The B&B is really great, the room is comfortable and spacious, very clean, the mattress is soft and I slept till dawn. I have been traveling for four or five days and this is the best hotel I have ever come across. What moved me the most was that after returning from Tianmen Mountain, I had a meal in his restaurant. The cooking skills were first-class, and I think it is one of the best Hunan dishes. My parents also praised it highly. The scenery did not keep me, but this restaurant kept my heart. Highly recommended!

Super clean, the room is beautiful, equipped with all sorts of amenities, and smells lovely. It has everything you could need.
The staff is very friendly and helpful in planning visits to the park, buying tickets, etc. They communicate well with their translator.
The hotel is smoke-free, which is a real plus in China. It's also very close to the city center, near the theater and plenty of places to eat or stroll. But it's in a quiet area by the river, with beautiful views and complete peace and quiet for relaxing.
The bed and pillows are very comfortable.
The breakfast is very complete and delicious; they also offer milk and cereal if you don't fancy the traditional Chinese breakfast.
The laundry service is a great bonus.

My recent stay at XiFuWan Resort Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the warm greeting from the owner made us feel right at home. The owners, a genuinely kind husband and wife duo, went above and beyond to ensure our experience was memorable and comfortable.
Upon check-in, we were pleasantly surprised to receive a lovely basket of fresh fruits—a thoughtful touch that truly reflected their generosity. They even went the extra mile by creating a WeChat group labeled ”VIP” to keep us updated on local attractions and assist us during our stay, which added a personalized touch to the experience.
The owners were particularly helpful in arranging tickets for the mountains and the famed Bailong Elevator, making our adventures seamless. They provided complimentary pick-up and drop-off service to the east gate of the mountain, which was incredibly convenient.
During our stay, my mother experienced some abdominal pain, and the compassion demonstrated by the owners was heartwarming. The husband personally took us to the hospital and assisted us through every step of the process, ensuring my mother was taken care of from A to Z. There, we experience what visiting a hospital in China is like. Its very fast and convenient.
Location-wise, XiFuWan Resort Hotel is perfectly situated in the bustling city center, surrounded by an array of conveniences including HeyTea, cyber cafés, supermarkets, and even a hospital nearby. It’s the ideal spot for anyone looking to explore the area without sacrificing comfort or service. Not to mention, there is also a halal restaurant nearby, ideal for muslim guests.
The service we received at XiFuWan Resort Hotel exceeded our expectations, giving us an experience worthy of more than just five stars. 1. We were met at the airport and taken to the train station on a free comfortable transfer.
2. There is a free transfer to the National Park there and back.
3. Delicious breakfast: steamed buns, jiaozi, eggs, fresh fruits and vegetables - and all this with a stunning view of the mountains!
4. The territory of a hotel is much larger than it looks on the photo, very well-groomed and interesting. I recommend to plan 1 day to just relax at the hotel!
5. The hotel has a small cute pool with a view of the mountains.
6. The hotel staff confidently speaks English and helped us with literally every little thing! They bought tickets, planned every day of our stay, helped with routes and gave their recommendations. They answered in the chat literally instantly on any question! They were worried and wrote to us if we stayed somewhere late.
7. Free tea tasting of local tea in English was very interesting! You can buy local tea and pottery in the store.
8. During our stay, we counted 3 dogs, 7 cats, 3 kittens and 2 puppies that live on the territory of the hotel. All animals are very friendly and gave this place an incredibly warm and homely atmosphere.
9. Laundry is free, we used it several times, everything is great!
10. You can order dinner at any time. All the food is delicious, home-cooked and made with love!
11. The room was wonderful and very spacious with a large bed, great pillows and very soft linens.
12. We left the hotel very early, so the staff brought us breakfast to go. It was very nice!

LLyndsey99Our stay here was perfect, what an amazing place! The staff are exceptional, and really care about guest experience. They provide transport to and from the east gate of the national park, and will help you plan your day. The service was perfect even down to the small details, like putting mosquito repellent out on the table we liked to play cards at, and providing us with a printed photo of our favourite memory there to take away with us.
The room was great, the views were breathtaking. After a long day at the park, we really appreciated having a small swimming pool there for a dip. Food options were good - we enjoyed our dinners and the breakfast buffet. Orders can be placed in advance on WeChat when you are on your way back from a day at the park. There was a decent range of both soft and alcoholic drinks available.
What we loved the most is that they have struck the perfect balance between luxury and a kind of homely comfort. We felt so relaxed here. An added bonus for us was their friendly dogs and cat, as we were starting to miss our own dogs at home by this point of our trip.
The location was fantastic. It is close to the national park, but the views are so good that if you choose to relax at the hotel you won’t miss anything. If our room wasn’t booked for the following days, we would have extended our stay. One of our favourite places we have ever stayed, not just in China. Thank you to everyone at Celestial Vally for an excellent stay!

Rooms: There were 5 of us friends and we had a family room and executive/superior room. Both were clean incuding the other hotel areas.
Service: Best part for us was service! 😍 The reception staff especially Guo and May and the hotel owner were all so helpful, responsive and helped us plan our itinerary.
Location: Cannot recommend this hotel enough, we had a great time! Location was so close to Baofeng lake and the east gate to national park. Half hour to 72 Towers and train station.
Amneties: breakfast had limited options for vegetarian but we knew that and it was not a massive deal for us. We used the laundary room which was pretty easy and they have plenty of umbrellas for rainy days.
10/10 would highly recommend

My recent three-night stay at Zhangjiajie Sunshine Hotel was absolute perfection! The second I walked in, the front desk team welcomed me warmly and finished check-in in minutes—no tedious waiting at all.
My room was impeccably clean, with a plush bed that had me sleeping soundly each night. Waking up to the faint view of Zhangjiajie’s lush mountains through the window was a lovely surprise, and the room’s quietness made it ideal for relaxing after day trips.

What truly made this stay unforgettable was Service Steward Xiao Yu—he remembered my preference for early breakfast, helped arrange a timely taxi to the scenic area, and even left a note with local snack recommendations.
I’ll 100% book Zhangjiajie Sunshine Hotel again on my next trip and can’t recommend it enough—especially if you get to be assisted by Xiao Yu!

XXYHJNThe room was spotless. The location is excellent, just a short taxi ride from the scenic area entrance, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. A charming little stream runs right by the entrance, offering beautiful scenery, and you can even go down for a paddle. The owner was incredibly kind and went out of their way to thoroughly explain tips for exploring the scenic area. There's also a third-floor terrace, perfect for drying clothes, which offers fantastic views. This is a truly honest review – we had an absolutely wonderful time!

GGuest UserComplimentary railway station shuttle, warm service and hospitality, nice room decoration, bidet with remote control, game-changing Xiaodu home assistant, decently-equipped mini gym. Location wise can be quite subjective (quiet and serene at the price of 3-5 minute taxi ride to Biaozhimen or the more happening Wuling Road). A bit overwhelming to the extent that staffs were always occupied and I did not manage to get pillow set for the third occupant in my room. In the end, I had to use zabuton on tatami as the makeshift pillow. Please inform the front desk if you do not want housekeeping service, as the cleaner might have overlooked my Do Not Disturb lamp.

TTuty KI love Miss Inn! The hotel is cosy and comfortable and conveniently located on Wuling Road. I believe the rooms have themes. The host kindly helped carry my bag up. My room faced Wuling Road but it wasn’t that noisy. The host is very kind and patient and he helped explain and advise the route to take in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. The East Gate to the Park is only a 12-minute walk from the hotel and the bus station is also within a 7-minute walk. There is also a resident kitty. When I booked, I didn’t know there’s a halal restaurant only two doors away (with sign in green) - what a bonus!
