"One night stay 24/2/24 Breakfast included. Unfortunately, this is not a business I would recommend staying at! on check in the reception was locked, rang the bell and shortly was met by an elderly lady receptionist, was warned about the unfriendly cat not to go near him as it attacks you! she was hard to understand a quite abrupt to be honest. our room No12 was old, run-down, dirty, none of the electrical items have been Test n Tagged, a legal requirement I would have thought as all the electricals were defo older than 12 mths, the one wall socket had six sockets on it including 2 double piggyback plugs, our main door was hard to open despite it has been extensively planed on the edge, the door frame is almost completely eaten away by white ants, the toilet cistern was falling off the wall, the cheap make over in the shower by painting over the wall tiles as expected is now peeling off. The sofa was short of disgustingly dirty, in the room the info booklet was fairly good, It stated that breakfast is served between 07:30 to 09:00 daily and if you wanted an earlier time you needed to arrange this at reception, my wife & I went for breakfast at 07:45 and all was locked up, we waited 10 mins still no sign of life so I rang the number on the reception and same lady answered, I asked what time is breakfast as she replied "What breakfast" I said the breakfast included in my room stay, she said oh if you wanted breakfast you should have said so on check-in, I said but its included in my room, her reply was well you didn't asked for it so you will a have to go into town for breakfast and started to tell me 3 or 4 places I could go to. Clearly wasting my time put the phone down we packed up and left."

About 2mins drive out of the town centre. Junee Licorice & Chocolate Factory, and a classic car museum 1 min drive away (bring cash for the museum entry)."

"Don’t bother wasting your money. Go to The Crossing instead. The people running this motel don’t have any idea how to run a motel. Just want to take your money and provide crap service. Had to ask for an extra towel because only one in the room which was booked for two people. Tv didn’t work. No face washers. No tissues. Toilet running with water. Had to speak through a door bell to book in at 5pm in the afternoon."
