Nestled beside Shangri-La Colombo facing the Indian Ocean, One Galle Face Mall is Colombo’s first prestigious shopping development. Opened at the end of 2019, the 7- level mall houses many famous retail brands, restaurants, a cinema and many other entertainment options under one roof. If you are travelling with kids, you should check out level four where you can find most retail shops and entertainment facilities catered to children. My children tried out the mini golf course. Young kids will surely enjoy the Thomas train ride around level 4. We also had afternoon tea at McDonald's in level 4 which has outdoor seating where you can enjoy the stunning views of the Indian Ocean against Galle Face Green, a 500 m promenade in the heart of Colombo. Check out Keells supermarket on lower ground floor if you want to get some local snacks and cheap Sri Lankan tea for souvenirs.
