Sailimu Lake, located beside the National Highway 30 in Bole City, has a full lake circuit of 92 kilometers and an altitude of around 2000 meters, with no risk of altitude sickness. The road around the lake is very easy to travel on, just pay attention to your speed. It is recommended to enter from the east gate and exit from the south gate (currently, the south gate is only for exiting, haha), and the exit from the south gate leads to the Guozigou Bridge. I like those photo spots that are not mainstream yet yield great shots, many of which are not designated stopping points, haha ✔️ Wild tulips (already in full bloom), near 17km counterclockwise from the east entrance, photography tip: hold your phone low, pick a few flowers for the foreground, compress the space between the flowers, and you'll get the feeling of a sea of flowers. ✔️ Yellow Ranunculus and purple flowers (just bloomed, early stage), near the West Sea Grassland, a super large patch right by the road. ✔️ Golden purple flower rest area towards the south gate about 10km away, this place is crowded with photographers. ✅ The section from Sailimu Lake's Kele Chongzhu to the south gate has beautiful scenery, and there are a lot of flowers in late May, so you can plan to spend more time there. ❗️Precautions ① When there is sun at Sailimu Lake, you can wear summer clothes, but it's very cold in the mornings, evenings, or when it's cloudy or raining, so wear a thick coat. ② Be sure to protect yourself from the sun, as the ultraviolet rays are particularly strong. ③ There is plenty of hot water, but very, very few food options. ④ There are not many accommodations around Sailimu Lake, and they are expensive. You can choose to stay in Bole City, Qingshuihe Town, or Wenquan County. ⑤ Camping is currently okay at Sailimu Lake.
