We would give this 1000 stars if we could! The rooms were gorgeous and luxurious, the view was spectacular, and the staff were absolutely incredible. Tan Jin in particular went above and beyond anything one could expect from a hotel. She arranged transport from the train station to the hotel and back, she upgraded our room for free when she heard we were on our honeymoon, she constantly offered water and rice wine, she booked our trips to the Grand Canyon, the Zhang jia Jie dance show, the Zhang Jia Jie National Park, Tianmen mountain and more, AND THEN she would sit down with us and personally design a walking route through all these tourist attractions that was specific to our tastes. She helped us find secret back paths to help us avoid crowds and catch specific events that were only happening during the night. No language barrier or special request was too much for her. For example, she let us know we could drop off our luggage at the luggage holding service at the entrance to Tianmen mountain. The staff there wanted us to pick it up at 7:00, meaning we would miss the light show. When Tan Jin heard this, she said, "No way. Let me call them right now, " and five minutes later, we could pick them up at 8:30... and did I mention we were only staying with the hotel for 1 night? She was still assisting us for free TWO DAYS after we checked out. Whoever is in charge of the hotel PLEASE GIVE HER A RAISE!! We will be recommending this hotel to absolutely everyone visiting China. It should be a tourist destination in and of itself.

We stayed for 2 nights at Wangyunju. Very clean room and powerful Air conditioning. After a full day hiking and walking, a cool room is what you need. Location is great, close to the east gate of forest park and right across the street is Mei Li Xiang Xi. There are many restaurants and shops nearby as well. Breakfast at hotel is great too especially the spicy version rice noodle. Owner and all the staff members are super friendly and helpful. Feifei, our assistant, spent time with us to customize our travel plans for forest park and Tian Men Shan. Zhangjiajie is beyond beautiful but without Feifei and wangyunju, I don’t think everything could turn out to be this smooth.

We cannot understate how wonderful of an experience we had at this hotel. To begin with, the room that we were given was practically spotless and well laid-out; on top of that, it came equipped with voice-control features which could turn off the lights, close the curtains, or adjust the air-conditioning at our convenience. Throughout our 4-day stay, we did not experience any major inconveniences whatsoever - the room was comfortable, cozy, and a relief to be in after a long day of scaling hundreds, if not thousands of steps. However, the main highlight which brought our stay to another level was the hospitality. The warmth and kindness of the staff made us feel like we were truly at home, to the point where we extended our stay by a day. They had an undeniably incredible knowledge of the weather conditions and routes in the major tourist attractions around the town. Not only did they help us work out the confusing routing around the attractions, especially when landslides blocked key roads, but even helped us book the tickets, checking in on us via text message. When we would arrive back to the hotel, we would occasionally hear a knock on our door - it would be a staff member giving us complementary spreads of grapes and plums. In particular, Li Yen was extremely helpful and hospitable throughout our entire stay, always there as a way to seek clarification and support for planning our activities. Overall, while the hotel room was comfortable and pleasant, it was the service, conviviality, and altruism of the staff that elevated this experience from a 5/5 to a 6/5. If given the opportunity, we would certainly return to this hotel.

Staffs were super friendly, assisted in purchasing tickets beforehand and explained how to tour around in detailed. Desserts and teas were always served whenever we are in the hotel. Limited choice for breakfast. Hotel located approx 20mins walk away from the Zjj national park entrance.

We love to stay in this Hotel, everything was fantastic. The hotel is full of beautiful plants, very close to the east gate of the national park, and also good restaurants. The staff were so friendly and helpful.

The hotel was really good and especially the hotel host. She deserves 10/5 stars, no doubt! Fantastic experience with her. However, there were some bad things with the hotel itself that honestly has to be mentioned. The breakfast buffet closed early some days (before scheduled time). There was a lot of dust in the room Due to insufficient cleaning. And also one of the days i was there, the house cleaning did not fix my room

In a great location with very friendly and helpful staff. Well appointed room with electric curtains, electronic bidet and good WiFi. Their restaurant makes surprisingly good wood fired pizzas. It is a little tired though, and the bed was a bit too hard for my old bones.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, which is perfectly located for visiting Zhangjiajie National Park. Being so close to the park entrance allowed us to start our hikes early in the morning, making the most of our days. The staff were exceptionally kind and attentive throughout our stay. One young woman in particular went out of her way to make us feel welcome—she was incredibly sweet and helpful. We felt truly pampered, with thoughtful touches like complimentary fresh fruit, tea, and local sweeties. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable, providing a relaxing retreat after long days of exploring. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

You will not be disappointed choosing a smaller property! The level of service and personalization rivals any larger corporate hotel. Do be worried about any language barrier, the staff is extremely helpful and will make sure your stay is perfect, planning and coordinating anything you want to do. The free breakfast had a good amount of selection and was high quality food. The main reason I chose this property were the rooms, definitely being the best part (other than the central location). They are very spacious and unique, giving a very natural but modern feel.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff went above and beyond to make our visit unforgettable. Special thanks to the team who handled all our reservations — bus, park/excursions tickets, the theater (just in front of the hotel) — everything was perfectly arranged. They were attentive, thoughtful, and always ready to assist.   We were particularly touched by the personal touches: every afternoon, they brought us fresh fruit and tea to our room, which made us feel truly welcomed and cared for. The service, cleanliness, and attention to detail were outstanding. We’ll definitely stay here again on our next trip!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay! The staff was amazing and so kind. Every night they brought tea and some fruits to our room and were always available for our questions. 谭锦 was so kind to help us book tickets and we wouldn’t have enjoyed the forest park as much as we did without her help! Plus, the cat and dog are lovely and super friendly ❤️

This place is a very tranquil oasis, extremely close to the East Gate of Wulingyuan. We loved our room but most of all we really appreciated our hostess Li Yan. She was very helpful and informative and gave us lots of surprising treats which we greatly enjoyed. We had a car transfer from Zhangjiajie as well which was super helpful to make sure we came to the right place. Sadly we only stayed one night, I wish I had booked longer, but no doubt we will return

Some may consider this location as an advantage, however it is too noisy with all that hustle and bustle around, the building itself has a lot of businesses inside apart from the hotel itself, so there are always a lot of people. It is also not too new, it seemingly welcomed a lot of guests already. I can’t say it’s ultimately bad , but there are definitely much better options for the price

Absolutely amazing hospitality and service. Unable to fault this place. Prior to arrival a housekeeper/host will reach out to you via WeChat, they can help with bookings and itineraries. This homestay is also next to the Charming XiangXi performance would highly recommend a visit there too!. Our host was FeiFei or 狒狒. She was the best, they have 1 dog and 1 cat who are absolute darlings. Unbelievable service during downtime, they cook you food over the roaster and tea. Would come back again and again.
