"The travel lodge itself looks and feels tired and in need of a refurb, but it was in the ideal location to attend a wedding. Unfortunately my mum ended up in hospital during our stay and within all our drama a mobile phone got left in a room. Helen after her shift drove over 40 mins to drop it of at the hospital for us. "When so many hotels are boutique and follow a similar deco the Two Bridges is refreshingly old fashioned. Very comfortable with lovely squishy leather sofas and chairs. And open fire and wood panelling adds to the feeling that you have stepped back in time. Friendly staff, Jocelyn on reception was so friendly and welcoming. Our room was quaint and very comfortable and the bathroom modern with lovely fragrant soap and towels that you can actually wrap around yourself. Perhaps the highlight of our stay was the wonderful food. Absolutely delicious and our breakfast in the morning was faultless and served by the very friendly staff. Will definitely return. The Two Bridges is a real gem...."

"My family treated me for my 70th. We are fairly regular diners as we live locally, but this was an exceptional evening! The meal was outstanding, the atmosphere warm as usual, and the service friendly. Thank you for complimentary wine! I hope we weren’t too noisy!!"
