The views are beautiful, the room is spacious, and the bedding is comfortable. However, the service really needs improvement. While check-in was officially at 4 PM, I registered around 3:30 PM. The front desk staff informed me that my room key would be ready in about 10 minutes and asked me to return then. After 10 minutes, seeing the long queue for check-in, I didn't want to cut in line. I approached a front desk assistant standing nearby and asked if they could retrieve my key from the colleague who had just processed my registration. To my disbelief, this assistant told me I needed to re-queue, stating that everyone currently waiting had already registered and still had to queue again. It was an absolutely absurd situation. For a five-star hotel, the service quality has truly deteriorated to this extent; they seemed to operate under the assumption that customers should simply accept queuing. Eventually, I had to call the hotel's front desk through the Ctrip app. They confirmed my room card was ready and sent it out to me, ultimately saving me from an unnecessary wait.

I booked an Executive Twin Room, located on the 31st floor, which offered great views and included Executive Lounge access. Breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening light meals could all be enjoyed in the lounge on the 31st floor. The breakfast on the 2nd floor was very crowded, with queues forming on weekends, so we wisely decided to head back to the 31st floor. The food selection there was actually quite comparable, and you could also order à la carte. The avocado salad, in particular, was really excellent. The afternoon tea selection was a bit limited. For dinner, some dishes would rotate every two days, and there was also a good range of alcoholic drinks, with staff available to mix cocktails. I have to commend the incredibly fresh salads here – I made sure to have a full plate at every meal. There was also a good variety of cheeses, which the kids absolutely loved.

I always stay at the Grand Hyatt whenever I visit Suzhou, but this time, the experience was quite disappointing. I felt compelled to write a review. **Service:** Due to my late check-in the previous day (past 11 PM), I had confirmed with the hotel in advance and at the front desk that I could extend my check-out until 2 PM. However, at 12:30 PM, I received a call to my room, informing me that my complimentary extension was only for 30 minutes and that I needed to pack up and check out *immediately*. Even after I explained our prior arrangement, they rigidly insisted I must be at the front desk to check out by 2 PM. This kind of situation has never occurred before, and it was quite frustrating. **Check-in Experience:** On the day of check-in, even though it was already past 11 PM, the front desk attendant was quite friendly. However, for some reason, she could only locate my booking for a single night, which led to a long and tiring back-and-forth. I had booked a Jinji Lake View room, but the room assigned (number 10) was almost at the very end of the lake-facing side, offering a minimal view of the lake. It was nearly midnight, and I was too exhausted to request a room change. Adding to this, I noticed the attendant at the next counter proactively offering a room upgrade to another guest, while I was still stuck trying to sort out my booking – a stark contrast. **A Special Compliment:** I must give a special shout-out to the cleaning lady on our floor. She always greeted us warmly whenever we passed by, and after noticing us taking bottled water when we left the room, she proactively placed two extra bottles in our room. That was a very thoughtful and excellent gesture.

Absolutely Stunning Cloud-Hotel Experience! Perched on the 115th floor, the Niccolo offers breathtaking panoramic views of Jinji Lake and the iconic ”Gate to the East.” The rooms are the epitome of modern luxury – sleek design, top-notch amenities, and incredibly comfortable beds. The infinity pool and dining venues are spectacular. Service is impeccable; the staff Dorothy anticipates your needs with genuine warmth and professionalism. Whether for business or a special getaway, this hotel delivers an unforgettable level of sophistication and style. Worth every penny for the unique sky-high experience. Highly recommended!

The location is excellent, and the room was very clean. We even got a free upgrade to a junior suite! The service was fantastic, and the breakfast was great, including authentic Suzhou-style noodles. The staff were very warm and even gave us complimentary bottled water. I accidentally left something behind, and they called to remind me and held onto it for me, which was wonderful service. I will definitely come back next time. Staying here is also very convenient for visiting Jinji Lake, with plenty of dining and entertainment options nearby. I've added two photos taken at night.

Our family stayed at this hotel during our trip to Suzhou. We found it offered excellent value for money, and its location is quite central. The parking entrance is located to the right of the hotel lobby. A word of caution: our navigation app gave us incorrect directions when trying to find it. Once in the basement, follow the signs to the hotel's dedicated parking spots. There are plenty of spaces, so feel free to drive further in – that will put you closer to the hotel elevators. The basement elevator takes you to the 1st floor. From there, you need to take a dedicated elevator up to the 25th-floor lobby for check-in. The receptionist on the 1st floor (I believe she wore glasses) was incredibly proactive and enthusiastic – highly appreciated! The long-haired staff member who checked us in was equally fantastic. She kindly upgraded our room for free, and her service was truly five-star plus – she deserves special mention! Breakfast was quite good. While the selection wasn't as extensive as in larger hotels, the quality of the items was excellent. Other amenities, however, I found to be just average. Traveling with a child, it was quite inconvenient that no bed rails were provided. The Wild Garden Lounge on the 25th floor was a letdown. When we tried to order, many items were unavailable, and even the recommended set menu had been discontinued. This really dampened the experience. Having to switch elevators multiple times just to get to the 1st floor or the swimming pool was also quite inconvenient.

Perfect location, metro station right by the hotel, very close to moon pier and other touristic attractions. The restaurant was too crowded, though, almost impossible to find a table during peak hours, but the food was OK. Good for families. The only negative thing I can say is that some guests smoked in their rooms with their doors open despite the floor being a non smoking one, and the hotel personnel saw them but didn’t warn them, don’t know why. The whole corridor smelled of smoke because of that.

Located in the heart of the industrial park, Hilton offers an unparalleled experience of tranquility yet convenience for anyone who wants to visit Suzhou. The amenities and service are amazing as its reputation and I had a great time relaxing while staying here for vacation. The staff was kind to upgrade our rooms such that it’s adjacent to each other and readily agreed to extend my checkout time to accommodate my train timings. While it might be a distance away from the popular tourist attraction, cabs are easy to find and cheap to travel in to destinations like the Lion’s Grove or the Tongli ancient town. The only downside to my stay was that I was not able to see the Jinji lake from my room. The breakfast was quite a spread with many different cuisine at great quality and would highly recommend you to book a room with breakfast as there are not many food options nearby. Family Matt opposite the hotel will serve all your urgent needs. Overall, I had a great stay and will highly recommend this place to business/ families who are good with taking cabs to tourist destinations.

An absolutely wonderful hotel with modern facilities and superb service. What was particularly heartwarming was that Butler Scott proactively contacted us even before check-in, offering comprehensive information on local transportation, dining, and attractions around the hotel. Upon checking in, we were also treated to a complimentary Suzhou-style noodle lunch and afternoon tea. The hotel boasts an excellent location. From our window, we had panoramic views of Jinji Lake, the Ferris Wheel, the yacht marina, and even the iconic 'Big Trousers' skyscraper. The subway station entrance is just a stone's throw away, a mere two-minute walk, and it's only three subway stops, less than 8 minutes, to Suzhou Industrial Park High-Speed Rail Station. This will definitely be our go-to hotel whenever we visit Suzhou in the future.

The hotel's location is quite convenient, close to Jinji Lake Scenic Area, and the small restaurants nearby offer good food. The room was very clean, the bedding was comfortable, and the air conditioning and hot water were stable. The Wi-Fi signal was also fast. Breakfast had a good variety; the wontons, noodles, congee, buns, and side dishes were all delicious, especially the freshly cooked noodles with a poached egg – very comforting and satisfying. It's great value for money, suitable for both business trips and short getaways. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in the area.
