"The room facilities are relatively new and meet 4-star standards. I requested a high floor when booking, and I called the hotel a few days before check-in to confirm it. I didn't expect to be given the first floor in France when I checked in. I wanted to communicate with the hotel through Ctrip's customer service in China to see if I could change to a higher floor. As a result, the hotel's front desk staff hung up the phone directly because they didn't speak English. This attitude is rare. Fortunately, the windows are double-glazed and soundproof. The terminus of bus No. 3 is downstairs. The departure time of buses in France is relatively long, and there is still noise when the vehicles are waiting and idling. The hotel's breakfast is 16 euros per person, which is a bit expensive, but the orange juice and drinks are all Bio"

"J'ai payée pour une chambre avec une vue sur la mer. Ils ont refusé de me donner la chambre pour laquelle j'ai payé. Si ce n'était pas que la chambre n'était pas remboursable, je serais partie. J'ai eu tellement de mauvaises expériences avec Mercure que je n'utiliserai plus jamais la chaîne. I was impressed with nothing except the food at this hôtel. The room was not cleaned to my level of cleanliness (spider webs, smelly toilette, stained towers, dust in the floor corners, etc) I was given a room right at the roundabout so I could hear all the car motocycle truck noises ... and the karoake one night. At the breakfast they kept running out of things and not replacing them, especially the last hour of breakfast. "It's coming madame", and then "breakfast is over at 10H madame". This hôtel may be cool for others but it was not good for me. I expect a lot more for a 4* hotel."

"The hotel is a little over 10 minutes' walk from both the bus station and the town's visitor center. Elephant Trunk Hill is a 30-minute walk away or accessible by the sightseeing train from the visitor center. The spacious double room I booked offers views of the mother elephant and the town's architecture from its small balcony, with particularly beautiful scenery in the early morning and evening on clear days. The room features Chinese-style décor and furnishings, a large triangular whirlpool tub, and a shower. Air conditioning may not be available, but there are two large heated seats. The Michelin-starred restaurant's exterior is covered in greenery, and the walls and chair backs are decorated with Picasso-style paintings. Guests may enjoy complimentary afternoon tea."

"Overall, our stay at Novotel Le Havre Centre Gare was good. I would rate the hotel between an 8 and a 9, but due to a few negative experiences, I settled on an 8 out of 10. On the first evening, we had a big problem with parking. There were no spots available, and unfortunately, we felt that no one at the hotel was truly interested in helping us find a solution. Another unpleasant situation occurred on Tuesday during breakfast. My family arrived in the breakfast area around 9:40 AM. One staff member was very unfriendly and visibly annoyed. She showed her frustration by loudly banging and noisily clearing away dishes and food scraps, which created a very uncomfortable atmosphere. I want to emphasize that all the other female staff members were friendly and courteous. Furthermore, our room was not cleaned twice during our seven-day stay. The last time this happened was on Friday, July 31st, which meant we had to get extra toilet paper ourselves. Aside from these points, the hotel was tidy and generally clean, and most of the staff were friendly. Overall, it was a good stay. However, the negative experiences mentioned are why I gave it 8 out of 10 points."

"The location in city center is a nice location and convenient if you want to walk. The pool and spa facilities were very nice and the pool is warmed. The rooms are starting to show wear and tear, carpet, the shower handles. The bed needed a little more of a topper to make it a little more comfortable. A more ni fridge would be nice in the room so you can have cold drinks. The people were nice, the facility was clean with a good location. It worth staying."

"No one was there to greet us, and when the receptionist finally arrived, he was anything but welcoming. Furthermore, we had booked a "cozy" room with a sea view and balcony, but he told us there was no balcony, even though balconies were clearly visible. He then claimed the room was under renovation, though we hadn't seen any such thing. He gave us an attic room with a curtain separating it from the bathroom and a view of the rooftops. The shower had no water pressure, and the toilet didn't flush properly. A very bad experience."
