Hotels in Xiaozhai/Shaanxi History Museum, Xi'an

The hotel is conveniently located on the west side of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, right next to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda Metro Station, making it easily accessible. It's also very close to Big Wild Goose Pagoda Square and the Grand Tang Dynasty Everbright City. In the evenings, we enjoyed strolling through the Grand Tang Dynasty Everbright City and Tang Paradise, and even caught the light show at the North Square of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda – all thanks to its fantastic location. The street the hotel is on is practically a 'Hanfu street,' lined with shops where you can rent traditional Hanfu attire and take photos, which I absolutely loved. All rooms have windows, and are fully equipped with air conditioning and hot water, ensuring a very comfortable stay. Before we checked out, the hotel even gave us a complimentary specialty fridge magnet, which my child adored. Overall, a fantastic Xi'an travel experience. Highly recommended!

I chose this hotel mainly for its downtown location, which was indeed convenient for my errands. I could walk to several shopping districts and office buildings nearby. However, after checking in, I found some noticeable drawbacks. The hotel's overall facilities are a bit old, some furniture in the room is worn, and I could see slight stains on the walls. The air conditioning was quite noisy when running, so I had to turn down the fan speed to barely fall asleep at night. What affected my experience the most was the noisy environment. Being in a street-facing room, I could hear constant traffic noise during the day, and there were also promotional broadcasts from shops downstairs. Even with the windows tightly closed, I could still faintly hear them, making it difficult to take a nap or work quietly. The service was decent; staff responded reasonably quickly but lacked proactive service awareness. If you don't have high expectations for the accommodation environment and only prioritize convenient transportation, this place might be an acceptable temporary stay. However, if comfort is important to you, I'd recommend comparing a few more options before making a choice.

The hostel is located inside area of Tang Paradise City and nearby Dayan Pagoda (it’s next to Four Season hotel) that are both famous attractions so you can walk around easily. It’s also convenient to go to metro for other attractions in the inner Xian city or Didi to Terra-cotta. The people of the hostel are very nice, friendly and helpful. I cannot speak Chinese but she tried her best to guide us through on NY’s Eve. Thank you for hosting us 🫶🏻🫶🏻 The room is a bit old but still in good conditions, free bottles of mineral water. General is good experience 🫶🏻

Everything is good. They only have one washing machine and heater. So we need to wait for some time to wash our cloths as we stay over there for one weeks. Remarkable service from Soon Xiao Ni and the crew provide daily breakfast. She is professionalism, attention to detail, and kindness made a big difference. I truly appreciate her dedication to her works.

The hotel environment is nice. It is very close to Xiaozhai subway station and the transportation is very convenient. I went out several times and it was very convenient. The customer service brother and sister at the front desk were also very nice. If I had any questions, they would enthusiastically solve them. The hotel aunt was also very nice. She would knock on the door around 6 pm to ask if I needed cleaning and if there was anything I needed (water, towels, toilet paper, etc.). Next is the key point. I prefer quietness. As a result, my room was very quiet (except for the occasional noise in the corridor, which is normal). I slept very well all night. If Xi'an wasn't too hot, I really want to stay a few more days~

The hotel is located in the central area of Xi'an, close to Datang Everbright City, Shaanxi Natural Museum, Qujiang International Conference Center and other attractions. The transportation is convenient. There are convenience stores, restaurants and special snacks nearby to meet the travel and life needs of tourists. The rooms are spacious and bright, clean and hygienic. All rooms are equipped with disposable towels, toilet pads and other facilities to provide a comfortable and warm living experience. The hotel service is warm and thoughtful, the front desk is intimate and responsive, cost-effective, and luggage storage is also available.

There was no AC and the staff didn’t notify me when I checked in. The temperature outside was 35C and the room was 30C at night. I couldn’t get any sleep and the staff couldn’t tell me when the AC would be fixed. I decided to check out after one night and spoke to CTrip.com to get a refund as the staff were not helpful. It’s a shame because it was a lovely room but the behaviour of the staff was disappointing.

The hotel is only a few hundred meters away from CapitaLand Plaza, the nearest shopping mall. Robots can deliver things at any time, which is very convenient. The ice and mineral water in the small refrigerator are free to use. The facilities and equipment in the room are relatively complete. The mattress is moderately soft and hard, and there are suitable pillows. The surrounding facilities of the hotel are not far from some attractions.

The hotel service was excellent. They offered complimentary desserts every evening, and any issues we had were promptly addressed. The price was also very reasonable, offering great value for money. We originally booked a family room, but upon check-in, we were upgraded to a room with two king-size beds, which allowed us to sleep very comfortably. Most importantly, they provided a drying rack, which was incredibly convenient for doing laundry during our multi-day stay. We didn't book breakfast initially, but when we decided to add it later, they still gave us a discount. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. The only minor drawback was its distance from the metro station, over 500 meters away, which took almost 10 minutes to walk, especially with young children. We also noticed that booking through Ctrip was slightly more expensive than elsewhere.

The hotel has a wonderful ambiance. As a solo traveler, I booked the smallest single room, but it was surprisingly spacious and spotlessly clean. There's a large, beautifully designed common area right off the elevator on the second floor, which feels very grand and is perfect for both work and relaxation. Facilities are excellent, including strong hot water pressure and effective central air conditioning. The location is superb; SEG Plaza is literally steps away, offering easy access to attractions and convenient transportation. Service was also great, and it truly offers excellent value for money. Highly recommended!
