Crossing the snowy world of the 318 Zheduo Mountain

Zheduo Mountain is located in Ganzi Prefecture, Sichuan Province, with the highest peak at 4962 meters above sea level and the pass at 4298 meters above sea level. The altitude difference with Kangding City is up to 1800 meters. It is the first high mountain pass to be crossed on the Sichuan-Tibet line, hence it is known as the 'first pass of Kangba'. Zheduo Mountain is not only the watershed of the Dadu River and Yalong River basins, but also the boundary of Han-Tibetan culture. Once you cross Zheduo Mountain, you officially enter the Kangba Tibetan area. 'Zheduo' in Tibetan means 'curved', which is translated into Chinese as the two characters 'Zheduo'. The mountain road of Zheduo Mountain is indeed winding, winding back and forth like the character 'Duo', turning one bend after another, no wonder the locals have a saying: 'Erlang Mountain that scares people to death, Zheduo Mountain that turns people to death'. This time I crossed Zheduo Mountain and successfully checked in at the 4296-meter-high pass platform without any altitude sickness, I'm really happy! After crossing Zheduo Mountain, I feel one step closer to my dream of Tibet!
