Virginia Hotel
"This is an absolutely super hotel, really (really!) well run by the the exceptionally friendly and helpful Fontini and her team. It’s just a bit uphill from the sea front at Samos/Vathi – say a leisurely eight minutes’ walk down to the sea and the main square, and perhaps twelve minutes on the way back up. The building is stylish and well-appointed. A small lift gets you as far as floor three, with the top floor a further staircase up. The place is kept impeccably clean – communal areas and rooms (with daily room servicing). A highlight is the roof pool area accessed from the third floor – with a small but perfectly useable pool (good for a few strokes per length, and, of course, cooling refreshment), sun beds, a shower and an outstanding view over the town and bay. The ground floor houses reception (from which you will always receive a friendly greeting whenever you pass), the breakfast area (breakfasts looked super, but I didn’t indulge), and a bar and terrace. I was welcomed ahead of my formal check-in time and allowed to leave my bags behind reception and use the pool; likewise after check-out on the day of departure. When I visit Samos again (and I sincerely hope I will), The Virginia Hotel will be my first choice."
Samos Bay Hotel by Gagou Beach
"We only went to use the beach. But I wouldn't choose it again. We had pizza. It was very unsuccessful. Prices are above average. Food is tasteless. They charge extra for beach service. But the sea is clean and beautiful. Despite that, I wouldn't go again. The facilities are very inadequate for a beach."
Scorpios Hotel & Suites
"No iomplaints, lovely place to stay and Nancy was a terrific host. The view was not to be forgotten. Room fine , slept far too well and again no complaints but the fact it was out of season made the whole experience a tad quiet. The Ouzo is to be avoided though and in sure lovely Nancy knows what I mean. Never done a Greejk island before and Samos was truly fantastic History and history just wow. Radio taxus ask for taxi 20 Dmitri he's brilliant."
Semeli
"A very pleasant experience after we changed to a room on a higher floor. The hotel is a beautiful boutique property, new and well maintained. Breakfast by the pool is excellent, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Access to the hotel is quite challenging, as it is located up a steep incline from the main road. The hotel has its own parking area, but the climb from the parking lot to the reception can be difficult for older guests because of the steep slope. There is also access via stairs, which can be challenging in hot weather. Perhaps the hotel could consider installing an outdoor elevator. Otherwise, it is a very beautiful hotel overlooking Tsamadou Beach."
Samos City Hotel
"The room was spacious with a pleasant view of the bay from the window. It was conveniently located just minutes' walk from restaurants and shopping areas. The breakfast selection was plentiful."
Armonia Bay Hotel
"My sister and I had the absolute pleasure of staying in the Armonia for a week and it definitely ticked all the boxes. From the moment you arrive you immediately relax…the incredible view, hotel ambience and very welcoming staff ensure your checkin experience is positive. Our rooms were nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. We were very impressed with the restaurant…breakfasts were delicious and the lunch/dinner choices are all great. Admittedly the lunch/dinner menus are quite limited (as you would expect from a small hotel) but there are many restaurants nearby to experience. We found the tranquil location to be perfect and having a car allowed us to explore the island. The pool is fabulous but if you feel like a dip in the ocean, it is only a few minute walk to a lovely beach with beach club. The staff were so friendly and accommodating and very happy to meet all our needs. I can highly recommend this family owned hotel and would absolutely return in a heartbeat. Thanks Alex, Helene and Marius for an unforgettable week."
Kalidon Beach Hotel
"Friendly and spotlessly clean hotel. Perfect stay in the centre of Kokkari. Boutique feel to the decor. Rooms were small but well equipped for storage and also free air con. Breakfast was just right. We visited the sister hotel and used the pool and bar, which was very good but preferred the Kalidon Beach hotel for its proximity to the town/beach."
Nafsika Sea View Apartments
"Great location! Silent retreat with stunning views! Amazing host. The rooms are so spacious an and clean and the views from the rooms are breathtaking, it’s great value for money."
Ino Hotel & Suites
"Absolutely fantastic hotel! Everything was spotless and exceptionally well looked after, with stunning views that made our stay even more special. The attention to detail was outstanding, and it was clear that great care is taken to maintain the property. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to return. Highly recommended! A special mention has to go to the staff – they are the true stars of this hotel. If you stay here, make sure you find Odysseas! He genuinely made our stay unforgettable. His local knowledge, thoughtful recommendations, and ability to find the perfect solution for anything we needed were simply outstanding. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him, and he always went above and beyond with a smile. The level of service he provided was exceptional. Odysseas, we absolutely loved meeting you, and we'll definitely be coming back – not just for the hotel, but for you too!"

Saint Nicholas Hotel Samos
"We've been to many islands, in various months and seasons, but nowhere have we encountered rooms as cold as here. May is a beautiful month, full of fragrance and bloom, and that's why my family and I decided it was worth visiting this exceptionally green island! Unfortunately, not every resort is equipped to accommodate guests at this time of year. The lack of heating (even an air conditioner set to "heat") was a real pain, especially at night when the temperature dropped to 10 degrees Celsius. This meant the rooms were cold, and our towels were damp in the morning after an evening shower. Talking to the staff, who considered the property a typical vacation resort, was fruitless. This was all the more surprising to us because, whether in Turkey, Tunisia, Madeira, or the Canary Islands, no one refused to help us in this regard and provided appropriate solutions. This wasn't the case here. There were extra duvets and blankets and a multitude of additional dos and don'ts! On the day of departure, it turned out that, despite the transfer from the resort at 4 PM, departing guests were not entitled to any meals other than breakfast. Honestly, this is the first time we've encountered a situation where, according to prevailing standards, a stay at a resort should end with a meal chronologically preceding the first meal served on arrival (in our case, it was dinner). Nearby Turkey offers an example of a different type of "hospitality" that deserves recognition. Both the staff and management of tourist facilities go above and beyond to ensure that tourists' stays are so enjoyable that they want to return, recommending the facilities they've tried to their friends. In Tyrian resorts, the stay always ends with the last meal, even if it's a very early breakfast. Everything is included in the price of the stay, and there are no extra charges (this, of course, does not apply to services beyond the scope of the purchased package). Returning to our stay at Saint Nicholas on the island of Samos, the approach to tourist service is somewhat different. The resort staff, aware that the group's departure transfer was scheduled for 4 PM, offered guests the option of purchasing lunch for a nominal fee of €20 per person. Those wishing to have late checkout can also take advantage of the additional option for just €30. In short, a family of four who don't want to wait five hours outside the hotel (regardless of their package) to enjoy their stay should be prepared to pay an additional €110. Special thanks go to the cleaning staff, who went above and beyond in carrying out their duties. However, this is definitely not enough for me to give a much better rating and review. I'm certain that if the owners of this resort traveled to any corner of our beautiful world and encountered so many shortcomings, prohibitions, and restrictions, their enjoyment of a successful family vacation would be severely questioned and disappointed! The island itself is unique and worth seeing an"
