Hotel Rose Garden Shinjuku Reviews

Hotel right next to nishi shinjuku station. One station away from shinjuku station around 10 minutes walk. Rooms were quite small. They gave out free bath salts, face mask and beauty amenities which were great and good for your stay. Breakfast was limited though their breads were very good.

First, the lady who checks you in has a bad attitude and is very rude. When I got into the room there was no aircon. I called the front desk and a guy came up to say that the aircon isn’t cold because the weather outside is cold. So he opened the windows told us it would be cool soon. The first night was a total nightmare as I couldn’t sleep all night because the road noise from the open windows and when I tried to close the windows I was sweating from the heat. Then it was a constant struggle with the opening and closing of the windows throughout the night. I went to the front desk first thing in the morning and complained and said there is no way I will spend another night in this manner. And the manager said they will turn on Aircon, which got me even furious. Why didn’t they switch it on in the first place! Absolutely ridiculous. I will never waste money on a hotel like that again

The service is excellent, i had request a luggage store after check-out date just cost 1000 yen each luggage on 24hours and help me to call the taxi.

Fairly close to Shinjuku station and they have plenty of amenities. Room was clean but the washroom had weird smell... At night time, Tokyo drifters gets chased by police every 30mins so giving us ear plugs would have been nice. Price was fair and their breakfast was awesome!

It’s a small but cozy hotel. Around 10 min walk from main station but it’s manageable.

Great location, just a very short walk from Shinjuku-nishi station. 3 mins walk! It's also about a 1 km walk to Shinjuku station where the hustle and bustle is. We bought a 24hour metro card for 600 Yen so perfect for use. Also straight metro to ginza. Ideal location. Hotel room is a bit small but functional and toilet was actually of comfortable size. Has a window. Clean rooms. Left luggage is just at the lobby and there was a bit of a mix up but otherwise ok.

Location is perfect and next door is a family mart. Train station is just opposite and walking distance to Shinjuku shopping areas. Only thing not very nice is the hotel wifi, connection is not good, slow speed.

Good place to stay. Good restaurants.

A vey nice place at an extremely convenient location. The place is literally right next to the Nishi Shinjuku station on the big road. Shinjuku and all the nightlife is just a short walk away. For this price, I recommend to all solo travelers if you're in this area.

The location of the hotel is average, not close to the commercial street. The hygiene condition was very poor, there were insects on the bed and a lot of dust on the carpet. However, the hotel service staff responded positively, immediately changed our room, and apologized many times. Their attitude was sincere and worthy of praise.

The hotel is a short walk from Shinjuku area. The breakfast is good and the rooms are not very small compared to other hotels.

For my exam, I chose Rose Garden among the closest ones, Ni****etsuin and Rose Garden! It's very close to Ni****etsuin, and there's a PMO building between the Rose Garden and Ni****etsuin! It can be done in 5 minutes! There is a McDonald's in front (takeout only in the morning), and Family Mart and 7-Eleven are also nearby. It's a perfect location for an exam center, so although it's quite far from central Shibuya, it's not bad for a walk. The inside of the hotel was clean and Japanese hotels are small, but the Rose Garden was not that small! There is a microwave in the lobby on the first floor and a space where you can eat the food you just bought. I am completely satisfied for the price! Highly recommended for those coming for exams!

The hotel has a good location, the transportation is very convenient, and the breakfast is also good. There were too many twists and turns on the day of check-in. I carried my luggage back and forth three times, but I still didn't get the room I booked in advance! Later, the front desk gave me a taxi ticket to the subway station as compensation.
