The Ancient City of Miletus

When I traveled to Turkey, one of the main destinations I visited was the 'Old City of Miletus'. It is one of the most important archaeological sites in Turkey, an important ancient city with a rich history and ancient culture. Miletus is located about 20km south of the city of Kusadasi on the western coast of Turkey. The city was founded in the 2nd millennium BC and was an important commercial center and major city in ancient times. Miletus is famous for its ancient history and archaeological artifacts that reflect the splendor and culture of ancient civilizations. When I arrived in Miletus, I was captivated by the beauty of the city and the splendor of its urban design. My tour began with a visit to one of the city's most famous landmarks, the grand Roman theater. The theater could accommodate about 15,000 spectators, and some of its parts are still in good condition today, allowing visitors to imagine the old theatrical performances. Then she headed to the Roman Agora, the central square in the old city that was used for public gatherings and social activities. The Agora was surrounded by temples and shops, reflecting the spirit of social life of that era. My trip to the old city of Miletus was an amazing experience. It was a great opportunity to enjoy the rich history and culture of this ancient city, explore ancient monuments, and delve into the ancient history of Turkey.
