"Highly recommended. We stayed in a large lodge, which was spacious and clean. The wood cabins are self-catering, with a well equipped kitchen, sauna. We had great views from our balcony, with an overall cosy atmosphere. The resort is well located for good hikes, with family friendly walks including up to the Brocken. It is within good reach of a large number of other attractions, including world heritage sites such as Quedlinburg or Rammelsberg. Close to picturesque Wernigerode and Goslar as well. The swimming pools of the local area are also within easy reach (for children recommend Vitamar Bad Lauterberg)."
