I set off from Xinduqiao at noon, and got stuck in traffic for a while on the road🚗. By the time I reached the parking lot at the foot of the mountain, it was already past 3 o'clock, and then I took a minibus🚌. (The minibus was quite bumpy, but still bearable. The road was very narrow, and in some places only one car could pass, so some cars had to back up and give way, which was a real test of driving skills😱. I didn't realize the problem until that night.) Then I switched to a motorcycle, barely sitting on the seat, and had to keep my legs propped up🤔 (The wind and sand on the road were strong, so you must wear sunglasses🕶️. I lost my sunglasses and my eyes were dazzled several times. Don't wear a hat, it's easy to be blown away.) After getting off the motorcycle, I climbed a small section of the mountain, which was quite steep (you can also choose to ride a horse up🐎). At the mountain pass, there is an entrance fee of 30 yuan per person. There are more mountains above the pass, and if you want to take closer photos of the snow-capped mountains, you can continue to climb or go down to the lakeside🤳. At first, I chose to climb the higher mountain. Although it was tiring, the experience was not bad👍. The altitude here is over 4000 meters. I gave up climbing halfway because it was almost sunset, and went down to the pass, and then down to the lakeside. The scenery is really beautiful, and there are quite a few people, which is normal for a scenic spot🤗 (I was too busy taking selfies, so I only took a few shots of the scenery. Now that I think about it, I should have taken more photos of the scenery, because the scenery changes every moment at sunset🤔.) As the sun was setting, the snow-capped mountains on the left were set ablaze, very beautiful, with a gentle orange color😍. I hurriedly walked towards the lakeside, but halfway there, the sunset was gone, so the sunset is fleeting, and it's not realistic to want to take sunset photos from various angles🌇. After the sunset, I prepared to return. Maybe I was exhausted, and it was very hard to climb to the pass😫. I rested several times on the way. When I reached the pass, the wind was very strong, and I started to descend after a rest. Halfway down, I found that it was blocked, and then I realized that we had already lined up halfway up the mountain (we had to wait for the motorcycle to pick us up🚵). Looking back, the line had already reached the ticket office at the pass🤦. Finally, it was our turn, and I took another exciting motorcycle ride🚵. The driver was very nice, saying I could lean on him. I'm quite light😜, and it's quite dangerous to ride a bike at night, as there are no lights on the mountain roads, they ride very fast, and they get paid by the number of rides🤑. It's really exciting, and you have to hold on tight to the driver, otherwise it's easy to have an accident🤐. When I got to the place where I was waiting for the minibus, I started to line up again🤦. I waited for a long time and there was no movement, this was the coldest and most uncomfortable time😭. Later, I found out that it was because it was jammed with self-driving cars returning (as I mentioned before, the road is difficult to navigate, and some roads can only accommodate one car🚗). ⚠ It's very hot when you go up the mountain, and a down jacket is enough. It's very cold when you go down the mountain🥶, and if it's not during the peak tourist season, you can survive without wearing thermal underwear. I was cold because I had been in line for too long and didn't wear thermal underwear😭. There is no shelter on the mountain, don't believe the management when they say there are toilets on the mountain🚾. I wanted to go to the toilet at the time, and the management told me to go on the mountain. Luckily, I didn't have to go that badly, otherwise I would have been in agony🤢. When I couldn't stand it any longer, the minibus finally arrived🚌. By the time I got back to the parking lot, it was already 10 o'clock at night, and if you're not staying nearby, you won't get back to Xinduqiao until midnight🕛.
