Staff absolutely amazing and do everything for you and what you ask for, they are super friendly and not cold as in other hotels with this many stars. Definitely recommend to pay more for room with private pool. Waiters absolutely amazing. I hope it wasn’t my last visit."

"My husband and I have spent a very relaxing and peaceful week at this lovely hotel. It is a chilled place with nothing really in the immediate area, but we loved it. I am vegetarian and there was always something nice to choose from. The food at the Meltemi restaurant was wonderful, we can recommend the Greek night on Friday. The staff are lovely and our Tui rep Leigh was fabulous. The grounds and rooms are spotless. We had a deluxe sea view room which was beautiful and we loved watching the House martens fledge from the balcony. The transfer is very well organised, but it made for a long day. If you are looking to switch off and relax in a beautiful place Thassos and the Blue Dreams Hotel are perfect."

"This hotel was the best i have ever been with my family. It is very quiet here and the beach is very clean and beautiful. The closest city is cca 2 km by car. If you need car, you can rent one or ask on the reception and reserve a ride by hotel car. The drivers are very nice and the whole staff is very skilful. Staff is very friendly and polite and I would definitely recommend this place to everyone."

"We caught the last Tui flight out of Kavala after spending two weeks at Makryammos bungalows. The check in was ok, not much information given, no complementary drinks. There were one of two waiters helpful. We expected daily bottled water in our room, as there wasn't an on sight shop, we were told they didn't have time to build it this year! On our first trip into Thassos town, by taxi we bought 6 litres of bottled water for €2-50. We were in room 204, which was very nice, clean and tidy. The catering wasn't 5 star, instead of eggs fried to order at breakfast they batch cooked them and left them on a tray to congeal, although one day I actually had an egg freshly fried. The breakfast and dinner were not up to the star rating. We didn't venture very far, although we did go into Thassos town 3 times. The first by taxi, both ways,. Then we got the golf cart up to the gate and walked on the side of the road, which took us 20-25 minutes, we did however get a taxi back! We didn't see any rubbish on the beach, thought it was a good idea to have same dinners every day. I had no problem following the shade from the parasol. I wasn't keen on dogs being allowed on the beach and I don't think they should have been allowed where people were eating, even if it was in the covered area outside."

"This is far from 5 stars hotel. Very low in everything. Rooms very poor. Old furniture and facilities. Food from breakfast the same and not good at all. Hotel is good for families with kids and people with disabilities. But is one of the most poor hotel from Thasos"

Esperides Hotel

"Good breakfast, good location but customer service is an ABSOLUTE ZERO! When we arrived, no one was at the reception, so we had to call someone that was not even familiar with our booking. The room we were given had nothing to do with the one in the pictures, since the one in the pictures was at the first floor and had a balcony, while our room was at the ground floor with a backyard that you could directly access our room. The description of this particular room in the Booking website also mentioned a balcony, but no ground floor. We went to the reception the same evening, but no one was there, except for a drunk guy that could barely speak. So the next morning, we went again to the reception and the receptionist was there. When we informed her that the room did not look like in the pictures, she told us to leave the hotel if we did not like our room! Rude and disrespectful! To make matters worse, the same guy that was drunk the night before (so drunk that had almost passed out) started yelling and telling us to leave the hotel if we did not like our room, trying to convince us that the ground floor backyard was also considered a balcony! He was yelling at us to go outside, showing us other walled backyards of ground floor rooms in the area as balconies! Our backyard was not even walled! Instead, you could directly access our room through the backyard! The guy said he was the hotel manager, but neither the receptionist nor him had any ID as they should! The room had no mosquito nets, had spider webs over the air-condition and was infested with ants. Of all the hotels visited, this is by far the worst! Customer service is an ABSOLUTE ZERO! Don’t go there!"
