t resolve the problem despite 3 opportunities to do so. — This email was originally sent to Jodi the manager yesterday, but we have received no response whatsoever."

"The room is quite good, large in size, new facilities and full of modern atmosphere. The breakfast variety is also more abundant, and the fruits include a mixed platter of cut grapes, blueberries and strawberries for self-service. However, the room assigned to us was not a city view room, but the other side. As a result, the noise of the cars was too loud at night and we couldn't sleep well. We asked to change rooms, but there were no vacancies, so we just had to make do with it for one night."

"The hotel is nice, but the most unsatisfactory thing is that I booked these two rooms on Ctrip.com, and the hotel actually charged an additional booking fee of more than 20 yuan for each room. This is the first time I have encountered this when booking a hotel online. With this calculation, booking this hotel on Ctrip.com is more expensive than booking on the spot, and you need to pay in advance, and it is not refundable."

"Clean and tidy, breakfast is rich, close to the waterfront. When I checked out in the morning, I forgot to take a key card. I have walked away for four or five hundred kilometers. Later, I called them through Trip.com and told them that I forgot to take a key card. The hotel told me that I didn’t need to send it back or deduct my pre-authorization fee. It’s great."

"We loved the Marianna Stoltz House! We visit family in Spokane on a regular basis and usually stay in hotels. This was a wonderful alternative which we'll continue going forward. The remodel is beautiful, Holland is so friendly and helpful, we loved our "rose" room, breakfast was a delicious delight, and it is in an excellent and quiet location, and easy to get around town. We were in awe and highly recommend staying at ths B & B."
