On January 18, 2024, Beijing time 09:00, the Fujian trip started the second attraction of the third day. The team leader Chen Jing and the local guide Zhang Ronghui took everyone to visit the Three Lanes and Seven Alleys in Fuzhou. This is a historical and cultural block in Fuzhou, Fujian Province, China, located on both sides of the east and west of Nanhou Street in the center of Fuzhou. It covers an area of 40.2 hectares and is composed of ten east-west streets, forming a 'chessboard' block system. The three on the west side of Nanhou Street are called 'Three Lanes', and the seven on the east are called 'Seven Alleys'. It is one of the larger ancient residential areas in southeastern China and is known as the 'living fossil' of the ancient neighborhood system. The courtyards in the lanes are symmetrically distributed along the central axis, with walls outside the houses, and multiple courtyards inside the houses are arranged along the depth axis, which is a symmetrical layout along the central axis, with a strong Fuzhou architectural style.
