Hotel R9 the Yard Uruma
"Booked this hotel for my sister visiting from the states. She was extremely pleased with the friendly and helpful staff. The room was large and had all of the amenities one would want from a container hotel. Water pressure for the shower and bath was outstanding. Bed was large and comfortable. She loved the free meals that were provided and the Convenience Store was next door. A wonderful stay and would highly recommend it."
Coco Garden Resort Okinawa
"The welcome reception feels very good Although the environment is relatively small in terms of resort style, it is a good base to enjoy the night view and sunrise because it is at a commanding height. Breakfast is worth recommending, especially the tea selection, which is very considerate"
Kanko Business Hotel Heian
"Little bit old hotel with the charm of quaint Japanese older queens. Owner is very friendly and speak also English. Good budget friendly hotel just next to a bakery and a Lawson convenience store. If you’re short of money, it is a great choice. "
ANA Crowne Plaza RESORT OKINAWA URUMA HILLS by IHG
"Overall, it was decent. The location is a bit off the beaten path, but thankfully we had a car. It's situated on a hilltop, and the surrounding environment was beautiful. The room was a little small, but that's quite common for accommodations in Japan. Given this, the value for money was excellent, especially since other resorts in the area easily cost thousands more."
AJ Resort Island Ikeijima
"Located most east coast of Okinawa, it is an adventure journey for those who like adventures. Much rural but the scenic drive really worth it. Better travel by day time instead of night. Road is narrow and windings"
Guest House Akamichi Naoya
"The room is beautiful and has an authentic atmosphere. Very nice host"
Hotel Hamahigashima Resort
"The location is relatively remote, about an hour and a half away from downtown Naha, so it is suitable for self-driving tours. The hotel is relatively old-fashioned and has no elevator. The overall staff is friendly and has a swimming pool service only in summer. Suitable for tourists who want a peaceful environment, there is an almost exclusive beach underneath the hotel, and the nearest convenience store is a 10-minute drive away."
Amawari Hotel -Seven Hotels and Resorts-
"The room was very clean, there was a kitchen and a big fridge. It looked like a motel. When we arrived it was dark and we biked there, it was not hard to find. However, it was at the edge of a street, far from convenient stores. The staff was friendly. The area was quiet."
Mr.KINJO in URUMA
"Overall, it's excellent. The surroundings are quiet and peaceful. The space is surprisingly larger than we expected, and there's even a desk for work. The kitchen and bathroom facilities are good, making it suitable for long-term business trips where you can cook your own meals. It offers great value for money, is inexpensive, and has convenient parking nearby. Although it doesn't have sensor access and you need a key, and the curtains on the first floor must be drawn (opening them reveals the street), there are two convenience stores nearby, and the check-in and check-out process is very quick. Highly recommended!"

413 Hamahiga Hotel&Cafe
"There were bugs and geckos not only around the room but also inside the room, so there was no way I could stay there. After checking in, we were given a consent form stating that bugs would appear and that bringing in food and drinks was prohibited. It was the worst hotel I would never stay at again. This time, I checked in, left my luggage, went out, and when I got back, there was a gecko in the room, so I couldn't stay there and had to quickly move to another hotel. It was just a waste of time and money."
Mr. KINJO in Ishikawa Inter(Uruma City)
"Highly NOT recommended! I checked in late, and they didn't mention the extra 1500 yen charge beforehand. Parking also cost an additional 1000 yen per day. I don't know if it was the owner or an employee, but they greeted me with a sour face. Honestly, they should just close down."
Hikari Dome
"The key to the entrance door was hard to tighten and struggled. Other than that, it was really good. Please improve that key early"
Ocean View/ Rooftop Sauna &BBQ/ 12 People/Padel 2F
"The guesthouse is located in a remote area, but it's easily accessible by car. I recommend buying all your necessities and food before arriving on the island to fully enjoy the experience. The space is ample, with a washer and dryer, two toilets, and two bathrooms; our group of ten found it very comfortable."
french house
"The photos are beautiful, but be prepared for the reality! First, the pros: the hot water is excellent, instant, but unfortunately there's only one shower, though the space is sufficient. There are two toilets, which is convenient for larger groups. There's a washing machine and dryer, very convenient! Amenities are provided according to the number of people, but there are no amenities for children. The provided tableware and kitchen utensils are ample, and the refrigerator is large enough! The dining table is a bit small, and the living room has three sofa beds, making the space feel a bit cramped. Overall, the lighting is good and sufficient. The guesthouse has a good location, convenient transportation, a large supermarket nearby, and is very quiet at night. Now for the unsatisfactory aspects: the most unacceptable thing is the extensive mold on the walls and ceilings. It's hard to accept having to turn around and see large patches of mold everywhere. As shown in the photos, every room has large areas of mold, and there are large mold patches on the ceiling of the stairwell on the second floor. The towel hangers in the second-floor toilets are not fixed, and they fall down every time you wipe your hands, making a loud noise. The overall cleanliness is questionable. There was hair that hadn't been swept away, and the stair treads were scratched. This might be understandable given it was left by previous owners, but what's more alarming is that there were tiny cockroaches crawling on the walls. The cups, bowls, and tableware were stained and need to be thoroughly washed before use. The spring mattress on the bed was concave, giving the impression of being very old; it creaked when I turned over or sat up. Sitting or lying down on the bed, I could clearly feel the pressure on the mattress springs, which was very uncomfortable. Also, the house is mainly made of wood, so footsteps are very noticeable; even walking on the first floor can be heard in the second-floor rooms. If you're considering booking this house, please think twice!"
