Five star disappointment. They put us in a room in a back building then blocked our access to our room all week due to various events they had on the first floor. To get to our room we had to go up one set of stairs, walk an entire hallway, then take two more slow elevators. Very inconvenient and not a 5 star experience. I left a message of complaint with the manager and got no response. Very disappointed with this hotel experience.

JayNLOne of my favourite stays in Berlin!
Staff: Super friendly and welcoming! Very attentive and you can feel you’re welcome here.
Room: spotless and well equipped! The shower was very good, loved the room!
Location: Just 15 mins walking from main station and Friedrichstrasse. around Oranienburgerstrasse lots of nice restaurants and cafes, also only 5/10 mins walking! Also to Hackischer Markt close walking. Trams/subway in front!
Breakfast: Loved the restaurant and the breakfast was so good!

Guest UserThis was a good hotel for our trip to Berlin. Its very close to the Potsdamer Platz station which has multiple connections via train and subway. Its one stop earlier than the Berlin Hbf on the train station from the airport. There are some good restaurants nearby including two Indian and Vapiano, an Italian chain - this branch has pizzas. We got a two double bed room. The room was clean, and the facilities felt new. Bed was slightly harder than I prefer, but acceptablle. Pillows had no smell. There was an ice machine on the 4th and 6th floors. Gym was acceptable -- its in the basement and is reached by a separate elevator.

Guest UserThe stay was really comfortable, clean, and quiet. There's also a bar downstairs that offers a complimentary drink. The room had a fridge, which was a lifesaver in the hot weather for chilling water. They even left a bottle of water and an electricity card while I was out, which was a thoughtful touch. The transportation nearby is very convenient. It's really close to the zoo, about a 5-minute walk, and I had a great time seeing the pandas! I forgot to take pictures of the room though, so I'll use a panda picture instead! 😂

This stay was fantastic and exceeded my expectations! The room was spotless and very comfortable, with a great layout and an amazingly cozy bed—l felt relaxed the moment I walked in.
The staff were warm and professional, and everything from check-in to check-out was smooth and hassle-free. The property is quiet, well-maintained, and feels very welcoming throughout. I'd definitely stay here again and would happily recommend it to friends.

This was a fantastic hotel in a perfect central location. The staff throughout the entire property were attentive, professional, and genuinely dedicated to providing excellent service. The room was incredibly spacious and truly luxurious — I absolutely loved it.
Breakfast was high-quality with a great selection, and once again the service was outstanding. I could not have expected more from my stay. Highly recommended!

Anonymous UserLet's start with the positives: The location is excellent, right next to the U2 subway station and very close to the U6. If you have the Berlin WelcomeCard, getting around by subway and bus is super convenient and saves you a lot of walking. There's a Rewe supermarket across the street with a great selection of food, and their salad bar and hot food counter are both excellent.
Now for the negatives: The staff were arrogant and rude. I waited in line to check in for almost 20 minutes when a white man just walked up and stood next to the queue, not bothering to line up. After the person in front of me finished, I walked up to the front desk with him. He said the balding male staff member at the desk had called him over. I told the male receptionist that everyone was queuing and should be served in order, but he insisted he had called that specific white man. At this point, another front desk was free, so I didn't argue and moved to that one. This is where it got even more interesting. When I tried to pay the deposit in cash, the female receptionist said they don't accept cash. Isn't it illegal in any country to refuse legal tender? And who says everyone has a credit card? I didn't want any trouble, so I pulled out my credit card, but for some reason, it wouldn't go through. Finally, this female receptionist said her colleague could accept cash, and indeed, the colleague came over and took the money. But if I hadn't asked, they wouldn't have even given me a receipt.
For a hotel costing over 2,000 euros a night, they don't provide bottled water unless you're a Hilton Silver member or higher. The coffee is also terrible instant coffee, the worst among the four hotels I stayed at on this Europe trip. The facilities are old but reasonably well-maintained. In short, besides the location, there are no redeeming qualities.

Booked this for my son's 18th birthday trip. We booked two hotels of similar quality in Berlin for the kids so they could have a change of scenery during their stay. When I made the reservation, I mentioned it was their first independent birthday trip. The first hotel gave them complimentary drink and dessert vouchers, but this one didn't offer anything. My son said the hotel was nice and lively, with decent, standard facilities. They even ran into a singer who was performing in Berlin during their stay! On the downside, the swimming pool was very small and didn't really match the hotel's overall standard.

Guest UserThe hotel was quiet, comfortable, and beautiful. The rooms were a good size with a spacious balcony. I loved the place and got some much-needed rest; I didn't feel tired or cramped at all. Everything was good.

Guest UserVery comfortable and clean in quiet area. Very good bed and good air cond. good service from front desk. Bus 200 convenient to go to the center. The only thing is that I booked the upper storey rooms via Trip.com but the property received the booking order from thrid party Hotels .com for a standard room in lower levels (at a lower price) so obviiously trip.com is taking inventories from ********** and get its margin by booking lower room cathegory. It was probably a connection problems between trip.com and ********** systems. Everything was solved on the next day.
