"The location was perfect for a solo traveller. A close walk to the beach, many restaurants, & a shuttle bus that stops at different shopping malls & other hotels. The room was clean, but the bathroom could have been cleaner. The sink and hand rails are stainless steel, but were full of limescale. Nothing was shiny or polished. I was there for a week & only received housekeeping once. I noticed other guests asking the receptionists to get someone to clean their rooms. The reception staff were friendly, however I asked a member of staff to book me a taxi & luckily I double checked because it wasn't booked. Overall it was a nice hotel, I would stay again because of to the location and spacious room. Also around the pool could use a jet wash the floor was filthy."

"It's a decent place to stay if you're looking for a budget-friendly option. However, I can see why most people only stay for half a night – the quality is just okay. We booked it at a special, super cheap rate, so even with some complaints, we didn't mind too much. But if I had paid full price, I would have been really disappointed. The service and cleanliness are fine, but even though the room was cleaned, towels weren't automatically replenished; you had to ask for them at the counter. We stayed for three nights, but water was only provided at check-in. After that, we had to buy it or fill up from the gym's water dispenser. That part was a bit inconvenient. Still, having a convenience store inside the accommodation was a huge plus! The room view was like this [implied, as if showing a picture]. Oh, and it's fine if you have a rental car, but we were on foot, and having to walk 15 minutes to the beach was a bit tough. It's an acceptable place for a budget stay, but it's not worth paying a high price for a longer stay! Go for a hotel closer to the beach instead 😁"

I imagine others might feel the same way about the WhatsApp service. But, since a King Suite was available and I was upgraded, it wasn't a big deal. I got to drink my beer after all. "The facility is really old, but they keep it clean. You would feel like you went back in time with the decor as well. The hotel hosts lots of events within the hotel to keep the guests entertained and they served Chamorro style dinner experience every other day. The portion of the food isn’t big, but considering it’s free, it was very tasty and enjoyable. It’s on the beach front the beach is not clean, although you can kayak to the small islands in front of the resort where you can see lots of fish. Location is far from the city center, I’m so you’d have to take the shuttle bus for 30min to get to downtown, or 15min car ride. There is a super market within walking distance so if you only want to buy food, it’s doable. The breakfast buffet was good. Menu changed daily and had Western, Japanese, and a bit of Korean food. I’d recommend this hotel to families with small kids, or young group of friends on a budget."

"Times are hard in Guam these days. Lots of hotel rooms and almost no tourists. Holiday Resort is one of the least expensive hotels but you get what you pay for including a huge place that has seen better days. The place is not well maintained and that was frustrating. The ocean view is VERY nice but I had to ask for towels on two of the three nights we were there. The staff is VERY friendly and competent but the boiler is broken and so there is only lukewarm water in the bathroom. The thing that bothered me the most was that the list of amenities has not been updated. There is no more breakfast buffet and forget coffee in the room. The elevators did work. When I called the front desk because my walls were shaking to the unbelievably loud music coming from the next room, Security came up immediately and told them to turn it down. I wish this hotel the very best since the service was good and the workers were trying their best but I will skip this hotel the next time I'm in Guam which will be in a few more weeks."
