Country Garden Phoenix Hotel

This was a wonderful resort to stay at for a family of four visiting Zhangjiajie. It’s in the middle of both the forest park and tianmen mountain. For those of you who don’t speak Chinese, Wendy goes out of her way to help guests. This was the first resort to call me to schedule our pickup time from the high speed rail station! This was very nice. Highly recommend this old Italian themed resort.

My first time travel for soo faar away in China, so of course that was trembling from the beginning, but fortunately We've discovered this hotel with the most professional staff in service, even in English speaker by the name of "Wendy"! She has very attractive energy, afterwards You'll experience the most comfort feelings during whole Your staying time in this hotel)

This was a surreal, memorable stay and I loved this hotel despite its flaws. It's huge and opulent - but it was eerily quiet too. We stayed in peak season but the hotel seemed empty. The pool was deserted and the billiard room etc were closed because there were no users - but to their credit the staff opened everything up just for us when we asked! Overall I loved our stay here - everyone is amazingly friendly, Wendy at reception was particularly great as she speaks good English and helped get things sorted for us. The hotel is in between wulingyuan and zhangjiaje but taxis aren't expensive. If you treat is as a base for your trip, it works well for both sides of town.

This place was incredible, for the price I still can’t understand how they can offer such a beautiful building and such fantastic service. Wendy in particular stood out, nothing was too much to ask. Highly recommend adding Wendy on WhatsApp so that you can talk to her as needed. She truly goes above and beyond. Place is so beautiful, if you told me it used to be a place I would believe you. Recommend the private driver service they offer, it was much cheaper than the DIDIs.
