We stayed at Savoy Hotel for a couple of days. The staff were very accommodating, and the breakfast was good, though it could use more drink options. The location is convenient, as it is close to malls, restaurants, fast food outlets, convenience stores, and the airport.
Thank you sbbl. It was a great stay! The atmosphere was very nice because all staff are friendly and accommodating whenever we needed something/assistance. Buffet breakfast is the best and plated breakfast as well. Recommend staying here next time you are in Manila. My husband is an American who has a very particular standard for service at hotels, restaurants and anywhere else costumer service is required and he found no faults in the service here. From checking in to checking out, service is wonderful. Thank you and Mabuhay!
The hotel is not bad overall. However, during check-in we asked about the massage service. The administrator told us to come back in two hours to make a reservation. When we returned, we were informed that there were no available slots and that we had to book online.
However, there was no information about online booking for massages on the website. This service was very important to us, as we had a long flight and only an 8-hour stay.
I extended my stay for one more night and requested to be transferred to another room. This tiime I was quite satisfied with the room. It was clean and I did not feel stuffy like my previous room. It was quieter, though, voices/sounds coming from the outside and other rooms are still audible.
Service at in the hotel restaurants still takes long. Foods are pretty good taste wise.
Added bonus is free luggage storage while waiting for a late flight and free shuttle pick up and delivery to the airport.
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The first thing we noticed was how immaculately clean the entire property was—from the lobby to our room, the maintenance is clearly a top priority.
What truly set this experience apart, however, was the outstanding staff. We were traveling with an elderly family member who uses a wheelchair, and the team went above and beyond to ensure they were comfortable. The security team and bellmen( i wish i got their names for commendation) were incredibly proactive, assisting us with carrying the wheelchair and helping our family member in and out of the car with great care and patience.
It is rare to find a team so attentive to the needs of guests with mobility challenges. The overall service is well up to standard, and the helpfulness of the staff made our trip stress-free. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a seamless and professional experience.
I recommend this hotel for a weekend getaway near south of Manila. It’s near SM MOA, Ikea, Parqal, and other Manila Bay establishments. The room is small and does not have a view, but it is complete. The room has mini fridge, microwave oven, study desk, safety deposit box, hair dryer, bedroom slippers, and two (daily) free bottles of water. The toiletries include shampoo, conditioner, lotion, toothbrush, and body soap. We stayed for 3 nights, but the slippers were not changed and we had to request for towels (they quickly provided though). The highlight of our stay is the breakfast. They changed the food everyday, but I recommend that you try the pancakes and the noodle station.
I stayed at Hotel Sogo for 5 nights and 4 days during my convention at SMX. Overall, my stay was comfortable and convenient.
The hotel is near SMX, which made it easy for me to travel to and from the convention. The room was clean and organized. The bed was comfortable, and the air conditioner worked well.
The staff were polite and helpful whenever I had questions or requests. Check-in and check-out were smooth and fast. The place felt safe and quiet, which helped me rest after long convention days.
The food was okay and affordable. The hotel is also near malls and restaurants, which was very convenient.
Overall, Hotel Sogo is a good choice if you are attending an event at SMX and want an affordable and accessible place to stay. I would recommend it for short or work-related stays.
We chose Holiday Inn Express Manila Newport World Resorts primarily for its convenient location near NAIA Terminal 3 and its walking access via Runway Manila. While the location is definitely a strong advantage, it’s worth noting that the hotel shuttle bus does not operate until after 10:00 AM. The walk itself takes about 10 minutes, but the pathways are not very luggage-friendly — uneven and not ideal for rolling suitcases. In hindsight, it’s more practical to spend around ₱100+ for a Grab.
During a previous stay in November 2025, we had a very positive experience. However, this stay in February 2026 was quite disappointing. The room we were assigned was located right next to the expressway, and noise from passing vehicles could be heard at all hours of the day and night. Despite being on a higher floor, we also encountered mosquitoes in the room, and unfortunately, even a large cockroach appeared on the vanity while I was brushing my teeth — which was very off-putting.
Breakfast was simple and adequate, but we felt there could be more variety and better turnover of food options.
On a positive note, check-in and check-out were smooth, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating — especially with our request for a late check-out, which we appreciated.
It does feel like unless you pay for rooms facing the airport, you may be allocated less desirable rooms. Considering the price point — particularly for the Philippines — the room rates feel somewhat overpriced for $140-$170 AUD a night. Additionally, if you book through third-party platforms like Trip.com, you won’t earn IHG rewards points, which is something to keep in mind.
Overall, it was a standard stay, but given our previous experience, we had higher expectations and left feeling very disappointed. That said, the location near NAIA Terminal 3 remains a key advantage. We hope that continued loyalty to IHG might offer better experiences in the future, and we may consider staying again when traveling back to the Philippines.
Good overnight stay. Bed was fine, room was clean and just the right size, view was of the Manila bay. They stopped giving plastic amenities (shampoo, soap, etc) and have the dispensers already which helps reduce plastic waste. Water pressure in the toilet and shower is good. In room dining service was also fine, they were busy during breakfast which is normal and the food reached us exactly after 45 minutes. Tried the rooftop bar and there was ample selection of drinks, view was relaxing and air was cool last night. Really convenient to have a connecting walkway from the 4th floor of the hotel to Ayala Mall Manila Bay. All staff were friendly and polite and greeted us if we see them along the hall.
Would have been better if they allowed at least up to 1pm late checkout.

JJane MorallosWe had a great stay in this hotel.
the staff are all warm and welcoming!
Amenities: we only use the pool and we don’t have anybody with us, it’s all for ourselves so we enjoyed it so much.. Though the pool is just small.
breakfast buffet is just OK.. I could wish tbey can have more to offer., but nonetheless the food tastes nice and very Filipino.
GGuest UserLocation is near from shopping mall. Very convenient and accessible. For the price if you are looking for the cheapest one without spend a lot of money then its a good choice specially if you are looking for sleeping room only. The staffs are all polite and willing to help. You must try🤗

JJazzy DGreat location in BGC, clean rooms, but noticeable smoke smell and average breakfast
We stayed at F1 Hotel Manila in Bonifacio Global City (BGC) as a family group and found it to be a convenient option right in the heart of BGC.
Pros:
• Location is fantastic — walking distance to Bonifacio High Street, Uptown Mall, and plenty of restaurants, cafes, and shops. Perfect base for exploring BGC
• Rooms were clean and comfortable.
• Staff were a real highlight: concierge was friendly and helpful, security and floor staff were exceptionally nice and attentive.
Cons:
• The room smelled heavily of cigarette smoke from the moment we entered — quite strong and unpleasant, especially for non-smokers.
• Breakfast was just average. The food selection was okay but nothing special, the breakfast room felt small and crowded for the number of guests, and there were long queues every morning for the coffee machine. It would have been much better if staff served coffee or added a second machine to reduce the waiting time.
Overall, a solid choice if you want to be right in the middle of BGC’s action and can tolerate the smoke issue (which hopefully gets addressed). The location and staff are the biggest strengths.
GGuest UserExcellent location; close to SM Aura, Market Market, Bonifacio High Street, Venice Grand Canal Mall, Bus and jeepney terminal, and of course cats!!! We had an amazing stay here for 3 nights. We made use of the facilities such as oven, electric kettle, refrigerator hair dryer, hangers, and swimming pool. The hotel staff are warm and helpful . It would be nice to be back here! 💕

GGuest UserThe price is affordable, rooms are clean enough, and people are friendly. Also, it is convenient to travel to all destinations, equally close.
However, there's only one hairdryer in the building, which makes it super inconvenient, and no slippers are provided. Another concern would be safety, Pasay city is more local, you can experience authentic lifestyle, but there are risks of getting into trouble I think.
All in all, after living 3 days there, I would still recommend travelers this hotel.
