The service was excellent. The staff at the front desk even helped carry our luggage and personally escorted us to our room upon check-in. They always greeted us warmly whenever we encountered them. The hotel's environment was lovely. I was particularly relieved not to find any bugs or mosquitoes, as I'm always a bit concerned about insects when staying in water towns. The room also thoughtfully included two hotel umbrellas. Instead of the complimentary breakfast, the hotel offered an 'early guest tea' (早客茶) service. Since the scenic area hasn't been busy lately, we could even reserve this tea as late as 4 PM. The complimentary disposable wooden comb and hair tie were both very practical. Our room was incredibly unique. The standard room was actually designed with two separate spaces, which was brilliant for privacy! Highly recommended!

It's super close to the Xizha Visitor Center, just a few minutes' walk. The hotel also provides complimentary electric cart shuttle service. Wuzhen Grand Theatre and Muxin Art Museum are literally just a few minutes' walk away. Every staff member here was fantastic – they helped with taxi bookings and even reserved the popular 'morning tea' experience for us. The hotel was impeccably clean. As a guest, we received complimentary Xizha admission tickets, a boat trip, and the morning tea experience. The only slight downside was that the room lacked a refrigerator, which could be inconvenient during the summer months.

Returning to Wuzhen, I can't help but marvel at how unchanged it is from 13 years ago. The Hangzhou government has done an excellent job preserving it! This time, I booked Zhaoming Academy, drawn by its No. 1 ranking for scenic views, and it truly delivered. **Environment:** Zhaoming Academy is located in the West Scenic Zone, relatively close to the exit. Downstairs, there's Shusheng Lamb Noodles (the price, 38 yuan a bowl, is the same as 13 years ago!), with generous portions of flavorful meat. Thumbs up!👍🏻 It's a very short walk to the Muxin Art Museum, just 5-10 minutes. Since Wuzhen has very few tourists in the mornings, giving it an ancient, secluded feel, we spontaneously decided to extend our stay for another day. However, we were a bit disappointed that Zhaoming Academy was fully booked. **Service:** The front desk staff were very helpful and answered all our questions. Breakfast is available downstairs, though it was a bit basic. The wontons had thick skins and sparse meat filling. (We later found out that the breakfast at Zhensui Hotel was similar, so it seems to be a standard for Wuzhen.) **Hygiene:** Spotlessly clean! Our family of four stayed in two separate rooms, which allowed for privacy. Each room had a TV, so the kids could watch cartoons while the adults enjoyed documentaries – it was very comfortable! **Facilities:** Compared to Shuixiangyi Inn where we stayed the next day, Zhaoming Academy definitely surpassed it (at the same price point). Not only does it have a comfortable tea area downstairs, but also a scenic waterfront area. Its proximity to the entrance makes it convenient for getting anywhere.

A fantastic hotel. The room layout is modern and unique, and the facilities are all up-to-date. The staff are very friendly and enthusiastic. Our room was not facing the main street, which made it very quiet. While the breakfast selection wasn't extensive, every item was tasty, and the fried noodles were exceptionally good. I personally found the hotel's Minghui Restaurant to offer good value for its price and quality of food. Hotel guests also receive a 10% discount, making it a great option if you're looking for a full meal.

What truly surprised me was the impeccable cleanliness; every corner was spotless. The bedding had a faint, fresh scent, guaranteeing a wonderful night's sleep. The service was equally impressive and attentive. From check-in guidance to insightful itinerary suggestions, every detail was meticulously handled. The staff's warm smiles made them feel as welcoming as old friends. And the restaurant's cuisine deserves high praise! The Wuzhen-style pastries and incredibly flavorful mutton noodles were incredibly comforting and warmed my stomach. Overall, my experience was absolutely perfect. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Wuzhen; it's an ideal spot to slow down and truly immerse oneself in the poetic beauty of the water town!

We booked the room two weeks in advance. The cleanliness, service, and convenient location were all impeccable. The only drawback was the room's spatial layout. While the room itself was quite spacious, its design felt unnecessarily divided. There was a lot of unused corridor space, which made the two actual bedrooms feel rather cramped. It seemed like a very inefficient use of space. The location was extremely convenient; it was just a one-minute walk directly to Wuzhen's main street. It was also very easy to visit the water market and participate in the Zaochake (morning tea/breakfast experience) in the morning. We opted for the self-funded Zaochake this time. It didn't cost much, and the main appeal was the unique participatory experience. The lobby was very comfortable, with several chess tables set up by the water. The cleanliness was excellent. Aside from the impractical room layout, everything else was perfect.

The twin room was uniquely configured, with beds in two separate rooms. Overall, the place was very clean, and the air conditioning worked exceptionally well. The rooms were clean, and the property was well-managed. Its location is incredibly convenient. To the left, a mere 100-meter stroll leads to Scholar Lamb Noodle on Xizha Main Street. Straight ahead, you'll discover expansive wheat fields and tranquil lotus ponds, providing beautiful pastoral views. The Lizaochake Water Market is less than a 5-minute walk away, and a FamilyMart convenience store is only 3 minutes on foot. After checking out, guests could have their luggage directly transferred to the Visitor Center, allowing them to continue exploring the scenic area. The breakfast was delicious, and the dining environment was also very pleasant. Highly recommended!

The stay was slightly below expectations. The air conditioning in the hotel's public areas was insufficient. Likely due to the tiled roof and hot weather, it had a somewhat stuffy and humid feel. Furthermore, the lack of a refrigerator in the room was quite inconvenient. On the bright side, the hotel's location, not far from the scenic area entrance, was very convenient. Wuzhen itself boasts beautiful natural scenery, but the excessive number of tourists in August, with every alley packed, somewhat detracted from the overall experience.

Bringing my 90-year-old mother to Wuzhen for a leisurely trip, selecting Zhaoming Academy online turned out to be the perfect choice. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and attentive, and the room service was equally thoughtful. We were pleasantly surprised when fresh fruits and sweet soup were delivered right when we needed a pick-me-up. Our two-bedroom, one-living room, one-bathroom suite provided ample space, allowing us to sleep soundly and undisturbed. Breakfast was also incredibly delicious. A massive thumbs-up to Zhaoming Academy! 👍🏻 The stay included complimentary Wuzhen Xizha Scenic Area tickets for two, allowing multiple entries and exits until 12:00 PM on our check-out day. We also received a 100 RMB dining voucher daily (valid at three designated restaurants). We chose to dine at Minghui Restaurant both days and were thoroughly impressed! 👍👍👍

The location is ideal for those planning to stay in the scenic area. Staffs were very helpful. The food were also delicious.

This hotel is one of the nearest (by their scenic area transport service) when we were drove there from the visitor centre. We found out there were a lot more inns and resorts but they came at different price range. This one is a short walk to the boat ride and other eateries/shops. For my room, we have a nice bathtub for my family with young kids though a little disappointed they can't provide baby cot even though the room was quite big (with enough space). Our package didn't include the boat ride which was a little disappointing and we still need to pay for 80RMB each for it. Hotel isn't the most kids-friendly since there isn't much facilities that young kids below 3 years old can play. Heard there are other resorts in Wuzhen but it came with different price tags. We spent most time outside so the only time we spent were sleeping and the breakfast. Overall was a pleasant stay with good breakfast.

Great location close to the entrance and at a shuttle stop. Standard room has two small rooms, convenient for multiple people traveling together. Traditional style decor and great service.
