GGuest UserBefore check-in, housekeeper Winnie contacted us and arranged the room perfectly. During our stay, any requests we had were promptly addressed by Winnie, though relaying them to housekeeping for delivery to the room often took some time, and housekeeping frequently missed items we asked for. The turndown service felt quite perfunctory; the duvet was just casually folded, and while the trash was emptied, it was easy to miss the service altogether. The breakfast selection was excellent, but we could never get a sunken seat as they were always 'reserved'. This was the first hotel I've encountered where you need to reserve a spot for breakfast. The most satisfying aspect of our stay was the staff by the pool and on the beach. A staff member in a blue uniform noticed I couldn't swim and proactively brought me a swim ring, and a mermaid-themed one at that, which was great for photos – their attentiveness truly deserves praise. When my child injured a toe while playing in the sand, the staff member on duty at the beach replenishment station immediately ran to the pool area to get disinfectant swabs and a band-aid for me without a second thought. This level of service perfectly matches the hotel's positioning. My only complaint is the takeaway delivery service to the room. You really need to mentally prepare for a wait of at least half an hour. I understand that the delivery cabinet might be far or they might be short-staffed, but it would be better to inform guests upfront or simply cancel the service rather than having us eat cold food.

The entire experience was flawless, so I have to write a heartfelt review and strongly recommend it to all families with kids! **Brand New Hotel, Top-Notch Quality** The hotel is sparkling new and clean, with a modern and luxurious design. There's absolutely no new-decoration smell. From the lobby to the rooms, every detail is exquisitely crafted. The blue and white ocean theme is incredibly soothing and perfect for photos! The facilities, bedding, and bathroom amenities are all premium brands, making for a comfortable and reassuring stay. **Excellent Child-Friendly Details, Stress-Free Parenting** Truly designed for young children! * All wall and table corners are protected with anti-collision strips, so kids can run around barefoot without worrying about bumps. * There are different themed parent-child activities every day: crafts, story time, beach games, and mini-classes – the kids were fully engaged throughout. * A kids' pool, children's play area, and all essential parent-child amenities are available. Best of all, it shares the same beautiful bay views as the ultra-luxurious Capella Hotel, which is right next door! You get to enjoy Capella-level sea views and beaches at an affordable price – the value for money is incredible. Watching the sunset and collecting seashells by the sea in the evening was so relaxing and enjoyable! For a family vacation in Hainan, you can't go wrong with this hotel. WWomenshixingfudexiaoliangkouOur summer vacation in Hainan has come to an end. Honestly, if I were to rate this stay purely on the hotel's overall operational standards, I'd have to give it a 'fail'. However, seeing the satisfied smiles on my family's faces, I feel the trip wasn't a total loss. As a returning guest, I'm writing this review because I care deeply about this place, and that's why I'm being so critical. Let's start with the warm highlights. The Chinese restaurant maintained its high standards, offering both delicious dishes and reassuring service. Special thanks to Chef He and Sister Sue; they weren't just professional but also provided truly warm service. Catching up with them is always pleasant and fun. Luna, the cultural tourism officer, was incredibly hardworking, diligent, and had an excellent attitude, consistently providing warm and thoughtful service during our stay. And the housekeeping auntie in our room, who silently guarded our private space with remarkable efficiency and impeccable cleanliness. It's these shining individuals who truly embody the meaning of 'Welcome Home' (Jia, the hotel's name). However, the shortcomings exposed during this stay were equally glaring, even somewhat disappointing. Firstly, the concierge service: sometimes staff were too busy chatting to offer timely assistance to ladies and children. There were communication issues at the front desk; the duty manager seemed unable to identify problems and lacked proactivity and professionalism. The breakfast restaurant's overall efficiency was low, and staff seemed to have a 'going through the motions' attitude. Compared to before, they were less enthusiastic about recommending specialty drinks, etc. I'd suggest they take a leaf out of the Edition's restaurant book when it comes to work efficiency. Furthermore, the kids' summer camp organized by the recreation department was a mess in terms of reservations and procedures, completely disregarding the genuine needs of children who wished to participate multiple times. The Thai restaurant's taste was significantly worse than before, with awkward, unauthentic modifications and sour, astringent dessert toppings. The safety hazard of engineering staff driving electric carts without 'giving way to pedestrians' was truly alarming. And when the lounge's live music was quietly canceled, that signature Capella evening ambiance also faded considerably. Capella Hainan once planted so many beautiful memories in our hearts, which is why we're so bothered by these flaws now. We're willing to lay out these issues because deep down, we still have hope for this place. We sincerely hope the hotel addresses these pain points and doesn't continue to 'lie flat'. We look forward to seeing your progress and a refreshed, more confident Capella Hainan during our next reunion.

GGuest UserFinally made it to the legendary Aloha Hotel, touted as Lingshui's ultimate family-friendly accommodation, and it certainly lives up to its reputation. The oceanfront room offered breathtaking, pristine sea views with the sun glistening on the water – photos truly don't do it justice. The room itself was well-equipped, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable; I slept so well I felt completely refreshed. My little one didn't want to leave the bathtub, so I joined in for a bit too, enjoying the sea breeze – it was truly relaxing. We initially planned to stay just one night before moving on, but we spontaneously decided to extend our stay for two more days. We'll definitely be back to this hotel on our next visit to Lingshui.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel's exterior was decent, and breakfast was quite good. However, there were many missing service details. Overall, the best part was the greeter at the entrance of the breakfast restaurant; for both days I was there, they always enthusiastically greeted me from afar. Next best was the security guard at the entrance, who always helped with luggage when I arrived and left. 1. During check-in, the front desk asked if I was a registered member and I wrote my membership number on the registration form. However, when I casually asked at check-out, I was told it hadn't been added to the system. 2. In the first room, there were used tissues left by a previous guest in the drawer, and hair on the sofa. 3. The upgraded new room had noticeable stains on the bedroom curtains, and the power outlet on the desk was broken. 4. When the staff first showed me the new room, there was a welcome fruit platter on the desk, but by the time I moved in, the fruit was gone. It's not about missing a fruit platter; it's that there could have been other ways to handle it better instead of being so obvious. 5. On the first day, a young, slightly overweight male chef at the noodle station in the breakfast restaurant had a very cold face and poor attitude. When I asked him for Hainanese noodles and spoke to him, he remained silent throughout, didn't respond at all, and his movements were very abrupt, as if he was about to throw things. 6. Food deliveries weren't allowed, and there were no robots. Staying in the last building meant walking all the way to the lobby myself, which was very far. Since it wasn't a food delivery, I later asked staff for help and they reluctantly agreed to deliver it, but it took nearly 50 minutes to arrive.

GGuest UserI stayed in Lingshui, Hainan for five days and have been at this hotel the whole time. Parking is super convenient – no need to scan a QR code every time I leave. On the last day, I spontaneously added another night, and the front desk lady upgraded our room, which had an amazing view. The staff were all great; hotel personnel even delivered our takeout. We brought our baby, and it was very quiet. The hotel cleaning staff tidied our room beautifully every day. Our room was very close to the sea and had no strange smells. When we checked out, a gentleman in the lobby noticed I hadn't eaten yet. He specifically called the restaurant to confirm they were still serving and asked if we wanted to eat before leaving, which was incredibly thoughtful ☺️. The room views are fantastic, the beach is spotless, and the pool is very well maintained with no debris.
