Hotel Mexico
"You guys at Trip should already know that I requested an extra bed for my 11-year-old son on May 3rd. A month later, upon arriving at Hotel Mexico, the director rudely informed us that they don't have extra beds and that their apartments are for that purpose. She said there were no triple rooms available and that you (Trip) never sent them the special requests, even though I received an email from you confirming that you had. Both Trip and Hotel Mexico have ruined my vacation. I'm still waiting for a supervisor from your company to call me, as the customer service operator told me someone would call back in 15 minutes, acknowledging that it was urgent and I was already at the accommodation. Both your company and the management of that hotel are absolutely awful. By the way, some people won't be able to sleep peacefully in many of the rooms where the terrace is barely 2 meters above the sidewalk of a public street."
Hotel Valle del Este
"Hotel is looking bit tired now but otherwise location is good, onsite golf also ok and Driving Range looking great"
Playavera
"Hotel stinks of bad drains / dead rodents"
Avent Verahotel
"Breakfast here is some of the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had. The best coffee we’ve tried in Spain. Staff were all very welcoming. Positive atmosphere."
Apartamentos Mexico
"Very good value for money, suitable for family trips"
Advise Hotels Reina
"Hello, we went to Advise Aparthotel during first week of August and faced a mix of good and bad situations. Starting with the positive (no need for much explanation): - location - very close to the beach - temperature of the water in the pool - pool with slides for both kids and adults - breakfast variety - tasty food overall - decent rooms for the price spent - the free wi-fi was a nice surprise, even thugh the signal is not very strong The "ok" items: - the staff - we found people with a welcoming attitude, but also some staff with negative posture, not at all welcoming in the restaurant. we can understand that people have good and bad days, but one same person was constantly with a mad and bored expression when welcoming guests, and that was not good. - parking possibility, but a little expansive in my opinion - a very hot lobby due to the size of it not allowing the AC to cool it. - only one set of towels for bath. we are used to 2 sets since women often use one for the body and one for the hair. - the pools are too deep in general. even for an adult - only providing one key card at arrival (but provided a second one upon request) Now the Bad items: - Dirty glasses everytime (lipstick, stains) and also plates. - when preparing tables some staff members dropped the paper towels in the floor and just picked up and placed on the tables. - ice creams and deserts not very cold, what took quality from it - some visible lack of organisation in the restaurant staff - was the first spanish hotel where the animation team only spoke in spanish. usually we hear the instruction at least in spanish and in english - very limited activies of the animation team, and the expression "Mari" is stuck in our brains, not for a good reason - dirty sheets and cushions in summary, an average experience. "Terrible free buffet. Queues of more than half an hour to get in to eat, more than 15 minutes to be served and then there was no food. There were also no plates and those that were there are wet and with food remains. The coffee machines didn't have milk,… in short it seems that nothing worked. There were many of us, they said. The capacity was apparently met but the kitchen and the service could not cope. Eat we didn't eat but they charged us if they charged us. We went for the Níjar Cup and although we had full board we ate out on the second day to avoid disaster again."
Torremar Natura 214 Ground Floor Naturist apartment, Vera Playa.
Virgen de las Angustias
"The house is spacious, with all the necessary kitchen utensils. Although in our opinion it lacks air conditioning in the rooms, since we could not leave the windows open because cats would enter. It needs some renovation in terms of bathrooms (old and wit"
