Great location, wonderful variety of breakfast, and great staff.
The proximity to Messe was the best part.
Worried the weather in Frankfurt was dark and cold, but the room was facilitated with a good heating system.
Water was strong, hot/cold water no problem, and very clean.
Only thing to be reminded is there's no USB outlet in the room only power outlets.
Really a very cost-effective hotel, the room is the same as the picture introduced (forgot to take a photo) the surrounding environment is great, the air is super good! You can take a walk to the forest to breathe fresh air, the pedestrian street is also very good, say back to the hotel, the service is very good, the cleaning is very clean, the breakfast is also very rich, the children do not want to go, but because the room can not continue to live, it is a pity!
This hotel is very good, especially the front desk has a black brother who is very friendly, and sends me a free drink coupon every day, so I have drunk free white wine for many days there.
If you find a cheap rate, go ahead - the hotel is fine and located in a convenient location. The rooms are small and slightly dated, but they are designed well and come with all amenities you'll need. However, my room was not cleaned (two days in a row)! The staff are not overly friendly either and didn't even bother to check whether my room was ready when I arrived slightly earlier than 3 pm. I didn't have breakfast at the hotel, so cannot comment on it.

The hotel is conveniently located, just a 2-3 minute walk to the train station. Unfortunately, the area around the station has a lot of graffiti and many homeless people at night, which made us feel a bit uneasy. The room was a bit cramped, and the facilities were comparable to a Chinese 3-star hotel. However, it was clean and had all the necessary amenities. The wall behind the bed featured a large mural of the Frankfurt subway, which was quite a unique touch. You can ask the front desk on the ground floor for slippers and extra towels.
Room was so clean and facilitated with modern air conditioner and usb c ports. It does not have slippers for guests.
Breakfast was good enough but not with varied tastes, not so much international buffet.

We stayed in Frankfurt at the beginning of our trip in Germany and found that you have to be careful when booking hotels in northeast area of the central station in Frankfurt but the area to the south where this inn is located is perfectly safe. This is a Japanese style business hotel and we tried out a location in South Korea that we enjoyed and we enjoyed this one too.
We got the room with two twin beds and they have standardized furnishings and technology no matter where you are in the world at these hotels. The air conditioning was very good and had a good quiet function that maintained the temperature of the room perfectly. The beds were comfy and the pillows and blankets were just thick enough. The room has a very well planned layout and utilizes the space well with a desk area, coffee/tea station, mini fridge and a seating area by the window. There is plenty of lighting in the room and some quiet switches on the lamps. A pleasant surprise for us was the view we got of the central station and many buildings nearby - we could sit there and watch trains and trams come and go.
The bathroom is compact but mighty with its well thought out modular design. There is a Japanese toilet with lots of pleasant features. The sink's faucet can fill the bath tub and also controls the shower wand and pressure. The shower has a wide spot in the middle that is perfect for standing in and has an overhead rain shower head with good pressure and good temperature control. The water for drinking can get pretty cold which was nice and refreshing.
The location was good and walking along the river to the old town area is a very pleasant stroll. There are some restaurants, bars and shops nearby. The central station has lots of trains, busses and trams that can take you anywhere in the city. The S9 train departs for the airport every 20 minutes and takes about 12 minutes to get there.
There is a restaurant in the lobby area that has good prices for beer. There is also a laundry area in the hotel and a large parkade across the street from the hotel. I dropped off my wife first before returning a car and there was a fire alarm and she found it difficult on how to exit. Thankfully no issues but they need to have clearer signage.
The breakfast was very good with plenty of variety including mostly western style breakfast options like scrambled eggs, sausages, bread and cheese. When we stayed there were some noodles for breakfast. They had juices, tea and a coffee machine. We found the cups provided for the coffee machine were too small for a few of the options. There is a courtyard to sit in and a large cafeteria style seating area. Breakfast is popular and was especially busy after 8 on Saturday morning when we visited. They provide trays that you can load up and bring to your table but many people were forgetting to clear their tables and bring them to the tray racks because the staff does not clear tables and is more focused on making sure all food spots are well stocked.

PPart time travelerLocation is excellent, about a 2/3 minute walk from Frankfurt main station, has a small supermarket also within a 2 minute walk. Adequate amenities, you can alway ask receptionist if there is anything else you need (some you may need to pay for) nice spacious room with black out curtains and rooms kept a good amount of sound out. Shower was amazing hot water and good pressure. Would definitely stay again at the hotel. Just one major thing to consider before booking. At first we didn’t understand why the surrounding would affect the hotels review but we now see why it should be made aware. Nothing is wrong with the hotel and it’s not the hotel’s fault but on the street and surrounding streets you get a lot of homeless or people on ***** and can get quite dangerous and feel unsafe especially female guests. It’s not just 3/4 people either we witnessed at night around 15 people on the street gathering and would get cat called literally 10 steps away from the hotel.
CChinI thought this place was fine. It was clean. The gym was a little bit lacking, but it was really cheap compared to other options of this level room was smallish, but plenty enough for solar travel and probably larger than most at this price and location.
FFrank Sch.The room was super clean and well-equipped. It's not the most modern, but everything you need is there. We felt comfortable and had a lovely view of the lake. The breakfast was equally good, although some of the cheeses looked like they'd been sitting around for a while.

GGuest UserEverything is perfect. Big spacious room. Interesting design. Good view.

Its clean and neat. Note Room service only after 3 days.
Location is walkable to old town.
GGuest UserI've travelled more than 100 countries todate and have stayed in more than 15 different hotels in Germany. In terms of service level, the hotel staff during check in wasn't that friendly nor warm at all. The Staff even took deposit on my debit without informing me (she only mention about hotel tax). She only inform me after I noticed EUR80 being deducted and asked her about it.
On the day I left on 26th Apr at around 6am, there was only 1 staff at the counter but he was at the crew only counter. He rejected my request to store my luggage with the hotel even though I will be returning in a week's time and check in again on 2nd May. He didn't even bother to check my next booking and simply told me to store it at the airport.
The hotel also deducted hotel tax for 2 persons even though I was the only one checking in on 24th Apr. I emailed the hotel about this and agreed to rectify this overcharge (by the hotel) when I check in on 2 May.
Unfortunately, I injured my ankle on 28th Apr while travelling around Munich and have not recovered since. As it is very inconvenient for me to drag my big luggage together with an in injured leg (I have been limping), I had to book Hilton hotel which is located much closer to the train station and the airport. Obviously, Steigenberger rejected my cancellation request since the booking is non cancellation.
Well, for the sake of my poor ankle, I have no choice but to forgo the close to US$400/- paid upfront to the hotel. But never never again will I ever book this hotel again.
Btw, Staff at Hilton and the other hotels I've stayed in the last 1 week were much more friendlier and helpful. Hilton is even willing to store my luggage for 12 days.
LLukas MariusI booked the room with breakfast but the hotel said it was 28euro per night extra so I didn’t use the breakfast but the breakfast according to my booking was included I feel cheated for my money with this. Booking a room for 168euro and includes breakfast for three then in the end I didn’t use the service since the service agent at the counter was not professional and told me it’s not including breakfast.
Also I tried to call the counter for the whole day and no one picked up the phone. Very disappointed and even though the location and room was great I will not be coming back due to this.
GGuest UserThe room was clean and had all the necessary facilities. It's very close to the city center and not far from the train station, making transportation convenient. A great choice for solo travelers, and overall, excellent value for money.
GGuest UserThe hotel is located in the center and you can walk to the landmark of the city easily. The river is a few steps away, there are many restaurants around. The concept and interior design of the hotel is uniquely fun and makes you feel good. For example there was an ukulele as part of the decoration in the room I stayed in and it was nice for me to find this musical instrument in my room, which i learned to play in my childhood and put aside. There is a kitchen on the top floor and you can cook your own food if you wish. There are also some foods and drinks if you want to buy you take it and write down on the list on the table, to pay when you check out the hotel. İt was a good experience and I liked the hotel.
