Looking for Xue Tao near Wangjiang Tower

I have long admired Xue Tao's talent, and I have been to Chengdu several times but have not been able to pay a visit. This time I am determined to visit the place where Xue Tao lived and is buried. In fact, Xue Tao's memorial is located in the eastern part of the city center, in Wangjiang Park. Wangjiang Park is located on the banks of the Jinjiang River, free to visitors, with towering ancient trees and lush bamboo covering every corner of the park, forming a small bamboo sea. There is a small body of water in the park, and a pavilion called Xue Tao Pavilion by the water. In the pavilion is a stele that simply records Xue Tao's life and the origin of the pavilion. Further north is an area of ancient buildings, with an entrance fee of twenty yuan. This is actually the original site of the memorial to Xue Tao since the Ming and Qing dynasties, with Xue Tao's well, which should be a relic of the Ming dynasty. There is also a tomb of Xue Tao, which is a memorial tomb from the 1990s. It is said that the original tomb is now in Sichuan University. Worth seeing is the Xue Tao Memorial Hall, which details Xue Tao's life, from her invitation by Shu Gao, the governor of Xichuan during the Tang Zhenguan period, to join his staff as a school book, and her interactions with Tang Shi Yuan Shen, Bai Juyi and others. Walking out of the Xue Tao Memorial Hall, you will see the Wangjiang Pavilion standing on the banks of the Jinjiang River. In the pavilion is a half-couplet left by the Qing people, Wangjiang Pavilion, Wangjiang River, Wangjiang Pavilion overlooking the Wangjiang River, the river pavilion is ancient, the river flow is ancient. It is said that there is still no satisfactory lower couplet. The river flows year after year, already following the passage of time, but Xue Tao's ancient well is still there. The autumn sun sets, shining on the newly renovated tomb, as if Xue Tao has not been gone for long.
