"Since I arrived in Guam on an early morning flight, I requested an early check-in in advance, but it was denied. Upon arrival, I walked to the hotel, dropped off my luggage, and waited in the lobby. There were no luggage tags or anything; my bags were simply placed behind the staff, and I had to identify my belongings at check-in. The lobby was spacious and had restrooms, a convenience store, a gym, a pool, and desks and sofas with charging ports. (Since checkout is at 12 PM, it seems you can't access your room until check-in at 3 PM.) After checking in, there were two elevators, but one wasn't working. The operational elevator had a wide gap, so I think parents with small children should be careful of their footing. (It was a bit of a nerve-wracking elevator.) We were given two key cards, but one didn't work. A minor drawback was the shower room and toilet lacking a dividing wall, causing water to splash towards the toilet. I wished for even a simple curtain, perhaps one that could be extended with a tension rod. The mirror in the shower room seemed quite modern, with a defogging button, which was convenient for applying makeup after a shower. The water pressure, well, I don't think anything can beat Japanese water pressure, so I guess it's normal for overseas hotels. The temperature control tended to get hot quickly, but it was relatively easy to adjust. The bed was soft and a bit saggy. Bed making was by request, and typically only involved towel changes."

"I originally booked this hotel for its proximity to the duty-free shop, but it turned out the shop was closed. I arrived around 1 AM, and everything I requested in my booking, like the bed rail, was already prepared. The hotel's pool and beach are connected to the neighboring property. There are shops right in the lobby and on the first floor, and plenty of restaurants just outside. The parking lot is huge, which is super convenient for self-driving travelers."

"I booked a suite family room and requested two additional double beds, but I was pleasantly surprised to find four double beds, which was great. I was a bit worried after reading reviews about this being a budget-friendly resort, but our room didn't have any major issues. However, the floor didn't seem to be cleaned very well, and the water pressure in the bathroom was quite weak, including the toilet. I recommend bringing a shower filter. The room comes with a coffee pot, microwave, mini-fridge, TV, and water. There are no overhead lights in the room, so you have to use the bedside lamps. The pool is about 10 meters long, and the deep end is around 182 cm. I didn't swim because it seemed like the pool wasn't very well maintained. The location is decent, and they offer luggage storage, but it's just them roping off an area and leaving your bags there."

"This hotel has the best location in Tumon beach. We can walk into the super beautiful Tumon beach directly from the hotel swimming pool area. The Tumon beach has fine white sands and large area that suitable for swimming and chilling in water. The water quality is the best i have ever seen, better than beaches in Phuket! And facilities are becoming old. Many defects are found inside the room without repair. Morning breakfast is nice but not as good as Tsubaki Tower."

"Compassion and care when we needed it most* Our Guam to Manila flight on April 13 was cancelled due to the typhoon, leaving us stranded for 4 days. What could have been a stressful nightmare was made so much easier because of Gual Plaza Hotel. They generously (Front Desk Manager) gave us a discount for our extended stay and went above and beyond to make us comfortable. The staff were incredibly kind, understanding, and attentive the entire time. You could really feel that they cared. Thank you, Guam Plaza team, for turning a difficult situation into a reminder that there’s still genuine hospitality and kindness in the world. "The place is very beautiful and at walking distance from the airport (it took me 25 min. on foot). The room may have had partial view of the sea, but it was very enjoyable. The room is the size of an apartment and very luxurious with tub, shower, heated & multi-function toilet seats, kettle, big flat TV, air-con and don't remember what else. With the room comes the access to the gym and the swimming pool, which were nice, but not of the level of the rooms. Anyway it would be a pity to use them because Ypao beach is very near and it is simply wonderful with pristine, turquoise, calm and shallow waters thanks to the coral reef. The biggest downside of the place is the price: everything is really overpriced in Guam. Luckily I caught a good offer with huge discount, but otherwise it is crazy expensive. It lacks of affordable options and anyway with the same money in other places it would have been even better."

"Great location, with plenty of dining options right downstairs. However, being by the road meant some noisy cars at night, which affected my sleep. The room was spacious but quite humid. It took about three days into our seven-day stay for the humidity to finally feel comfortable. P.S. The gym is small but well-equipped and open 24/7."

"I like this place and often book for the infinity pool but I was a bit bummed with this recent booking. The weather wasn’t great, not the hotels fault so I didn’t swim but still enjoyed laying in the pool area. I had upgraded my room this time thinking the beds would be better since they all seem outdated and the higher priced room wasn’t any different. Just had a beach view that I liked. My major is issue was upon check in and how very unnecessarily slow the process was. I’ve worked at hotels before, no one should take this long to check in their guests, especially when the entrance doesn’t turn on their AC for their guests. On top of that I had important dinner plans that were delayed bc I couldn’t get ready in a timely manner due to the outlets being broken and broken hair dryer. I had to blow dry my hair over the toilet. I was happy the manager spoke to be next day she seemed very sweet and I am hoping I am somehow compensated in the near future. I was very disappointed that I booked this stay and hope the hotel can redeem itself."
