Hotel G Yangon ★★★★
"The room was super noisy because of commercial AC units outside the window, but they can’t change the room for us as they told they have “a full booking” - but that’s a total lie - on booking websites they have plenty available rooms. Just don’t want to do their job obviously."
Pan Pacific Yangon ★★★★★
"1.The room was very clean. 2.The hotel is next to the shopping mall.Junction City 3. The staff were very welcoming. 4. The food selection is very diverse. 5. The hotel has a swimming pool and a gym."
Hotel Balmi ★★★
"staffs are helpful, able to communicate in english, overall experience is good"
Prestige Residences at Golden Valley by Grand United Hospitality ★★★★
"Nice swimming pool"
Green Star Hotel Yangon ★★★
"Great location. There's a staff member who speaks Korean. All the staff are very friendly. For cleanliness, you might need to squint a bit. It's good that there are restaurants and coffee shops nearby. The shopping mall is close by."
PARKROYAL Yangon ★★★★★
"LOCATION Excellent location. In the immediate vicinity of the central train station. A 15-minute walk from Sule, with all its bus lines. A good starting point for exploring the city on foot. Shopping centers are in the immediate vicinity. A 30-minute taxi ride from the airport. SERVICE Excellent welcome and service. Excellent attention at every moment, whether from the housekeeping staff, restaurant staff, concierge, or the gym/spa/pool staff. PS: Please note the $200 USD security deposit required for some reservations. This should be anticipated, although it is payable by credit card (check if this option is worth according to your bank's terms and conditions applied for transaction in Myanmar). ENVIRONMENT Quiet and safe neighborhood. Elegant and comfortable hotel. Harmonious and high-quality layout. Impeccable maintenance. ROOM Superior King Bed Room: Perfect for one person, with a desk area and a small sitting area. Bright. Well laid out. Comfortable. Very good quality bedding. Clean, high-quality linens. Spacious and clean bathroom. Hot water with good pressure. Very good Wi-Fi. Conveniently placed electrical outlets. Excellent lighting. Luggage storage available (for one bag). Pleasant city view. Central air conditioning system. It worked perfectly, but I didn't find the adjustments very user-friendly. BREAKFAST Large dining room. Well-spaced buffet area, open from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Elegant dining room. I preferred the back of the room for its quietness, privacy, and comfort. Attentive and courteous staff. A well-stocked and varied buffet. Yet, there was a noticeable difference in quality between the buffet, the kitchen staff, and the buffet presentation between weekdays and weekends. Some of the glass-fronted areas in the dining room were not clean at all: cobwebs, long-standing dust, and general grime. This needs improvement, as it's not what you'd expect from a hotel of this caliber. The buffet occupied most of my mornings; however, I'm not sure I would have wanted to pay an additional $20 USD for it if it wasn't already included in the reservation. FACILITIES *The hotel has all the facilities one would expect for a hotel of this standard. In conclusion, I benefited from a very good price offer through Trip.com, which accurately reflected the hotel's value for money. I was truly delighted with my stay and will keep the PARKROYAL on my list of favorites for a future trip."
Hotel Grand United - 21st Downtown ★★★
"Economical price, decent place."
Yangon Thanlwin Hotel ★★★★
"The Thanlwin meets all expectations. The staff is excellent and caters to every need. There's a Chinese restaurant (very good!), a Western restaurant (very good!), a rooftop pool, and a spa/massage area (very good but a bit pricey!). The prices are reasonable for the hotel's standard, though naturally a bit higher than other hotels. However, the quality is excellent. The food was exemplary, and the massages were extremely good, even if you could get them for half the price in Thailand. The cleanliness of the rooms is exemplary. The room amenities and size can only be described as sensational. I had a bathroom with a corner window and could see the pagoda from one of the top floors. Wonderful. The air conditioning is excellent, and the water pressure in the bathroom is perfect."
Inya Lake Hotel ★★★★
"Good review. My colleague stayed here for a business trip and found the hotel to be very nice."

Awei Metta (Yangon)
"Revisiting this hotel, I noticed the facilities have deteriorated. The hot water issue still hasn't been fixed. The central air conditioning controls have been sealed off and replaced with 'No Smoking' signs, and the new wall-mounted AC unit isn't powerful enough to cool the room properly."
Governor's Residence
"Our recent visit to the Governor's Residence was an absolutely outstanding experience from start to finish! Everything, from the moment we arrived, was truly exceptional. The food was nothing short of phenomenal. Each dish was expertly prepared, showcasing incredible flavors and presentation. It was clear that immense care and culinary skill went into every bite. Equally impressive was the fantastic service. The staff were attentive, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and enjoyment. Their genuine warmth and efficiency truly elevated the entire meal. Overall, the entire experience at the Governor's Residence was out of this world. It was a memorable occasion that exceeded all expectations. We can't recommend it highly enough for anyone seeking a truly premier dining and hospitality experience."
Chatrium Hotel Royal Lake Yangon
"This hotel used to be a Nikko Hotel in Japan, and it was bought and renovated by Chatrium Hotels, a luxury Thai hotel chain. The plumbing in the rooms is excellent, and the Japanese food is delicious. The caramel pudding at breakfast was fantastic, just like something from a Japanese coffee shop. For lunch, they offer afternoon tea and even a shabu-shabu set for one person. There's also a convenience store inside the hotel, and a large 1STOP supermarket conveniently located near the exit by the pool. Kandawgyi Park is very affordable for foreigners with an entrance fee of just 500 kyats, and it has many restaurants suitable for lunch. The Rakhine Mont Di at the Rakhine seafood restaurant across the street is exquisite. The hotel is located in a very safe area with many embassies, and the staff are all very courteous. It's no wonder there are so many Japanese guests."
Yangon Excelsior
"A beautifully preserved colonial-style hotel right in the heart of the city. From the moment you step inside, you feel as though you’ve travelled back in time. The hotel exudes class, charm, and understated elegance. There is so much more that could be said, but some experiences are best felt rather than described. Seeing truly is believing—go ahead, book a room, and enjoy a memorable stay"
Esperado Lakeview Hotel
"Very good recommend the place."
Hotel Scion Yangon
Mandarin Hotel Yangon
"Room is clean & modern. Location is far from downtown, but closer to the airport. It’s next to a local mall with some food options."
85SOHO Service Residence
"Clean and tidy service apartment at the Kandawgyi lake area"
Hotel Lavender
"The hotel is ideally located: the small rooftop veranda offers a great view of the Shwedagon Pagoda. The entrance is a five-minute walk away. There's a small, inexpensive market near the hotel, selling fruit and local shops. Four minutes from the hotel entrance, on the opposite side from the pagoda, there's a very clean, inexpensive café-veranda serving local cuisine. The bill there is under 40,000 chat for two. The hotel is very clean; it must have been Japanese until recently. The mattress and mattress pad are new, and the linens are good. The bathroom is decent, and the plumbing is in good order. A TV is provided. As elsewhere, you can call a taxi to the airport; the nightly rate is 40,000 chat for everyone. They can't book bus tickets to Bagan for foreigners anymore. No one can, not just this hotel, but anywhere in Yangon. The hotel itself is quiet; our room overlooked the monastery; we even heard monks chanting once."
Chan Myae Guest House
"The location is quite good, and the guesthouse staff are really friendly. There is no elevator and the rooms do not have windows, but the price more than compensates for that."
Best Western Chinatown Hotel Yangon
"Friendly staff, good breakfast, comfortable bed, good internet👍"
Wyne Hotel
"Clean and quiet, rich breakfast"
The Strand Yangon
"The atmosphere was amazing, truly exuding its historical charm as one of the luxurious hotels in the colonial period, and now tastefully revived as a boutique-esque hotel. Service was great, especially Thinzay and Htet who welcomed me and gave a tour around the room, and explained all services. Ingyin was also amazing in her service helping me with the checkout and trip to the airport. Overall great experience and would recommend for your stay in Yangon."
Melia Yangon
"The Hotel cleanliness is really good, and can see a good view of the swedagon Pagoda. Planning to visit again soon."
Hotel Parami
"The room was unsanitary, the floor was peeling, and the price was too high."
Zealax Hotel & Residence
"Wonderful hotel with amazing staff, the service is really great and an amazing sky bar"
