GGuest UserThis trip to Lijiang was originally planned with only two days of accommodation at a guesthouse near the Old Town. However, I stumbled upon Huanyibi Cottage on Ctrip and was immediately captivated. So, I cut back on my Dali itinerary and squeezed in a day to visit. My partner, two children, and I all absolutely loved it. The mountain road was winding and bumpy, but we arrived before dark to witness the colorful sunset. As night fell, we sat on the viewing platform, enjoying the evening breeze and sipping hot tea, taking in the breathtaking night view of Lashi Lake. Looking up at the starry sky, I felt completely relaxed and happy. The next day, I could see the sea of ​​clouds and the sunrise from my bed. After the sun rose, the thick fog dissipated, revealing the distant Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. The facilities on the mountain were limited, but the breakfast was simple yet exquisite: congee, homemade side dishes, and a few crispy fried dough sticks—surprisingly delicious. After breakfast, watching my two children and the Pomeranian brought by the guests chasing and playing in the yard instantly transported me back to my childhood—relaxed, carefree, and unrestrained. Some rooms allow guests to cook their own meals, or they can choose to join the staff in cooking and eating together in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, like family. I heard the guesthouse took seven months to build, and deep within it, you can feel the owner's care and taste in every piece of wood, every object, every bedding item, and every furnishing. I look forward to returning to Cloud Cottage with my family next year, staying for a few more days to fully experience this idyllic lifestyle and enjoy a few days of blissful bliss in this paradise on earth.

YyeeaunThe B&B is located in Yuhu Village. Four of us stayed there for three nights. It's close to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and a taxi ride to Baisha Ancient Town. Shuhe Ancient Town is also nearby, and you can enjoy horseback riding around the village and experience the Ancient Tea Horse Road. The owner and his wife are kind and helpful, and you can ask them anything you need. I remember arriving at the B&B at 8 p.m. on our first day, and the owner's wife was waiting for us to help us take our luggage up to our room. That evening, when we walked out for dinner, it started raining, and the owner personally drove out to pick us up, so we wouldn't get wet. It was truly heartwarming. You can enjoy horseback riding and take photos at the foot of the snow-capped mountains within walking distance, which is truly photogenic. There are also some popular cafes near the B&B for photo opportunities. The owner and his wife also introduced us to attractions, taught us how to buy tickets, and recommended restaurants and cafes. They even helped us secure tickets for the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Cable Car and treated us to drinks the night we secured them, but unfortunately, we couldn't get any. If you're looking for a quiet and relaxing stay away from the crowds, this is a great place to avoid the noise and crowds. The owner and his family are truly wonderful.

JJarref86What a super nice hostel. It is located around 5km away from lijiang railway station with didi cost around 16 yuan. Amazing hostel with amazing host. It is so cozy and super clean at the same time. Rooftop is a plus feature. From here you can see the view of jade dragon snow mountain. It is a hostel type accommodation with a really good price. They also got 3 super cute cats on the reception area. Love them all!!! I ll definitely revisit this property again next time. If you are looking for private tour with the host, please approach them as they offer such a flexible road trip or tour around lijiang, dali and shangrila.

The rooms are very clean and modern, with a heated mirror so steam won’t block your view and a heater for colder mornings. The hotel itself is lovely, with a traditional atmosphere. The property has two sweet dogs, too :) We had a great time, I wish I could bring my family next time! ＜3

Ssouvenir777We drove along the Tiger Leaping Gorge all the way to Daju Township. We turned the wrong way on a small road in the fields and accidentally fell into a ditch. Thanks to the help of the owner, we were able to get the car out. The owner and his wife saw that I was alone and invited me to have dinner with them. The food was very homely and delicious. The environment of the B&B is very good. There is a large field of sunflowers in front of the door🌻, a large swimming pool in the yard, and you can sit and watch the snow-capped mountains. It is really a place to relax and unwind. Sitting quietly and watching the scenery will make you feel better. The only thing is that the water pressure and temperature of the shower in the room are not enough, and the drainage is not very good. I hope it can be improved.

VVousqinqinI highly recommend this inn. I have been thinking about it since I first checked in. I have never spent so much time writing a review, but I want to say that the inn is really worth it. First of all, the boss is warm and generous. He only arrived at 12 o'clock in the evening. He asked me if I had dinner and wanted to share a small cake with me. He also took the initiative to help me with my luggage and gave me a down jacket to wear. He was afraid that I would get cold. He was really considerate. , and also, when I checked out, it was timed out, and the boss said it was okay, don’t worry, hahahaha, the people are really nice! Secondly, in terms of facilities and equipment, the room is super large, with a modern log style, a super large projector, and floor-to-ceiling windows. Of course, what impressed me the most was that the sink, toilet, and shower room are all arranged side by side and can be used separately when there are many people. It is very convenient. It can be seen that a lot of thought has been put into the decoration and great attention to detail. Finally, in terms of location, the parking lot is right next to the hotel, within 100 meters away, which is very convenient. You can enter the ancient city on the right side of the hotel gate, and the location is excellent. All in all, it was a perfect experience. I will recommend this hotel to my friends next time.

YYuslaini AzmiStay less than 24 hours there so my experience must not enough to describe fully the service. When I was arrive there the receptionist seems close already, I try contact via Trip.com but it linked to phone hotel which its difficult for me to call the owner as mostly thehy can't speak in English. I hope the owner makes initiative to answer guest that booking via third party like Agoda or Trip.com so it will be easier for me. The room I book not provided aircond and no showercap or basic toiletries given, usually hoteel.provide like tooth brush, tooth paste but nothing was there maybe they forgot to replenish I don't know as I also check in late around 9pm. Overall , its a strategic locstion for those who want to catch up train early morning because the hotel location just like 400m away from Ljiang railway station (high speed train)

GGuest UserIt's clean, tidy and cool. It's not noisy at night. You can see the sunrise in the morning. It should be opened by local residents. The boss is very warm and friendly. He is very active in helping us carry our luggage and takes us to Lijiang Station in the early morning.

JJotangIt's a short walk to a small beautiful authentic old town. We reached early but the reception will only be open from 1pm as she's sleeping so we went out for a walk until check in time. When we needed something n went to reception in later afternoon, we're told she's napping again. Seems like she sleeps alot. But our room has beautiful view of yulong snow Mountain ❤️🤩

AAnonymous UserThe room was on the second floor, with a huge window facing Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. There were ample tables, chairs, and cabinets, and the space was ample. It was much more cost-effective than the ordinary twin room downstairs the night before. There were also several large tables and chairs outside the door for guests' convenience. Although there was a washing machine in the bathroom, it wasn't working due to complaints about the noise. There was a washing machine on the third floor, but it was only available before 10 PM. During the day, it was mostly used by the owner. There were only two small drying racks for tourists, and the number of hangers was limited. Drying clothes indoors on the third floor during the rainy season was difficult, but it was very convenient for taking photos of the snow-capped mountains. It was better than those so-called free viewpoints in the ancient town. It's only a 10-minute walk from Baisha Ancient Town, very close and quiet. The village lanes are narrow, though, so two cars can't pass side by side.
