"This is an excellently run hotel - all the more unexpected given the place - and strongly recommended if you are in Ternate. The hotel was modernised a few years ago. The interiors are fresh and very functional. The front desk team are very friendly and professional - personally checking the room before releasing it. My room was better designed, equipped and cleaner than most KL Airbnbs/hotels I've stayed in recently. The bathroom shower glass and mirrors were almost spotless... amazing. Breakfast was a decent buffet - pastries, fruit, toast, local hot dishes (really good!) - with clean, modern utensils and plates. Great job! The location is quiet but a walk to the waterfront market area. Straight up the road to Moya and one of the routes to the mountain. 15 mins from the airport. Overall, there is nothing to fault these guys. Yes, no gym, pool, big terrace, etc, but if you want a friendly, safe, clean, very functional space with a comfy bed, decent shower, and workable internet - Belson Hotel is your place."
