"This hotel is absolutely fantastic. We would return without any hesitation- everything about it is first class. We loved: 1. The location- right next to Potos and easy driving distance to the best sights 2. The pool- lovely temperature with two smaller pools ideal for our son to play in, plus the slide was a bonus for him. 3. The chilled out nature- no mad rush for sunbeds! 4. The food- the quality was fabulous. Not a huge choice but what you got was delicious and fresh. Also we loved that on a few nights you had a choice from the a la carte menu and a separate menu was available for kids 5. The drinks- all very high quality- wine and cocktails were better than any all inclusive we have visited in the past; 6. The choice of have three dining out options which were included and also the 30 minute massage at the spa; 7. The staff- honestly the nicest and attentive we have met; 8. The rooms- stunning views! We will return- thank you so much for the best holiday!"

Makryammos Bungalows

"Lovely location but a long down hill walk avoiding traffic to reach the town for something to do. “Hotel Makryammous” is not a hotel it is a reception surrounded by scattered bungalows accessed by waiting for a golf buggy to pick you up. Food very basic and drinks pricey Service from untrained inexperienced staff. Dire lack of information like pulling teeth to find out anything. The bungalows are nice but the cleaning is not up to standard half made beds crumpled pillows, bins not emptied including toilet paper one .. not good as you are not supposed to flush paper down the loos :( I have complained to travel company whose rep was useless Oh and you have a key for your pre designated beach chairs and it is your responsibility to unlock stack and lock the chairs back up again each day I loved the Peacocks that wander around, and although the beach was untidy the sea was clear. I would not return to Thassos however"

Esperides Hotel

"Good breakfast, good location but customer service is an ABSOLUTE ZERO! When we arrived, no one was at the reception, so we had to call someone that was not even familiar with our booking. The room we were given had nothing to do with the one in the pictures, since the one in the pictures was at the first floor and had a balcony, while our room was at the ground floor with a backyard that you could directly access our room. The description of this particular room in the Booking website also mentioned a balcony, but no ground floor. We went to the reception the same evening, but no one was there, except for a drunk guy that could barely speak. So the next morning, we went again to the reception and the receptionist was there. When we informed her that the room did not look like in the pictures, she told us to leave the hotel if we did not like our room! Rude and disrespectful! To make matters worse, the same guy that was drunk the night before (so drunk that had almost passed out) started yelling and telling us to leave the hotel if we did not like our room, trying to convince us that the ground floor backyard was also considered a balcony! He was yelling at us to go outside, showing us other walled backyards of ground floor rooms in the area as balconies! Our backyard was not even walled! Instead, you could directly access our room through the backyard! The guy said he was the hotel manager, but neither the receptionist nor him had any ID as they should! The room had no mosquito nets, had spider webs over the air-condition and was infested with ants. Of all the hotels visited, this is by far the worst! Customer service is an ABSOLUTE ZERO! Don’t go there!"
