-Everything cost so much money, especially food. 98RMB for a bowl of noodles for example.
-Way out of town, meaning food delivery was very limited
-Many amenities cost extra, like using a pool toy was 30RMB for example
-No swimming in the beach.
Overall, we ended up cutting our stay short due to the sheer cost of everything extra. The hotel itself was amazing, but the prices and inconvenience of food and play were a bit too much to stay for a week."

From the moment you enter the hotel area, you will feel that it is a relatively independent and private environment. The overall decoration is very stylish. I heard from the housekeeper that this is the owner's own house, so the decoration design and materials are very carefully selected. It is very different from other B&Bs that are rented out.
The housekeeper contacted us by phone shortly after we placed the order. We booked the cheapest price and upgraded it when we checked in. Any questions during the stay were responded to in a timely manner. The overall service experience was great~
Before coming here, I was worried about whether it would be inconvenient to eat, but when I arrived, I found that my worries were completely unnecessary. The hotel provided a Hainan-style rice noodle breakfast, which was simple but fully met the needs. There was also Hainan-style afternoon tea. If you want to dine in the hotel, you can also make a reservation in advance with the butler. In general, during the stay, you can fully meet various needs without leaving the hotel, and the experience is not inferior to that of a high-star hotel!
When I checked in, I saw models taking photos. The housekeeper told me that they also had some water sports experiences. Unfortunately, we didn’t have enough time this time, so I’ll just leave it for next time. I’ll definitely come again if I have the chance!

GGuest UserThe main reason for booking Raffles Clearwater Bay was to check in the same hotel and lighthouse as her disappearance. The housekeeper Diana contacted in advance to inquire about the needs and arranged a sea view room with a view of the lighthouse. The hotel occupies the C position of the entire Clearwater Bay. The sand is fine and the outdoor swimming pool is also great. At the nightfall ceremony, I quietly listened to the piano and singing with cocktails. I booked a travel photography and the photo retoucher's skills were amazing. The beach barbecue hot pot dinner was booked. The grilled lobster and grilled durian were delicious. The other various ingredients were also rich and fresh. Although it was forced to be interrupted due to sudden heavy rain, the hotel refunded the full amount. During the stay, the hotel staff took the initiative to smile and greet, making people feel at home. I also thank Diana for her meticulous service during the stay. Next time I come to Hainan, I will continue to choose Raffles

GGuest UserI usually don’t write reviews, but the exceptional service at Sangem Moon Hotel truly deserves one. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warmth and professionalism of every single staff member. Their friendliness and genuine care make you feel right at home.
The hotel itself is immaculate, with spotless rooms and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. However, what truly sets this hotel apart is the outstanding service.
A special mention to my butler, Chase, who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. Whether it was recommending places to visit or attending to every little detail in my room, he handled everything with professionalism and care. There was nothing he couldn’t do!
I’d also like to thank Mori, the reception duty manager, for her excellent service. She speaks great English and took such good care of us, making everything smooth and effortless.
Another person I’d like to praise is 符阿姨 from housekeeping. She cleaned my room so thoroughly—you can tell she takes her job seriously. She mopped the floor, made everything perfectly organised, and ensured the room was spotless every single day.
I also have to commend the hotel management for training their staff so well. The level of professionalism and dedication from every team member is truly impressive.
I know people sometimes get tired of overly positive reviews that sound too good to be true, but this is a real review from a real guest. The service here is genuinely exceptional, and you can feel the sincerity in how they treat their guests. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserIn August, an influencer's video piqued my interest, prompting me to book a 'blind box' hotel experience – which turned out to be the Indigo Lingshui Qingshui Bay.
The hotel's public areas are absolutely stunning and seem tailor-made for women, with picturesque views at every turn, beautifully blending sophistication and elegance. It's the kind of place where you'll want to get creative, striking various poses for photos, to truly make the most of your visit.
The in-room amenities at the Indigo definitely justify the price point. This made my subsequent stay at Atlantis feel incredibly underwhelming by comparison, proving that IHG properties truly are exceptional.
However, the hotel's service was undoubtedly the biggest highlight of this stay. Anna from Guest Relations contacted me a day in advance and meticulously arranged everything according to our needs. She even pre-booked activities for the children upon our arrival, ensuring a smooth check-in and a seamless transition directly into our planned activities. When traveling, time is of the essence, and having every minute utilized so perfectly was truly amazing. Coincidentally, our stay happened to coincide with a birthday, and Anna thoughtfully prepared a small cake for us, which was a delightful surprise. Having Anna on hand just gave us such a reassuring feeling – you know the one.
I truly hope Indigo continues to refine its offerings, giving me full confidence for my next Sanya trip!

PPuyouzhenI'd seen some less-than-stellar reviews online before checking in, but after just one night, I understood why opinions are so polarized: it seems they offer 'differentiated treatment'.
Initially, I was waiting in the main lobby for check-in, but then I was escorted to an adjacent, VIP-style area. It was definitely quiet and air-conditioned, and the check-in process was very swift.
It turns out that pool room guests receive superior service. When I first entered the hotel, it was bustling with all sorts of guests, many of whom were probably there for the 4000-square-meter kids' water park. Despite having a pool room, we actually ended up avoiding the public areas because it was simply too sunny, and our child was uncomfortable with the heat.
Our pool room was on the first floor, and it was quite convenient as the food delivery drop-off point was just a left turn outside our door.
However, there was a noticeable musty smell in the hotel's restaurant and elevators.
The kids' club was very large and clean, offering plenty of entertainment, but some of the activities felt a bit half-hearted.
Our butler was very responsive to our requests; they brought plenty of plastic hangers for drying clothes, and the bed rail was delivered immediately upon request. The bed in the pool room was also very comfortable. I was quite satisfied with these aspects.
Right after dropping off our luggage, we headed to the all-you-can-eat beef buffet. Perhaps we went early, as it wasn't crowded, and there was pleasant live music. The food itself was of a moderate standard – plenty of variety, but the quality was just average. For over 200 RMB per person, it was acceptable.
There are plenty of dining options available around the kids' club, so you definitely won't go hungry.
My final recommendation is that if the hotel can more clearly delineate and differentiate its zones or services, allowing higher-paying guests to consistently experience a superior level of service, then I would consider the pool room to be truly worth the money.

AAnonymous User非常棒的賓館，設施齊全，房間面積夠大，衞生非常乾淨，床鋪鋪的板正，沒有污漬！環境清新，位置好找，睡覺安靜隔音好！床墊挺舒服的，窗簾遮光度高，衞生間夠大，東西都很齊全。需要東西給前台打電話，都能滿足解決！樓下的礦泉水可以暢飲，非常好！服務態度很好，主動打招呼，並有問必答，第二天要帶孩子趕海，前台貼心的幫忙查潮汐表，免費借給我們使用趕海工具。知道廚房免費可以使用後，借賓館的小電動車去市場買了點海鮮，又省了一筆錢[呲牙]，這項服務太到位啦，已經推薦給身邊要來陵水的朋友了，門口的看門貓非常可愛，沒事就在門口擼貓玩[捂臉]

The manager, Stanley, was very professional and ready to help when we needed it.
The sea view is the best I've had in Hainan. I came to this hotel again mainly for the view. You can even hear the waves from the room and see the stars at night.
Many people complain about the breakfast in the comment section, but it's not bad at all. There's different kinds of fruit, bread, coffee, eggs and write a few other dishes. It's definitely not five star, but my girlfriend and I (she's Chinese and I'm Canadian) enjoyed a long breakfast every morning.
There's barely ever anybody on the beach and it's okay to go for dip in the sea, but you're technically not supposed to swim in it.
There's a an area about 700 meters from the hotel where you can find different restaurants.
The pool is very nice but isn't heated.
You can easily get around just walking, renting the electric bikes and calling a taxi to get to some hiking spots. We didn't find it necessary to rent a car despite being remote.
The bad:
You are technically not supposed to swim in the sea.
The pool is too cold to comfortably swim in when the weather is not hot.
The cleaning service does just an okay job on cleaning the room.
There's no really good restaurants around that we could find. Although I find this to be a problem in most areas of Hainan. There is no real variation of food.
There's no breathing in the rooms.
Bring snacks because it's hard to find food in the afternoon unless you order from the town, but then you have to wait for it to arrive and the options are limited.
There is a gym but with limited equipment.

GGuest UserIf you are looking for a quiet place with great beaches, this is your hotel! The rooms are clean, very spacious and have everything you need (fridge, hairdryer, washing machine, big balcony with seats. There is a gym in the basement and a lovely large garden that leads to the sea. Everything is accessible with your hotel card. The hotel is very big and has a luxurious feel. The service is impeccable, they will help you no matter the time or request! Thank you Huang Xiaolan!
The beach is clean and quiet. Bring your own beverages, because there’s no vendors. The sea can be a bit wild, but a ‘sea pool’ is created right in front of the gate by the board walk. If you go left, you’ll find a playground for kids too. Toys for kids to play with in the sea can be found at the mall or Jiarunfa. In the morning musicians sometimes play at the beach.
There is a mall nearby (1 km walk) that has a little market, some stores and a lot of restaurants, the people are nice and helpful. There’s also a massage center on the first floor (take the stairs behind McDonalds) that offers great massages for a very good price. If you cross the street in front of the mall, there’s some fruit vendors and a big supermarket (Jiarunfa). Very nice people there too.
I loved staying here and will definitely come back!

JJing wu xihow to say. . It's not bad. The lobby is magnificent, but the facilities inside are not very good. I live on the 6th floor, the top floor, and there is a huge cockroach in the corner of the balcony, haha. The swimming pool downstairs is quite big. On Saturdays, there is a bubble fight. The water on the beach downstairs is made of real glass, and there are warnings everywhere that it is strictly prohibited to go into the sea, but you can go into the sea. It's okay, and there is also a meal. A complimentary dinner is a bad review. The parent-child room must be for more than three people, and the staple food is not enough. The breakfast buffet is quite satisfactory. There is a small town one kilometer away from the hotel, which is quite convenient for eating.
